Someone tell me what's up with Lita. I'm so sick and tired of seeing her following Edge around like he is so special.That man ain't nobody. It's time for her to get back in the ring and do what she do best. And that's kickin' ass!!!

Lita has been a complete waste of a character. She could've been one of the biggest female superstars in WWE history, just for how much the fans loved her, and for some reason they decided to just turn her into a complete heel, and some bimbo that follows Edge around.
I just didn't get it at all.

LITA did all that herself WWE wants there characters to be developed by the people who portray them and when lita slept with EDGE in real life she sealed her fate

WWE was forced to turn Lita heel when fans started booing her out of the building, as the Edge/Matt/Lita story came out. Pretty simple really, I thought it was common knowledge.
I remember at Raw live in Birmingham (England) they showed her on the big screen for about one second - everyone was booing their ass off and they took her off the screen. I think that's about the time they figured out Lita wasn't going to be a babyface EVER again.

Well I took a break from wrestling for awhile, but I 'knew of' the Lita/Matt/Edge triangle. But the people I were talking to didn't know how close to reality it was, or was it just a WWE love triangle in the storyline.
But thanks to everyone for clearing it up for me. So I guess her being a complete slut destroyed her stardom.

When Matt found out Lita was doing the dirty with Edge behind his back while he was out injured, Hardy wrote about it on his message board, that's how everyone knew. WWE were mad and fired him over it.
Since it was made common knowledge, and the fans thought Matt should never have been fired over it, they started chanting "We Want Matt" through all of Edge's matches. WWE tried to ignore it at first, but even Lita started getting booed, so to WWE's credit they ran with it. Turned Lita heel on TV, and brought back Matt, writing the real life storyline into the shows...
An amazing example of fan power really. Quite possibly the biggest in WWE history.

yeah, that and "One More Match" lol
They should sooo put Lita back in the Women's Division.
I mean, there's only one real heel for Trish to fight right now, and that's Victoria. I can see the Mickey James fued building up, but that still only makes 3 real women wrestler's in the division.
Lita/Victoria vs Trish/James would be AWESOME.
And WWAAYY better than Victoria/bimbo #1 as a tag team.
