hey guys--if you want anything edited in the Wikipedia article or added to it, please let me know and I'll do it. I'd suggest emailing me so I don't miss it. If there's anything else anyone needs help with or wants done, let me know. I'll be home from work after 6 (eastern) tomorrow evening. I'll do anything I can to help out--just ask!

My email: myrocketman1701@aol.com

lets include the two new blogs on the wiki article. Quietfireca's site and savebobbyandalex.blogspot.com

The idea about the local stations is a good idea, too. And if anyone lives in the NYC, CT, NJ area, I bet THOSE local stations might be a little more interested in picking it up quickly. wink.gif

Another thought: With all of the talk about other boards, why don't we work in tandem with them? For now, it looks like the majority of us want to continue here, but that doesn't mean we can't put things on other boards at the same time. It's always good to have a backup plan and the more the merrier, I say! We just have to check with the mods and hosts of those other boards to be sure of their "rules". I belong to more than one message board for a variety of things and I'm all for joining more. smile.gif

If you want to be acknowledged as a real movement you need this....

http://www.savethescc.com/

This is really well done - something along these lines is what you need.

The blogs are fine but you need something more official for people other than the 100 or so here.

Good luck - and thanks to those who pm'd and emailed. My Sydney appreciates the well wishes.

Bye folks....

funny you with say that. I just joined criminalintent-us. I have to say that they are not quite as prolific over there as we are here. I figured that I could share my blog, and hopefully get some other links and info that could be posted over here.

Not at all. Really we should to gurellia and post about the movement...

Exactly! And there are also letters to the editor of various newspapers to consider. If you use the online feature for those, I think they post right away. The actual printed ones in the publication go through the editor first.

That's the other CI board I belong to. It's quiet in the off-season, though. There are a decent handful of regulars who post there and a few of us are posting our info in Quietfire's thread "Saving Robert Goren (and Eames of course!).

What other boards do you know of?

From the Los Angeles Times:

"According to Kagan Media, an industry consulting firm, USA Network will have operating revenues of $1.4 billion this year and cash flow of $633 million."

LOL, and they can't shell out a few clams to the actors that put them there!

And that means very little for each show, which has to stand on its own.

USA Network has been cutting back in a lot of cases over the past couple of years, including dropping the US Open Tennis Championships (which until this year, when it moved to ESPN2 and The Tennis Channel had been on USA Network for I believe 20+ years on cable) among other sports it used to carry. As said, I suspect the cuts were because USA was anticipating seeing a major drop in ad revenue from "CI," which I suspect in the end will be far from the only show to see cuts.

"CI" also I believe had higher production costs than most USA Network shows, and coupled with Chris M. and Mariska being paid (from what I've read) $400,000 an episode each to remain on "SVU" and NBC's severely declining ratings all over the place, I suspect the move to cut VDO and KE's salaries were a pre-emptive strike against a bunch of financial red ink that may be about to hit NBC and USA Network shows in general.

KellyK
Sorry, all, I'm still working on the addresses, email, phone numbers, etc. I went through and grabbed them all (up to page 34 or 35 I think) and now I am deleting the many duplicates. I'll post when I'm finished just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still at it. The later it gets the slower I get. biggrin.gif
Allison75
Hi! I'm new here, I joined this week after I heard the news about VDO leaving.

I just spent 2 hours reading all of the posts since Thursday morning. I just wanted to say I am glad people seem to be steering away from the drama. It seems like most of us do just want to get along, get united, and put our energy into this campaign to save our show.

I don't have the $$$ to send Fluff, but I bought my postcard stamps today, and already mailed out a dozen, with more to come. I've been emailing, voicemailing (great idea to flood the switchboard! And I think it's working-when I told the operator where I wanted to be transferred, he seemed really annoyed), and joining the other message boards just in case.

This community has mobilized quickly and passionately, and I'm glad to be a part of it!

Okay, I'm finally done or at least done for the day. Before I post it I just wanna say I know there are some errors and I think a couple of the links may be wrong because of the way I grabbed them from the board so please just tell me what errors you see or come across and I'll edit it. I just wanted you all to know that I didn't intentionally butcher anything. It just got late on me really fast and I got tired. I wanted to get it up tonight though before everyone jumps on the board in the morning. But I worked hard to try to get it all straight and I think I left a couple things out too because I thought they were duplicates. Just let me know what to add or fix as you see it. Thanks! And Go Get 'Em! smile.gif

We need some press coverage on this and below are some of the people that we can email with details about the Fluff and our Campaign:

National Public Radio
Neal Conan
Host of it's daily call-in show Talk of the Nation
Big L&O fan.
He's had Rene Balcer on the show more than once and recently did an hour with Sam Waterston on the mothership's 20th season.
His executive producer is Sue Goodwin
sgoodwin@npr.org
We can write and (mentioning the October 16th start to filming the S9 season opener as a hook) suggest a segment on this mass firing of great iconic characters from the "Characters Welcome" network. Maybe the show will bring back Rene Balcer for that segment. Since Balcer isn't directly involved but is the creator of LOCI, he would be a good guest -- able to talk about USA's decisions in a frank way.
But we really do need to move on this.

