I think the first step was in Hammered when she visited her mother's grave. Hopefully she had made peace with her mother's drinking and death in order to move on with her life and focus on the future rather then dwell the past.

Okay, how did we go from two different spoilers, one: Elliot ends up cradling Olivia in his arms and two: Elliot and Olivia are in Olivia's bedroom, to Elliot cradles Olivia in her bedroom. I'm pretty sure those were two separate spoilers and we kind of combined them. Not to sink anyones boat, but that way we aren't let down when we get to the episode.

The spoiler about Olivia being cradled by Elliot has been a spoiler for over a week now. Where and how is still unknown. It's all speculation until it's brought on the small screen.

And as far as this spoiler goes, well, as far as this whole Dean/Olivia, Olivia/Elliot/Bedroom madness goes, I just hope it doesn't go down the way of the Easter Bunny "Sin" scene or Cassidy/Andy Eckerson. And I think we know how all of that turned out!

That's part of the reason why I am not getting too excited about the El/Liv scene. We all remember the crap hug El gave Liv after saving his wife and son's life. It was supposed to be a well awaited and much anticipated scene. I hug my grandfather better then that crap. LOL! I have learned not to get too excited over spoilers. They 9 time out of 10 disappoint.

I remember those spoilers and I remember reading none of them are killed, but I think Dean will be shot (because everyone is shot but Olivia) and seriously hurt, but will not die; at least not that day. I think there is no mention of him returning because TPTB want to see the ratings and response to him first. If they injury him that leaves the door open to either bring him back later in the season, keep him on the sidelines with reference to Dean Porter once in a while, or just flatline him if the response is negative, either way it will put a halt to any hot romance right now. That is really the only reason I think they put the kiss in the preview, to get people to watch. Could be wrong, if he dies, then it will probably to save Olivia, which is the only way for him to go. But I fully don’t expect a return, and if he does it will be a long while

The reason I think its way because I was thinking of their (TPTB) other responses. Lake got a negative response, people wanted Munch and Fin back and we got it (Good reddens!). Greylck got a really bad response so they yanked her out by her hair mid season, (Better reddens) and returns the beloved Alex Cabot. Even though I believe Olivia would have dumped Kurt Moss in that one episode, I have to think Bill Pullman had a little more meat than that but it ended on the cutting room floor because people hated the idea from the moment it was said.

I was also thinking of the “Cradle” part. It said cradle, not comfort or console so I think he was cradling her to protect her from bullets? Because if Dean dies right there I can see him comforting her, but not right there with bodies all around them, know what I mean? I think he yells “Liv” because someone is about to shoot her and he grabs her and cradles her to shield her. The next scene we see Dean is shot. I think if he was consoling her because of Dean it would be a big emotional scene for Mariska to do and I think they would promote that as another great must see Mariska performance, yada yada. I also think their would have been a lot more eluding to a big emotional scene for Liv and Elliot, like in Wildlife, lets face it …that would get a lot more viewers because the DO ship is a fraction the size of the EO ship.

Or I could be completely wrong, either way I will have a DO makeout scene on my DVRwhenever I need it, I would like more but really only need the 1!

I totally agree with you! I found out about this on twitter after I posted the video. Everyone is all up in arms over this.

Neal would be a fool to change the promo! I say that because the most recent promo ties to Liv's behavior. Liv is all too happy to see this man, she moves in for a kiss and after watching 645 times, I noticed that her finger is playing with Dean's arm while they are on the couch. It totally fits, so Neal better man up and leave this as is.

And the cry babies need to realize that the bottom line is that Delivia does exist, and if they were not lovers in the past, they certainly are going to be now. Big babies!

Hi, I've lurked here a while, but when I read this comment I had to respond,


It actually didn't happen this way. When Neal got on last night, a few people where thanking Neal for the promo, and asking him what time period they were lovers at.
Neal was confused, so when someone sent him the promo, he watched it and said he never approved that promo. I think we should be happy that they weren't ex-lovers, that means something went wrong and they broke up. That could still effect them at this point. And if you are assuming they are ex-lovers, when you watch the actually episode it may not make any sense, know what I mean? Certain comments that may be made may not add up.

