That in Happy Birthday Mr. Monk, that when he is using the vacuum in his apartment he ran a coin over with the new vacuum saying how nice it is. He picked the coin up and it was the same coin in the same place as the coin in Mr. Monk and Sharona. Weird right? I just noticed this because I was watching Happy Birthday Mr. Monk on Hulu.com and saw that.

I had not noticed that, but I did notice in Mr. Monk and Sharona the Captain is wearing a wedding band...but he's not married yet, and Sharona congratulates him on his new girlfriend.

I didn't notice that, but will watch carefully the next time I see that episode. Speaking of 'who noticed' there are now (2)
things that stand out to me that don't seem all together Monkish.

1.)I'm not sure if it's actually in an episode, but definitely in the promo's, Monk is cleaning and they show him cleaning around a frame on the shelf, possibly a picture of Trudy. Mr. Monk would have to pick up the frame & clean. Lite dusting just in front of the picture, on the shelf, would never do.

2.)The episode for Monk's birthday: at the end he uses his fork to feed Natalie a piece of cake???
It doesn't show him eating off it as well, but he would surely make a fuss. Either give her that fork and/or insist she find her own fork. I can't see a germophobic character that would separate out corn, sharing cake from the same fork, even with the lovely Nat.

The weird things I noticed (along with Chibizaki and WisconsinLovesTony) is that Ileane Meltzer was the costume designer for both Monk and Stark Raving Mad (another Tony Shalhoub tv show).

Another thing I noticed was that the man who is the co-producer for Monk is named Anthony Santa Croce. In Mr. Monk Takes the Stand, the judge's name is Judge Santa Croce.

Did anyone else notice these?
