Did you see it? I know it just finished but I was wondering what everyone thought.. I liked it, and it was nice to see him in a dramatic role. But I DID NOT LIKE THE ENDING!!!
Call me a hopeless romantic, but it could have had a better ending.. Other than that, I liked it..
He still looks good I will see anything with Harm

I watched the beginning and some other parts of it and I liked it, but I really had to study so I couldn't watch the whole thing. I'll probably watch it tomorrow when it comes on at 2:00.

It was a good movie -- agree that the ending was a little disappointing. DJE did a good job and looked great with longer hair, which I prefer. That's one of the many reasons why I like him in S1 better than in later eps. TPTB made him keep it short in following seasons. Where was he in 2005 "People" Sexiest Man Alive issue? -- IMHO he should have been on the cover rather than only in "1995 Sexy Lawyer" section!

I saw the last minute of it when they're doing the house scene, then I watched the credits.

We were having lightning and thunderstorms last night, both of which Dish Network dislikes, so I missed about 15 minutes before the "date" scene due to service interruption. About the time the system would reboot after one lightning bolt, here came another, knocking it out again. Very aggravating; my only complaint with the small dishes. I taped it this afternoon so I could see what led Terry & Elaine to get to that point in their post-accident relationship. It is an amazing story.
The ending reminded me of the last 7.5 minutes of Fair Winds and Following Seas - I looked at the clock last night and noticed the movie had to wrap up in 8 minutes, and a lot had to be tied up quick. Deja vu all over again. It must be something about DJE that causes writers to do this!

DJE gave a super performance, proving that he is a very fine actor, and should not be typecast as a Navy lawyer/pilot. It's an amazing story. I wish there had been a postscript at the end telling the viewer about the Evanshen's relationship now. I also wish that the fuzzy-brained, dimwitted Hollywood PTB would realize that DJE is leading man material with wide-ranging acting abilities.

My thoughts exactly about FWFS -- that came to mind immediately following the ending.

Very well said! If you haven't seen it yet, watch "Holiday
Affair" 12/21 & 22. It's the remake of a very old BW starring Robert Mitchum & Janet Leigh, but better. DJE is very good in this seasonal piece.

DJE gave an outstanding performance, providing viewers with a close look at the raw emotions and the both obvious and subtle difficulties that overwhelm people who suffer a brain injury. I only wish the movie had shown more of Terry Evanshen's incredible struggle. I thought Wendy Crewson was great and totally believable as Evanshen's wife Lorraine, but I would have like to have seen more of what Terry himself endured and how he made such a miraculous recovery from such a devastating injury.

Saw parts of "The Stranger I Married", taped it so I can sit down and watch the whole thing. Liked what I saw of DJE. He's just sooooo cute! Have a question though, does he have his wife (Nanci Chambers) in everything he does? I can't say I'm really thrilled with her. I guess Singer did me in. Just can't see those two together, oh well!

I've noticed that Nanci Chambers is in a lot of things he does too. I saw his movie "Dodson's journey" and I think she was in that one. She was also in JAG. And I was on imdb.com and it said that she's in some other movies with him. I think she's a good actress, and I actually liked Singer. Haha. She had a bad attitude most of the time, but I thought it was funny sometimes and I liked her character.

Please understand that I have no acting skills and am definitely no expert on the subject, but I think Nanci Chambers did a good job with the awful role of Singer. She was totally unlikeable, had no discernable redeeming traits, and was physically ugly in the role when she was in military dress. I think that would be the hardest of all roles to play. I always thought maybe they would write some humanity into Singer, but it never happened. At least she was able to be pretty once in a while, such as when she was in civilian clothes with Sergei and in the Lifeline episode.
She will live stereotyped forever in the minds of us JAG fans as the witch Lauren Singer, which is too bad.

Yes, I've seen this movie. It's a nice, warm fuzzy kind of holiday movie. And DJE is wonderful!

Nanci was also in Code 11-14 with her hubby. She's a fine actress and really nailed the character of nasty Singer. A few times she did appear vulnerable, like in Jagathon when she was running in the race and crying. I felt sorry for her. I admire David for including Nanci in his projects. They must have a strong marriage. Hooray for both of them!

Why not include Nanci in his projects since she needs to have something to do.... Remember, she just had a baby so she could get a sitter for a short time while she did her scenes which were probably all shot at the same time in the hospital.. I looked up the real person online afterwards and found that he does speaking tours now... The real person was really a big deal in the CFL..