On that note also, earlier this month Nancy Forner used the term DOA to describe D/O. So while they maybe lovers for that episode, like hisgirlforevermore has said a few pages back, I wouldn't expect it to last past that episode. Also as long as I have been lurking on this website, I have seen my share of whining about the Elliot/Olivia relationship also. KWIM? I don't believe they were chastised about it either. Hey, shipping is a serious game lol.

I would hate for that to happen to Olivia, to finally trust a man and he end up being the perp. Olivia's life has been screwed up enough. From her father being a rapist, a mother that's an alcoholic, no extended family except for a barely there brother, and almost being raped herself. They need to let her find some happiness... I think it might would really break her emotionally to finally really open up to a man and trust him, and then he turn out to be evil.

TPTB are a bunch of unorganized fools. That has been made abundantly clear from all the mistakes they and the lack of continuity in the episodes. If you read the The Unofficial Companion, you will learn part of the reason why. The writers work separately so none of them know what the other is doing. And nobody deals with Marketing.

Both the claim that Dean and Olivia are ex-lovers AND that Elliot is the jealous partner are wrong. The last time we saw Olivia and Dean together she definitely turned down the idea of his staying at her apartment. Having them change that outside the story lines doesn't make much sense. And Elliot is has never been jealous of anyone Olivia got involved with. He has happy about Kurt Moss. The only type of jealousy he might feel would be the type felt in Wanderlust about Maureen dating Jimmy. It's nothing sexual but rather distress over things changing. Plus he doesn't like Dean. They are both alpha males and Olivia could be the bone they choose to fight over to show which one is top dog.

Jealousy comes in all flavors. El could very well be jealous, but that does not necessarily make it romantic jealousy. EO have gotten way too comfortable with El being the only male in Liv's life. So yea, El would be very jealous if Dean were in the picture for this reason, and because he does not like when Dean swoops in and makes him (El) take a back seat to his (Dean's) wants/needs. Kurt Moss does not even count, and I think we all can agree on this! And Dean is hardly an alpha dog type, not by any stretch of the imagination.

I agree with this. As we all know I am not an E/O shipper, but I think in a nonsexual, nonrelationship, strictly partne/friend way, Elliot sees Olivia as his woman. Not only is Dean a Fed he is THE Fed she was with when Olivia was gone for 6 weeks and he (Elliot) didn't know where she was.

I totally got that feeling when Elliot made the comment by the elevator, although I thought it was funny, it was very rude and uncalled for. seriously, who the hell is talking to you??? mind your business. "we all got your number" damn right we do, it's 1-900-SEXY-FED. that's his number.

Exactly, and even if Delivia were not lovers in the past, this is actually good. Good because that means Liv is really growing. She was not ready to let him in a few years ago, and now she gets a second chance with a man who knows all there is to know about her (and still wants her). As the preview shows, she has moved forward in her life, and she is acting on her attraction for this man. Too soon would have been a mistake.

So yeah, the glass is still 1/2 full.

That promo isn't necessarily new. It came out after the others, but all three of them were released before Baer said they were innacurate. Apparently the people who make the promos aren't associated with Baer, it's NBC's doing. So if they are still playing on the network, he can't make them take it down.

NB on Twitter responding about the promo: "That's jsut the promo person, they weren't. Yet."

So again, Neal should have just gone with it, but I am ok either way. This is win win win win for Delivia fans!

About the episode itself, does anyone else think that maybe it's Olivia who gets shot? It's complete speculation on my part but we've all been wondering how she's managed to dodge the bullet every single time after 10, 11 years. Maybe not only will we see her get involved with someone romantically after a long while, but she'll get shot too. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

I think it's a win win win for both Delivia shippers and E/O shippers. On one hand it states that there is and has been "romance" between Dean and Olivia and on the other hand it states that Elliot is jealous which indicates that he has strong feelings for Liv other then just friends/partners, in the E/O mind anyways. I wish San Diego had gotten that preview. LOL! Ours was pretty much simplistic and probably the preferred preview Neal Baer would have chosen. No romance insinuated, besides the kiss that is.

This one starts with "the unusual crime," and ends with the guy demanding that they "back off or I'll kill her!" Then, sound of a gun shot.

Someone saw the new promo on Friday when L&O was on and uploaded it to YouTube. Neal denied approving the first promo on Oct. 24th.
