Seeing we finally got to see Shawn's newest installment of an apartment, I thought I'd start a topic to discuss it. There was so much to see in the short amount of screen time.

I know we all saw the Dislodged painting, as well as the American Werewolf poster. What else did everyone notice?

I liked that he had the PSYCH snowglobe.

Which baseball team do you think Shawn was supporting with the helmet on top of the popcorn machine? Judging by the color I would say it is either the Dodgers or the Royals. Shawn did not work at either of these parks according to his Myspace resume. I would lean toward's the Dodgers seeing they are in CA, but who knows?

I wonder what was in his CD collection? Probably 80's stuff.

Could someone put some screencaps up of Shawn's apartment? I don't know how to do that. Thanks!!!

Didn't he have a popcorn machine?

Other stuff I've noticed so far: a coke machine, a minature wienermobile, a picture of a bull (and in front of it I thought there was a small toy pineapple with a smiley face...), the director's chair that has his name on it from the Spanish soap opera set, a number of film reels (wonder what movies those are of... and where he's hiding the huge projector that can play them...).

James Roday was right when he said Shawn has crap everywhere... and I totally love it!! It's like looking for Shawn-artifacts.

I figured due to licensing rights, they didn't show the team logo. But the color is pretty specific to teams, which is why I guessed the two that I did. Although it could just be a generic one. It wouldn't suprise me.

Yeah, I figure there are certain things they don't even bother with because it'll never make it past legal. If there was a real reason for Shawn to support a team, I'll bet they'd try, but the licensing rights/legal department headaches wouldn't be worth it.

Although I just assumed (or fanwanked, depending on your POV) that it was his batting helmet from the SBPD softball game. Blue was their color.

I love how there's a random jar of peanut butter on the shelf in the second to last photo. I could totally see Shawn saying, "Dude, why have decorations, when you can have peanut butter! Plus if I'm hungry... popcorn and peanut butter! Does it get better than that?" hahaha

The Baseball helmat is from there is something about Mira when they are at the batting cages both Shawn and Gus are wearing them

Dude, that looks like a bottle of Captain Morgan on his shelf kinda behind the football...if thats what it is Shawn just got ten times better than he already was (which is reaaaally hard to do)

I totally agree. I wanna see Shawn playing that baby.
I also loved the row of movie theater seats, perfect for Shawn.
And the wine rack on top of the coke machine.

If you freeze frame you can see Shawn has the newspaper from
Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead on his desk. You can see 'PSYC' and 'MUM'

Also, supposedly the welcome mat has a pineapple on it, but I can't see it.
Also can't see the weinermobile. Where is it?

I can see the pineapple on the rug but you have to look REALLY fast!!!!!

You guys all ready made all the good comments that I was gonna make! (and here I was feeling all obsevent. then I saw the screen shots... 'nother self esteem piont bites the dust... lol) But no one metioned that cool little mike (like from an old radio station or somthing) on Shawn's table by the door. Just a Random little thing i thought was kinda cool. Also, I thought it was sooo Shawn-ish for there to be clothes every where. (and that moving rack in the center of his living room!) In the second to last screen shot, is that jelly on the shelf across from a jar of Jif (no, Skippy has the blue lid right?)? Personally, I like the natural stuff, but hey, i might just have to give Skippy a try, it's cheaper anyway. In the last screen shot, is that a movie on the shelf? (red cover) I can't see Shawn as a reader, but he'd probably read/comprehend really well and fast. But i jusst don't see him reading. (though I love it!)

I kinda got the impression that he eats out a lot.

Big jar of peanut butter on that shelf, along with other food, makes
me think he doesn't cook much, but there was a gizmo that looked
like a food processor in front of Jules in the cap where she's standing
by the Coke Machine. And the Coke machine has a handle on the side so
I think it's actually his refrigerator. The little counter-top area there
would be the 'kitchen' portion of the place. Kitchenette, more like.

looks kinda like a kids kitchen toy. but it also has 2 big buttons. truthfully i have no idea.

my guess is thats one of those things where u put in 25 cents and it tells you your weight or the name of your future husband/wife or something stupid like that. they're usually in arcades or at rest stops or something. hahaha

yeah that was my only guess too, but the stand was totally throwing me off...

I think it's one of those weight machines, seeing Juliet is standing near his bathroom door. Only he would have that instead of an actual scale!

The only thing that I didn't understood about shawn apartment is this:

In the interview that James give at the beginning of season 4 (the interview that appears on this site and I put it on youtube as wall), in the part of questions from fans (part 4) he asked on shawn's apartment and he said that this season we ( finally ) get to see it, and then he added to the question that if we want to know if it's like his private apartment, the answer is that it's not, due to the fact that in his apartment it's all about straight lines and shawn's apartment full of junk, so when I saw the apartment for the first time (and dozens of times since that ) I was expectation to find a very messy apartment , but shawn's apartment wasn't like this. His apartment is very organized place (alot more than my room, that for sure ).

Sure! Basically, James was talking about the interior design, not the degree of mess. The link below shows some good examples of what a minimalist interior design looks like. And as we can see with Shawn's apartment-- he has knickknacks everywhere! It's relatively neat, but a very full (cluttered) apartment.

I thought that was what everybody was referring to, only it doesn't look like a weinermobile to me.

OMG I just realized something.

Gus said that "last spring he stayed at the old Color Me Mine space" before he moved to MeeMee's.
And I'm rewatching Psy vs Psy and Shawn just said to Lindsey Lykan that he
knows of a Color Me Mine that stays open late. I think he was inviting her back to his place!
