"Suspend your disbelief". Seriously, lol. It's like an extra dose is needed for that one. What really gnawed at me was the fact that Shawn and Gus don't wake up until after the window has been long smashed (and the doctor and Stu long gone, it seems), with a few pieces of glass falling from the broken pane above. But wouldn't they have been awakened by the Doctor actually taking the baseball bat to the window? I could see the scenario in context if the Doctor came into the office, drugged Stu and took him out right away, and then came back in to break the window and plant the hair, but how was he supposed to get out the second time? Jump through the window?
*deep breath* Right, suspending my disbelief.

Right, let's stick with that.
ok so we know they fell asleep during wrestling, were they drugged?
I mean apparently this is not something they would generally do, pass out that hard in the office watching 'wrestling' of all things, especially with a man duct tapped to a chair behind them.
even if they woke UP with the sound of the crash it would be a foggy moment for the both of them.
and the flash back is generally what shawn figures happened, unless the other char says "this is how it happened you idiot."
So...while this was not my fave episode by any means.. the disbelief can be held at bay by interjecting a little realism in an unrealistic situation already.
and while shawn is a very very very observant person he may have been more interested in the fact that the guy that had been duct taped was gone, regardless of the how at that moment.
and finally my favorite part of psych is the comedic and sometimes unrealistic nature, instead of the play by play of csi. besides they aren't crime scene investigators, they don't always go over things with a fine tooth comb...
lets just say with shawn not believing he's a werewolf, he felt that the window being broken outside wasn't as big a deal as finding stuart?
shrug.. my .02 cents not worth a hill o beans
