I´m sooooo excided about this episode so I just had to make this thread. And now I´ve seen the promo like 5 times in a row, and omg, I´m totally freaking out about it. And I know there´s many Psych fans who are also looking forwardto this episode so to talk about the episode just write on this thread

Since I´m crazy about this episode I´ve searched for information about it and I have 4 differeny summarys about it!

1. While investigating a possible crime, Shawn stumbles upon one of a pair of criminals, gets shot, and is dumped in the trunk of a car.

2. While investigating a crime involving an ice cream truck, Shawn stumbles upon a different crime in progressand is taken hostage by the criminals.

3. Shawn finds himself central to a criminal enterprise when he interrupts a brother preparing for a robbery, and then ends up a hostage for the other brother when all his well-laid plans are ruined by one psychopathic action.

4. Shawn´s life hangs in the balance when, while working on a case involving an ice cream truck, he stumbles onto something bigger and more deadly.

I'm SOO excited about this episode I almost can't sit still. I've only seen the promo once but I'm gonna go find it to watch it again bcuz it about blew my mind. YAY PSYCH!! hehe. I can't wait.

After 5 months since reading the 1st spoiler and then having it changed from the 3rd episode to the 9th plus 2 breaks we are almost there this is the episode that has been most anticipated since the 1st spoiler I am looking forward to watching this and the promo was great.

I know, me too. We've been waiting for so long, and now 'tis only seven days away!

Although I will be sad after next Friday. Life without Psych to cheer me up on Fridays will be just... sad. I'll be clinging to my DVDs for several weeks and going into Psych withdrawal. XD.

I told my friend to prep her kids. Her little girls just love Shawn and Gus. They invite their friends over to watch it on Friday night and love the fun. She's prepped them for Psych Drama and they are ready to go.

And the girls think I'm famous because I got a Psych Magic 8 Ball. LOL!!! Cute...they are only 7, 11 and 12.

Psych is fantastic. Anyone of any age can enjoy this show.

Okay...now I'm ready for Boy Gets Capped. BRING ON DA ANGST BABY!!!!!!

so seeing that i am super duper obessed witht his epsiode like everyone else on this board i have anaylzed some of the secnes from the promo like when shawn is running through the woods i am think that is when he gest shot because mayb the kidnappers stops and shawns jumps out f the the trunk and runs and then gets shot in the woods and falls down becaus ein one of the promo pics the frist of his shirt is all dirty like he fell in dirt and then i think mayb he tries to call gus lassie jules or his dad when he is running n the woods and thats mayb how they find otu he is missing or whne in the promo pix he calls jules and that could b when they find out he is missing because tit hink that mayb they dont find out for a lil bit because lassie wask where spencer is and gus dose not know thta is very strange i am think maby Shawn went to follow a lead on his own and then gets kidnapped and of course herny ahs to get involed i feel so bad for him right now how are him and gus goign to deal with shawn hurt this badly?? also i am thinkng when he gets hit for the head with what looks liek a gun he could be on his way tp the psych offices or the police station which could prolong his pain because they have no idea where he is and in the theme song you see gus in his PJs on the phone with someone i think its about shwn and it hink he is in such a rush that eh just pust on his jacket but with because his PJs stick out in the promo i hope you liked my analzation i really cant wait for this eppy sad its the finally though but cant wait for the xmas eppy also (:

Haha, I was thinking the same. Seeing as "Yang" has pretty much become the nexus for all angsty-pants Psych fics, I'm interested to see where this one will take us. Hell, I've yet to write a single Psych fic yet and even the teaser for this episode has my fingers itching to dish out an in-depth, character-focused angst-burger. Plus, I'm a sucker for that come-together-as-a-team-to-save-our-wounded/missing-teammate spiel. BY YOUR POWERS COMBINED--... *brick'd*

ive been wanting to read fanfiction about this episode since i heard about it! there are 2 that ive found actually. but they're all based only off of spoilers. im excited to see what comes up AFTER the episode airs!

and you're not alone on the wanting to see shawn shot thing, a ton of us feel that way. im excited.

and i forget who said this or if it was even on this thread but someone said something about an xmas episode. there is no xmas episode this year. which is sad, i know.

I´m thinking a lot of this episode too and I´m trying to put everything together adn I agree with many of the things u said. Especially about that Shawn gets shot while running through the woods. Cause if u watch the scene where Shawn runs in the woods in the promo, u can see that he jumps over a log or somthing like that and he uses his left arm to help him get over, which means that while he´s jumping over, his left arm is holding his entire body weight. And he wouldn´t be able to do that if he´s shot in that arm. So that means that he hasn´t been shot before, so I think he gets shot in the woods right after that. But that´s just my theory. (It was kinda hard to explain what I meant in english so I´m not sure if u understand but anyway)

all I´m confused about is this picture:

that´s the same place he is in the promo when he gets hit in the head. On this picture, u can see that he´s been shot cause there´s a whole in the back of his jacket and u can see blood on the front. Now if what u say about Shawn getting knocked out and dumped in the car and then runs out in the woods and then get shot, how does this picture fit in?! since he´s already shot in this picture, this picture has to be after the running in the woods. And since this picture is in the same place as he got knocked out before, that means that he goes back there again. But why would he do that? It doesn´t make sense. (haha it´s hard to explain that too so I don´t blame u if u don´t understand what I mean xD)

Ok, first of all, CAPTAIN PLANET!!! lol. i started writing a psych fic once and, bad author that I am, never finished. I just have enjoyed reading them so much I don't feel the need to write one (yet). Hope you write one though, and let me know so I can look it up.

