What in the world was Triple H thinking last night when he beat the crap out of best friend RIC FLAIR. Was he jealous because of the time Ric Flair had teamed up with Shawn Michaels to fight Chris Masters and Carlito. Because guys that's all that i can think of.

It's called keeping the character interesting, obviously WWE is ready to take the title of Cena so they needed HHH to do something else. Oops was this topic supposed to be in kayfabe?

It could be teaming up with HBK that HHH is upset about. I think overall it's more of a control thing. Flair came back to Raw without asking HHH. He teamed up with other wrestlers without asking HHH. He went after the IC Title without asking HHH or better stated without HHH telling Flair, "I think it's time for you to go after the IC Title."
Tune in on Monday -- and they might give us an answer.

While I can see Ric Flair winning a match over HHH it would just be a grudge match. I can't see Flair winning the match with a belt on the line. HHH would get too much needed heat by beating Flair out of any title.

Needs is not the issue. HHH would take it to humilate Flair. That would be dramatic and cause an emotional response in the audience. That is need. But I don't think HHH will take the IC off Flair. He'll probably help someone else to take it off Flair.

I think he means that in the upcoming feud between Flair and HHH, that Flair will have the upper hand in winning the match or at least the first half of the feud. HHH has already gotten the needed heat for his heel return to RAW. They haven't settled the score inside the ring yet. It does nothing for Flair if HHH just continues to beat him up inside the ring. It does a lot for the feud if Flair gets a victory of HHH and then HHH comes back with full Vengeance to take Flair out once and for all.
