Like Burn Notice, In Plain Sight and other USA programs, White Collar is a clever concept with good plotting with a decent cast. Unlike the others, though, the writing on White Collar is cheesy and badly contrived, and the music interludes are horrid. The producer needs to spend a little more time and money to secure higher quality scripts, and someone there needs to lose the cute music. White Collar has all kinds of potential, but it still misses the mark.

Its a freshmen show so of course things need to evolve a bit.

I do agree that the show is evolving, however, I love that the scripts are lighthearted, fun without any "dark" qualities to them. I find it refreshing and actually enjoy the music and the scenes in between of New York. I think they are beautifully photographed.