If you're willing to purchase a full case, go to

www.buythecase.net
One case is $27.48 + $4.99 handling.
THERE IS NO SHIPPING FEE!
They also did not charge me any sales tax (sending from Maryland to New York)
So one case = $27.48 + $4.99 = $32.47
They will certainly send the Fluff to a food bank.
You can also send a 5 line personal message to be affixed to the outside of the carton (35 characters per line).

Fluff Donation to Our Cause:

We have an anonymous donor (bless their little handcuffs) who has DELIGHTFULLY offered to send
10 cases (12 to a case) of Marshmallow Fluff to USA Network on behalf of members of the CI-US board.

Members who want to participate can post their names on the site; members who don't want any part of it will therefore not be represented.

Real names (and city and state) would be more helpful than cyber-IDs but if people don't want to reveal their real world identities that's okay too. Members should feel free to suggest a one line message to USA and all thoughts will be summarized.

This donor will not include any negative message specifically about Jeff Goldblum.

The donor will time the Marshmallow Fluff delivery to USA network to coincide with the initial shooting date in New York of the Season 9 CI premiere episode. (October 16th). (good hook for press.)

People here and on other sites should be encouraged to send additional Fluff to the same USA network person

VinneVidiVici_2009 THE FLUFFMEISTER HAS COME OUT OF LURKDOM AND IS HERE TO SHOW SUPPORT! Thank You!!!!!

Some Words from The Fluffmeister:

If you're going to send anything to anybody send it to Jeff Wachtel...he's the money guy at USA Network. Bonnie Hammer has moved up a level in the hierarchy to oversee more of the NBC-Universal cable business. She can be influential but USA is not her baby anymore.

You can bug the PR people too but it's Wachtel you need to target.

D'Onofrio's with United Talent Agency...his agent is the same as William Peterson's & Johnny Depp's. I think Erbe is with Endeavor which has become William Morris Endeavor Entertainment. I forget who reps Bogosian but you can send messages of support to him via his assistant who hangs out on Twitter http://twitter.com.bogosiana

I love Jeff Goldblum but there's no way he can single-handedly save GE or produce the kind of killer ratings the show needs to survive. I want to watch Criminal Intent, sure, but the only reason why I would do so is to figure out who advertises on it and let them know I'm shifting my business to their competitors...so for example if Wal-Mart runs an ad on the show I write the folks at Wal-Mart & let them know I'm going to be shopping Target & K-Mart & other discounters because they're sponsoring USA Network's bonehead manuevers. I also write Target & K-Mart & let em know they just got my business, the reason why & warn them not to advertise on CI or any other USA show until this kind of crap stops.

Another option is postcards to Jeff Immelt of GE (the really big boss) He's in Connecticut. Forth option is very political but I won't get into it here...(hint GE Capital got itself $97 billion dollars into debt issuing store brand credit cards to Lowes Wal-Mart & others, they were bailed out last year at the same time Lehman Brothers failed & fed government made them a bank & gave them $128 billion of taxpayer money).

Wow! Thanks Kelly! It's great to have it all in one place. I've been printing out the postcards that Quietfireca made, as well as the one Kayne made...it was Kayne, right? "Stuff your fluff!" My brain is fried. Here is the postcard size picture of the one in my signature, also provided by Quietfireca. If anyone wants to use it, be my guest. I included Ross in mine because I think EB got a raw deal in all of this as well.

I just went and registered there - waiting for a mod to approve my account. I will be Outerbankschick over there, too. smile.gif

And in case anyone wants to use my "Stuff Your Fluff" postcard (I think CI did! Woohoo!) I'll post it here so it's on a more recent page. And a HUGE THANK YOU to KellyK for putting all that info in one post! AWESOME JOB!

Outerbankschick
Hey y'all! (My best Paula Deen - which my sister says I've got down pat!)

Time for a little encouragment...and yes...cheerleading!

YOU GUYS ROCK!

