J.R. leaving RAW for Wwe online...lets say we the fans had a choice for his replacement. Who out of these men would it be?

J.R. should not be replaced, until/unless he leaves the wrestling world on his own volition. He is the Gordon Solie of this generation.

I happen to like the Coach, but he can't replace JR because Coach is already part of the announce team. I would go with Joey Styles.

JR just mentioned that there are internet rumors going around of him being fired...

anyone know anything about this?

I know a lot of you don't like the Coach, but believe it or not, I got to meet him when RAW was in Hampton Virginia, and he was one of the nicest people we got to meet that night. We met most of the Raw wrestlers.

I heard jr is struggling with cerebral palsy again and he has asked for time off so this is his way of getting help for it. I think they will bring in a former annoucer to help king. I also hear coach is on the way out because he sucks at his job on the mic. Expect in the next month to see someone. I hope its joey styles because he is still under contract with wwe.

Please don't float rumors around about peoples health. Even though JR. is an ON-AIR personality we all know little about him outside of that. If Bels Palsey is the reason I hope he gets better and comes back soon. I wouldn't be expecting Heenan. Coach is there to stay whether we like it or not. He's being groomed obviously and with the loss of Heat the WWE in all likely hood didn't want to lose him to college football. I would love to see Joey Styles, or even Eric Bischoff. Say what you want about his on air character the man was great on the mike as a host on Nitro.

JR. I know you probably don't read posts or visit the internet much but your 30 year contribribution to Pro-Wrestling and Sports Entertainment is immeasurable. You have done such a wonderful job on Raw and On Smackdown (When it was yours) you are going to be missed.

If this really is your last time I wish you well.

I'm still irked about Coach someone tell me why he would continue to berate Jim Ross is this man truely "in character" that much?

Yes, it's all character. Coach has been told to say those things by Creative with the ok of Vince. They want people hating him. When Coach comes out this Monday, the WWE want the biggest heel heat on Coach they can get. I bet it works. Watch, when Coach is introduced and walks down the ramp, the boos are going to be tremendous. That's the exact reaction they want, so Coach is just out to build up that reaction.

Considering that the "Firing of JR" is all and solely a storyline angle to build Heat up on the McMahons and start building the Chants of "Stone Cold" to come out and stun someone -- I think of the names listed on the poll I would have to say right now you got to go with Dusty Rhodes. Who better to place at the announce table to create more outrage at what's happening with the McMahons being on a power rush. Dusty Rhodes could become the real heel announcer overly pushing the McMahon way of thinking and King could turn Face taking up for the history and spirit of Wrestling that his long time friend JR once stood for.

Sooner or later they bring in the new announcer they want to pair up with Coach, Dusty Rhodes is fired (and we all cheer) and the JR firing storyline will conclude with a heroic return of JR to restore his Credibility and return him to his rightful place as the wise hometown sage that knew what he was talking about and knew just how to make you feel about it.

Then King and JR will move on to a new assignment with the WWE.

You'd be nervous too if you had Vince McMahon in your headset every minute telling you what to say. At the beginning of the show when he first put his headset on you can clearly see him grabbing his ear and saying "what?" somewhat stressed out.

Your right there have been those rumors of Vince telling him not to screw it up. Lets face it he's had his chances, he'll do a lot better in College Football. If JR. really is gone from Raw duties please bring in someone who can sound exciting no Josh Mattews or some random weather guy. Where is our respectable JR farewell too. I about choked on a sub just watching the mock package.

It was acting. He purposely went out and tried to do as bad a job as possible. The WWE wants everyone think Coach is a poor replacement for JR. It continues to build the heat on Coach.

The -- GORE, GORE, GORE! -- line is a perfect example. So many people across the internet are actually using that line to say that Coach doesn't know the moves. Coach certainly knows Edge's finisher is called a SPEAR. Coach used the phrase to one, sound bad on purpose and two to poke fun at JR because JR often mixes up moves and names.

I want a show of hands as to how many people caught on that Coach's bad announcing was all just an act.

I digress. Do the rating tell the story also? I'm all for good change but....you have to have quality people as the voice of RAW. Coach looks bad on air. I give you that he's being paid to look bad, but that quality makes the product look bad. Josh Matthews can play a better heel than Coach. Coach is simply hated for the sake of hating. Ratings go down when he appears, it's not a freak thing. It happens every time he's on air. He's like the Pauley Shore of annoucing. Hell there would be a spike in ratings if Pauley Shore showed up. I'd mark out for him any day over Coach.

JR isn't replaceable. I understand that he wanted time off for his disease, but they should have done it in a different way. JR has been around long enough that they should have made him get into an arguement with either Bishoff or Mick and throw his headset in their face and quit. Maybe they will have Hogan take his place????
