There are a couple things I think need to happen to bring the show up to where it was when it started. We've grown to trust that Johnny can prevent all things that the episodes bring him. We know that he sees more than we are shown...obviously. And we also know that he sees many things that he can not stop, and this really affects him, as it would anyone in his position.

I think we need to have an episode where he fails. Where he misinterprets the vision, where he doesn't get there in time. It has to be something relatively major too. People put so much faith into him now, expect him to be able to solve all thier problems and mysteries. What if they were forced to question thier faith in him? What if he was forced to question his faith in himself. I think he's putting too much trust into his ability. We know he rarely sees the whole vision in one vision, it takes multiple visions to really understand what's going on. It would be so easy to misinterpret when or how things might happen.

Oh how dramatic would that be? I'd love it.

I think that'd be good too. I would like to see Walt solve a case by himself - you know real detective work. He just calls Johnny and he saves the day. I'd like him to have to not rely on Johnny so much, which may take Johnny being wrong once.

Okay i so think that Walt needs to solve a case on his on. That would be so cool. But on the whole thing about Johnny failing, that has all ready happened. It was a episode called Looking Glass. Remember with the twins. well then again i guess he didn't fail he warned her and she still snuck out but in the end she did die. So that was the only person that i guess he never saved.

That may be true, but it didn't seem to change people's faith in John. That is what needs to happen. People need to loose faith in him. I don't care if it's because he fails or however else.

He has the people behind him at this point. There are no more skeptics left at this point it seems really. That is what needs to change.

I do agree with that, everyone thinks that if they have a problem that they can just go to Johnny and he can solve it. he does need a big spirally downfall. something that will help realize that he can't stop everything but let them know that he does what ever he can to make things better.