I totally understand you're 'sick part' that wants to see Shawn shot. I share it. Don't know where it comes from, because I don't understand why I would want to see someone I *love* like Shawn to be hurt, but I guess you must be right that it's just interesting to see them uncomfortable, it brings out the 'real' of them. My favorite scenes for Shawn/J-Ro have always been the ones where he gets serious. In 'There Might Be Blood' when Shawn talks the girl with the gun down from shooting him (and everyone else), when Shawn realizes Gus is hostage in a bank robbery in 'Gus walks into a bank' and the office scene (I think you know which one I'm talking about) in 'Mr. Yang' all immediatly come to mind so I'm stoked for this new DRAMedy episode. YAY!

and btw, i hope that shawn gets shot fairly early in the episode cuz it seems like a lot happens so i dont want it to be rushed cuz they spend half the time working up to it. im just saying

yeah right after I had wrote it I saw that he was holding his left arm, but right after u see that he stops like it hasn´t happend anything to his arm. Well anyway I´m just confused by all the clips and pictures we´ve seen, it´s so confusing in which order everything comes and since u´re really looking forward to this episode u just try to find out even more and it gets even more confusing. I guess we´ll have to wait and see.

And I agree with u, I hope he gets shot somewhere in the beginning of the episode. Cause it seems to be many things that are happening in this episode.

"Shawn Whump" sounds like something bigfoot would do to Shawn. Again I say to Shawnie Boy, learn how to bob and weave baby!!!!

A few other things I look forward to this eppy:

- Gus angst/drama - Shawn and Gus always man-up when the other is in trouble, and both actors are fantastic with drama so I truly look forward to it.
- Henry drama - looking forward to seeing Henry's feelings for his son shine through. Great how they show Henry's softer side and feelings towards his son (they can actually hug now...remember they couldn't do that in the past.)
- Lassie - even though Lassie is not a Shawn Fan, he's still "one of their own kinda" (not a cop but..) and Lassie takes pride in saving Shawn's patootie. So can't wait to see Lassie take out the bad guys.

- Jules - of course...I love it when she's in woman-up mode like Tuesday the 17th.

Andy Berman, I know you're going to bring the house down with this eppy. It's a great way to end the first half of Season 4. Thanks man.

Oh yeah. In fact, my little brother knows that if Psych or Psych related things are on, and he doesn't immediately stop moving/talking/breathing/etc, he can expect shouted threats and various objects lobbed in his general direction.

I didn't know Andy B was writing this episode!!! Omg, take whatever excitement I might have had and multiply it by like...a hundred!!

Nah, you just want some drama and as the above mentioned: "come-together-as-a-team-to-save-our-wounded/missing-teammate spiel." which is, I agree, completely awesome to see!

I love to see the characters we are used to seeing as their usual selves develop their back stories and add layers and dimensions that maybe even us the audience was not aware those characters were capable of. And life-threatening situations definitely add depth!

its not bad that u stop and stare cuz i just went thru and capped well, not the whole commercial, but all of the important parts. as i said, im trying to figure out a timeline. this is what i got... and its not a spoiler anymore if its in the promo right?

Before he's shot? the guy who shoots him is the guy who's pushing him in the picture. the clip was too short for me to figure out if he just pushed shawn or what. but either way it hurt. look at his face...

next, shawn's holding his shoulder in pain in the woods. so its definitly after he's shot...

and someone is chasing him. i think its the brother.

so its the fear of being caught and of dying and the adrenaline that lets him put his weight on his injured arm:

and henry/lassie and jules/gus meet up at Rhoda's car place thingie and shawn definitly WAS there at some point:

also notice that is during the day. its nightfall by the time lassie finds the blood:

and its daytime when the truck/vic thing happens.

and its REALLY hard to see but can you see shawn in the trunk bed? he pops up. and then he jumps!

and there ya go! now, i dont know if its in order cuz promos dont have to show things sequentially but it DOES make sense. only thing that may be mixed up is the team showing up at the car place and the finding the blood. (btw, henry says the "wont stop till i find my son" thing at night so probably the same time lassie finds the blood)

am i crazy? maybe. obsessed? definitly. am i bored? not really. this is what i call procrastination!

oh, and im really tempted to make this my profile picture on facebook for the week. what say you:

it doesnt have spoilers but it has a good looking james roday and it says that the finale is on friday at 10.

I agree with all of the above. Especially those in bold. I always look for scenes between Henry and Lassie, because they're first of all, rare these days, and secondly, highly interesting to me. For a while it seemed to me that those two had a sort of "son/father I wish I had," respectively. Not to be mean to Shawn, of course (we love him just the way he is *pinches his cheeks*), it just sort of came across that way. So their interaction interests me. And yes, the exclamation points are needed. If anything, there should be some more thrown in somewhere.

Now if what u say about Shawn getting knocked out and dumped in the car and then runs out in the woods and then get shot, how does this picture fit in?! since he´s already shot in this picture, this picture has to be after the running in the woods. And since this picture is in the same place as he got knocked out before, that means that he goes back there again. But why would he do that? It doesn´t make sense. (haha it´s hard to explain that too so I don´t blame u if u don´t understand what I mean xD)

(btw, henry says the "wont stop till i find my son" thing at night so probably the same time lassie finds the blood)

am i crazy? maybe. obsessed? definitly. am i bored? not really. this is what i call procrastination!