I'm about to get ready to go out and have a walk in my favorite place to walk (okay, besides the beach! - but VA Beach is a little further and more gas!) - So I'm headed up to Colonial Williamsburg to have a walk in the sunshine and enjoy autumn in the South. I'd encourage everyone to remember to take care of yourselves while we continue this fight. We've got to keep our spirits up, and keep our momentum, but we can't neglect ourselves. A lot of you probably have family obligations, too, and since we all feel so passionately about this cause, "offline life" and "online life" can wear us down.

So remember to take some "me" time today. Take a walk, a soak in the tub, some time to read, listen to music, play with your kids, your dog, your cat (if he/she will cooperate! You know cats!). Take some time to just BE!

And then come back refreshed and flood those dopes at the network with your postcards, emails, fluff, cotton balls - whatever you want! Again, thanks to KellyK for that comprehensive listing. As the thread continues to grow, we can periodically re-post that list so it's always close at hand.

WOOHOO Y'ALL!!

Off for my walk now! smile.gif

Before I go out for my walk, here is Saturday's Hit List. Let's keep this thing going folks. We need to be in this for the long haul. smile.gif

The following is Saturday's hit list. Remember quantity is just as important as the quality of our messages.

Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood - http://www.deadline.com/tip-line/
or e-mail her at nikki@deadline.com

emails to:

bonnie.hammer@nbcuni.com

jeff.gaspin@nbcuni.com

andrea.epstein@nbcuni.com

Lynn Weiss, +1-818-777-6682, lynn.weiss@nbcuni.com

Farrah Hersh, +1-212-664-4137, farrah.hersh@nbcuni.com

And of course
Send your postcards (more than 1!) to
Bonnie Hammer
President
NBCU Cable Entertainment and Universal Cable Productions
3000 West Alameda Avenue
Burbank, CA 91523-0002

Some suggestions to write about:

To Nikki Fink : Send her a tip about the campaign and include the new blogspot:
http://savinggorenandeamesnow.blogspot.com/

To everyone listed at NBCUNI: Let them know how upset and unhappy we are with their decision to let VDO & KE go and ask them to reconsider.

On Postcards: Again, let Ms. Hammer know just how upset and unhappy we are! Ask her to reconsider.

Okay - I am back....SOMEONE won't stop emailing me so....here I am.

So - here is my opinion for you to ignore and send more hate mail about - but I am going to give it anyway.

Pick ONE blog and ONE blog only as your official. Too many blogs confuse people. You MUST have a central spot - this is NOT it. Not only do a lot of people not want to be here but you have to sift through too much BS to find what you need.

Keep opinions off your blog - other than the obvious one that USA made a mistake. Keep it information oriented.

Make a twitter account to coincide with your blog. Posts updates and info....make sure you send it to the LOCI twitter-tard over there.

Find ALL the twitters (is that a word) that you can where folks have posted ANYTHING about LOCI in the last week and direct them to your twitter account for updates....you need followers and lots of them.

Keep your twitter POSITIVE...don't call them Bubbles the Chimp...that was from my personal twitter.

Find out who has been blocked and keep a tab of "Blocked by Bubbles" (or whatever) on your blog to show how USA is tuning out fans. They are the #1 cable show - if they can't handle a few pissed fans....they need to get new jobs.

Put a feed on your blog to your twitter page.

Search for ANY article about the cast changes and plug your blog and twitter page.

Contact the facebook page owner and work with her to pump her page and to get her to post you info. on her facebook page and vice versa.

Make 3 weekly hits lists - "Monday Morning Wake Up Call" - thats when you call....Hump Day Hooray....Friday Feedback...whatever you want to call them but get THREE BIG PUSHES.

Find someone in New York that is on your campaign. Have the fluff sent to that person. When they get a lot - have them call the media to make the big drop. Trickles of fluff is useless.

Make a youtube video about the fans - find a fandom slog that says something about Goren and Eames together and have your fans repeat that ....but it all together and post it on your blog and send links everywhere.

GET UP A WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The blogs are functional but if you are going to go long term you need a website to function on its own. You don't have to leave here....you can be in more sites than ONE but you need an official web site.

The bloggers are bored with this already. They have moved back to screen shots of VDO's crouch....you have to re-energize your base. THEY spread the word fast - you need them.

STOP HARASSING HIS SISTER. It makes you look desperate, pathetic and its inappropriate.

lol! Never did do screen shots of what you mention! lol! unsure.gif
Glad to see you cracking the whip!

Have Infininty Star update the WIKI with ONLY the official blog - take down mine put up the new.

She also needs to go back to the IMBD pages and fix those for the new info.

There are fan groups all over the net and on facebook and myspace - FIND THEM.

Post links to your blog.

FOCUS on your blog. You can add the other links to your blog as time goes by.

