Like many people here I beleive that Monk and Natalie belong together. Their feelings for eachother are so obvious it's just rediculous. However there is one man, and ONLY one man who I think could credibly take away Natalie from Monk.
Is it her husband Mitch? Perhaps not really dead and returning after all these years? No.
Is it her husband's best friend Lt. Albright who we know has the hots for her? Of course not.

My purpose for this topic is to show that even the most hardcore Monk/Natalie shipper can at least entertain the idea of another man taking Natalie.

Natalie is a great woman and any man would be lucky to have her, but she's not like a prize to be awarded. I think that if someone does end up with Natalie, it should be of her choosing, someone she wants to be with, even if it is does turn out that she wants to be with Albright.
