Congrats to her and Peter, they'll make great parents and I believe that they will be writing Mariska's pregnancy into SVU so Olivia will be pregnant this season sometime

That dude will probably be in jail for awhile. Besides, isn't it a crime for Olivia to be with anyone but Elliot?

"NBC, the producers, cast and crew of 'Law & Order: SVU' are thrilled for Mariska. The producers are going to continue shooting season seven of the series with Mariska in her award-winning role as Detective Olivia Benson. Mariska's character Detective Benson will not be pregnant on the show and is scheduled to appear throughout the season."
This will be the first child for both Mariska and Peter.
Mariska has been nominated twice for an Emmy and won a Golden Globe in January for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on "SVU."

depending on how far along she is they may be able to hide the "bump". if she's due during the hiatus, she may not miss any eps this or next season, unless she decides to be a stay at home mom

she's probably no far enough along for them to have to make liv pregnant, they could film all her scenes for the rest of the season before she really starts showing, or maybe she'll get hurt and be on "medical leave" from the force

Yay for Mariska!! I wonder why they aren't writing it in the show? Before they were all for writing it in and now they aren't going to do it? That's weird. Maybe they just didn't want to write it in b/c it can't be Stabler's baby and Olivia with another man would make a lot of people mad...what do you think?

or she could say she was just gaining a lot of weight
and until its very obvious that she is pregnant, she will probably wear not as tight fitting clothes.. then she might be off for a little bit

no offense i mean like her hubby isnt the hottest guy alive and i got the red book magazine a couple days ago and it sed how she wanted a baby and i am like 2 my big bro if she gets fired from the show or the show gets cancceld cuz she cant be on it(as a joke 2 wat i am bout 2 say) her husband will have a lil' visit from not a good 1!!!!

Oh ok, i prefer this one cuz i'm usally confused when go to Mfans not because of the netspeak because i'm usually lost there, cant find what i'm looking for and i dont like how the board is set up. Dont know how true this is but i saw it on mariskawebsite. Which Middle name do u guys choose.
I found something out that if she were to have a baby girl the middlename would be Jayne named after her mother...I think that is beautiful..I don't remember where I heard or saw this, but its true. what are some of your favorite names??
Mine is I think if she has a girl then Jayne should be her first name but then aagain i was thinking that might be a constant reminder of her mom...maybe that would be sad anyways, how about Jayne Mariska Herman?