Stop wasting all your time on cute pictures....you need ACTION.

Stick with the two original postcards. They weren't offensive, just supportive.

Do not bash JG - while he annoys me because he looks and acts EXACTLY like a high school boyfriend on mine (who is now an actor...go figure) and it pains me to watch him....LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS.

You want to SUPPORT the actors - focus on positive. Fight USA with real stats.....the show will flop, NBC is dying, why are they pissing on their fans...etc.

Anyplace you find a mention of VDO and KE...post a link to your site.

DO NOT FOGET THE KE FANS. There are groups and message boards out there dedicated to her. She has a lot of support because of her Muttigrees campaign. She is VERY well liked and respected - don't push her to the back.

YOU NEED ACTION.

Not you my dear but look at the other bloggers...they are getting bored and focusing on "other topics".

Wasn't directed at you....there are a lot of blogs out there.

Anywhere you post...on ANY topic - put a link to the new blog.

Good ideas Charley. Go Team Go!

Set up teams to focus on certain areas...

You have to ORGANIZE. Its not about ego or whose blog gets the attention - its about attention for the cause.

If you get the info. out there...fans will spread it for you.

You have to make BIG pushes...all at once. One email or once case of fluff is easy to ignore.

You HAVE to change up your emails. I am telling you - they are blocking you. Look at my twitter - now I am no longer a pain in their @ss.

Okay...gotta go do payday running....be back tonight.

Sorry about my siggie...I will change it tonight.

Thanks for the USA/NBC phone number. I just left my comment about how unhappy I am with their decision. I truly hope someone is listening out there. Sometimes I feel like I'm screaming into thin air.

Just got a brochure in the mail from The Paley Center for Media (in New York City) today. They're having an event called "Law & Order: Twenty Years and Counting" on Monday November 20th at 6:30pm, where Dick Wolf and members of the Mothership cast (past and present, I assume) are going to be speaking. Here is the link for more info: Paley Center for Media - L&O.

I'm not in any way advocating "crashing the party" wink.gif , but I just thought it would be an interesting way to get access to/the attention of L&O people. This is not a Criminal Intent event, so I don't know if they're even taking questions from the audience or what they would allow that's not about the Mothership. I'm considering going just to listen and be a part of the event if I could scrounge up the $25 in time (us unemployed college grads gotta eat! hahaha biggrin.gif ). Maybe I can make a t-shirt that says "Save Goren & Eames" laugh.gif That way I can make a statement without opening my mouth wink.gif (passive aggressive much? haha)

Just started a Twitter list on the blog. If you want to be added to the list, send me your twitter name! It will make it easier to find and see other related tweets. (unless there is already a big list elsewhere - can someone enlighten me if so? Thanks!)

Maybe we can organize a Twitter campaign.
Here is my latest:

Wow.

