What happened? I don't see a thread started here already (only looked at page 1 and 2) so I suppose I'll start it myself!

So, finally Halloween episode rolls around! You gotta love how they threw in the prankster theme. Not only was it present in the crime itself, but around the workplace, hehe. And as always, have to love Tony's assumptions and the final verdict.

I must say though, I hope we get into some good edge-of-your-seat action soon! I was grateful to have that experience on the premiere, but after the wind-down, and catching up it's starting to feel slow. I can feel it coming though! I'm getting a gut feeling on that one

I wondered what happened too, Ranemist! LOL. Everybody must have been busy this week. I know I was. Thanks for starting the topic. I don't have much time to post so I'll just say that I loved this episode as soon as I saw the Halloween theme at the beginning.

I don't understand the Halloween theme. Halloween is next week...why not wait until then to do it.

Plus...this season is starting out soooooooo slow. I actually wasn't interested in the epi.

In my opinion the Halloween episodes are always one of the best in the any season, So I like this episode a lot.

Slow indeed, purple, I'm hoping they are just letting us build up the suspense for fun and action packed episodes the rest of the season.

Neither NCIS or NCIS:LA will be on next week. My guess is because of the World Series. I'm not sure which network has it this year (don't follow baseball, it's about as boring as watching golf), but when something like that's going on the networks will show reruns because of ratings.

This seasaon is starting out slow. If they don't step it up pretty soon it may be the last season.

Thanks, mich, I did not know that. I kept thinking there's no holiday that would mess up the schedule...IS there? LOL. I'm sad it won't be on this week, but I'm glad to know it now rather than waiting around all day Tuesday and turning the TV on to find out there's no new episode on or even none at all. That would make me mad rather than a little sad!

This episode was pretty good. I agree that it has slowed down since the premiere, which was awesome. I hope it picks up soon and gets back to the things that make the show so different from others.

I'm late chiming in but I agree, the team was good but the other characters were not believable. Practical joke guy too over the top, hateful deranged daughter too over the top. Um, how did she get liquid nitrogen??? The mom was the most believable, but she pushed the edges of credibility. I did enjoy Mr. Rogers, his sweaters, and Tony's comments..

At least we don't have the overwrought drama about Ziva, which could have been compelling if handled more skillfully. Instead it's overdone, too sensational and inconsistent at times-- they're close to having something good, but spoil it by trying too hard.

Hopefully, they will get back in their groove. I don't think NCIS has jumped the shark yet, but it needs a better producer.
