It seems weird without her, where are you chief Vick??

Beats me, I was wondering the same thing!!!!!

This is just a guess, but it might be for budgetary reasons. Shows have had to take a lot of cost cutting measures this year and less Vick (who is, unfortunately, the most expendable of the main cast) might be one way to trim the fat a bit. Hopefully, if that's the case, she has a minimum episode guarantee in her contract and we'll see a lot of her in the second half of the season. I miss her.

Her husband IRL is a (I think) showrunner for another television series. Maybe like many modern families, when his job required more time, she cut back on her hours. I do think it's a testament to the actress, Kirsten Nelson, that she's missed as much as she is. She doesn't have a lot of screen time, anyway, but she makes the most of what sh has. She grounds both her detectives and Shawn. In my mind I believe some of the reason that the two sets of partners have clashed is the lack of Vick. She is quite authoritative. It would be cool if they did a flashback that shown Vick and Henry when she, maybe, first became a detective. They clearly have and old and established relationship. I'd love if that figured into a plot somehow.

yeah i miss her and like her too, is there anyway to know if she'll be back next half of the season? if so somebody find out !



i wish she was also on the comic con panel too, that suck she is part of the main cast !
