This message board is for Sunday after we all watch the show so we can come and say what we think. Or if you can't wait for Sunday night like me, just post what's on your mind.

That ending was great as long as they do, do a follow up. If it got good ratings, I'm sure they'll air another at anytime now.

I'm new to this message board stuff but I came looking for some answers. I started watching the re-runs of walker texas ranger like years ago and i watch them over and over again. Trail by fire was absolutly great but my jaw literally dropped when alex got shot. I will be beyond disappointed if she don't live. I was wondering if anyone has heard if they are going to continue with the movies. I will check back later.

I missed the first part, did they mention Sydney?

I thought the actual plot was good, but the rest stunk, or was just so-so.
This was obviously done in the style of the last few seasons of "Walker", and I NEVER cared for the last few seasons. I just hate how the martial arts have gotten on the show. I do not like this Jackie Chan/Jet Li, Hong Kong filmed style of martial arts, mixed with "The Matrix". It's way way too over the top.
I prefer the old school Chuck way of doing the martial arts, like he did in some of his most popular films, and in the first half of "Walker". It's much more realistic.
I didn't like the new character of Kay. No offense to Janine Turner, she's a good actress, but she was out of place. I missed Sydney, and her edge that she brought.
And in response to Phall, there was NO mention of Sydney, which was dumb. I mean, I can't believe they just dropped the character. They brought back Gage, but mentioned no Sydney at all. I mean, what happened to Gage & Sydney's sexual tension that went on in the last season? That was a little romance building.
The best part of the movie was Alex's death. I mean, GOD, why did they not do this in ... ummm ... Season THREE! I have NEVER liked the character of Alex, and would've given a small fortune to see her killed early on in the series. To me, Walker, Trivette & CD were always the strongest points in the show. And with that being said, where was Trivette? I missed him, though I understand that Clarence was on a trip with his family.
Overall the movie was fair, and I would like to see "Walker" revived, but not in the style of "Trial By Fire". I mean, come on, what in the h*ll was up with the 'tree flinging' that Walker did to that guy. WTF? That was pure 'jumping the shark'. All I could see was Fonzie skiing over a shark in his aviator jacket, shorts, and boots.

Just for the record, it isn't a knew fact that Alex was killed. I've watched the ending a couple hundred times (I'm not kidding either) I've gone over every part of the ending time and time again and I have friends who have done the same. It doesn't look like Alex was shot in the heart. If she was she would have been BOOM DEAD! But it took Alex several moments to realize she had even been shot. So it's a little more likely that the bullet gazed her heart and didn't hit it. But we won't know anything until the next movie. Until then I personally hope Alex lives.

I liked certain parts of this movie for instance I liked seeing Walker was now a captain, I liked the scenes between Walker and Alex at home with their daughter(what happened to the ranch?) However I really didn't like the way they left us up in the air, was Alex killed?( To Personworld: perhaps you've never seen The Godfather 3, where at the end Michael Corleon's daughter after having been shot in the heart has a moment before she falls dead.) was this a cliffhanger to leave us guessing until the next Walker TV movie....will there be a next TV movie? I don't know....do you?

Nope I've never seen The Godfather 3 or any of them. But I still don't see why they would being the show back and do a movie just to kill off a character. So I think Alex is going to live. And yes from what I've heard and been told there will be another movie. Chuck Norris wants to do more, it's just up to CBS to order them. So if you want more Walker email CBS and tell them. I think I've emailed them like 3 times almost, but they haven't emailed me back yet.