Okay, I know I have been intermitten with my posts here...work is a bear, but when you own the businesses you have to be there and in this economy, saving payroll by working the extra time yourself is a necessary evil.
That being said...I have tried to stay up to the minute, I say tried because there is no way I can read all this in the limited spare time I have available right now.
I can see a lot of varied opinions and a lot of ideas.
JMO:
1) This being put out there to anyone who thought it a good idea to involve others in the issues and only to those people who did such things. To bother Vince's sister, or any of his family, is stupid as hell. Would you want someone contacting your family...especially a complete stranger! and bugging them about what YOU are doing in your life?? Please be sensible and leave their families out of the "war".
2) Staying put and making your voice heard seems like a more obvious plan to me. Big groups make more of a point than scattered little groups. Putting your opinion and thoughts into blogs, postcard, fluff and all that seems like a good idea too. I sent a few emails myself...posted on twitter, blogs, facebook, myspace...everywhere I have accounts and time to get to them.
I used to really like E.R. Then they decided to cut out certain characters, bring in new people, end a few more old ones...bring in more new ones. It was an endless thing and I stopped watching because it annoyed the hell out of me and I did not want to sit there and try to play catch up every week. I watch tv programs I like. I watch them to relax, get away from my own stress and issues, to unwind and engage my brain in other things. I watch LOCI because I like the stories and the way the actors put it all together. As I said on FB. LOCI is the thinking man's program, to me. My biggest question...did THEY want to leave? Period. If this is their decision, then it is their choice. I follow Eric (well, his assistant I guess) on myspace and twitter...he seems a busy man, what with his books and his readings. Kathryn also seems busy with her animal welfare issues. Vincent has the baby and the rest of his family....he has been working on several movies....that is all a lot on all of their plates. So. Do we really know if this was their choice? I am all for making a stink if they were pushed to the edge and given no choices. But, to me, if they wanted to take this as a time to move on with their lives...who am I to tell them no? Who am I to bitch about their choices? If they were all plumbers who suddenly decided to move on to accounting...would I be fussing about it? Granted...I am hugely hooked on VDO, that has not changed. I am just saying that, while I am confused, a bit angry and sad, totally bummed about the show and I do support all of the friends I made here (whatever their statements be) I don't want to harrass these people if it is their decision to be done with LOCI. I do know how stories work. Gossip changes simple statements into dinosaurs being reborn on your doorstep. Also, from what I have seen Vincent is a private person. Yes. He does seem to enjoy his fans. But. He has said many times, interviews are not his thing. So, to me, his not making a big fuss publically isn't a big indicator. I guess, unless the man said it directly to me that he was forced out...then I have no clue what really happened and am not really into jumping up and down and passing on things I am unsure about. I am a taurus, trust me...I can be stubborn and pushy and stand for what I believe in just as well as the next person. LOCI may have started out as just a tv show to me and maybe to others as well. I enjoyed VDO's movies and such well before LOCI...and I have seen Erbe in movies and liked her there too. LOCI just gave me a place to put it all together. To watch the actors take on the characters skins...to follow as they grew, learned from each other...and solved the crimes. But. You can only do one thing for so long. I have stopped doing things over the years, that I once loved...but then could go no farhter with and didn't feel it was fulfilling anything inside me anymore. So, I moved on to new things. If this is the case with Eric, Vince and Kathryn...then I support them 100%. I do hate to see them go and I WILL miss them on the show, if they do leave. I hope to be able to follow them as they move on. I was honored as a Fan of the Week for LOCI. I am still a fan...just a bit more saddened by this news. I want to say that I agree with a lot of different opinions posted. I am not sure how I can agree to the different opinions, but I do. My friends here are more than just words typed on a screen by strangers. You have supported me, laughed with me, prayed for me...and become part of my life now. I don't want to see everyone at each others throats...that only helps split everyone up. I like being a part of this board. I like the show. I like the actors. I still "thud" over Vincent. smile.gif

WORD, KT! (How are ya, by the way? How's Macy?)

I've been super busy with work and stuff lately, too, and while I've been trying to keep up, I haven't been able to figure out all the facts, so I'm hesitant to come down hard with a position. I can honestly say that, whatever the reason for their departure, I wish VDO, Kathryn, and Eric all the best and I hope we get to see them in new and interesting roles very soon in the future, and I'll very much look forward to seeing "Bobby" guest visits on LOCI. VDO was what drew me to LOCI in the first place, and I have enjoyed his and Kathryn's work immensely from the very first episode. Their departure will leave a void. Will I keep watching? Maybe. It won't be the same, but if the stories are high quality (still a thinking-person's show), and I have VDO guest appearances to look forward to, then I'll probably hang in there at least for a little while.

For me, Robert O. Goren will be one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, and I'm grateful to VDO for bringing him to life!

I BELIEVE THE REASONS THAT VINCENT DIDN'T RENEW HIS CONTRACT WAS THAT THE OFFER WAS LAUGHABLE, THE SCRIPTS WERE UNINSPIRING FOR A HIGH-CALIBERED ACTOR SUCH AS HE AND THE CONTINUITY ISSUES WERE FRUSTRATING. ALL OF THESE FACTORS AND OTHERS MAY HAVE BEEN HIS "OUT". BUT, IN THE PAST SUCH PERFORMANCES IN "ED WOOD" LEFT HIM WITH A FEELING OF NOT HAVING BEEN UP TO HIS TRUE POTENTIAL AND DISAPPOINTING TIM BURTON, SO, I AM JUST WONDERING IF A 2-BIT PREMIERE WILL BE SATISFYING AS AN ENDING OR WILL IT BE A QUICK "LET'S GET THIS OVER WITH" TYPE OF THING. GIVEN THAT NBCU IS IN THE THROES OF BEING OVERTAKEN BY COMCAST MAYBE THEY ARE CLEANING UP SHOP BY PRESENTING THEMSELVES WITH A MORE STREAMLINED COST EFFECTIVE ROSTER AND PACKAGE. NO ONE BEGRUDGES ANY ONE OF THEM THE OPPORTUNITIES TO SPREAD THEIR WINGS AND SOAR ONTO GREATER THINGS, BUT, THE MANNER IN WHICH ALL OF THIS HAS COME DOWN, AND THE LENGTHY TIME TO DO SO, CASTS DOUBTS ON ALL OF US AS TO WHAT THE REAL MOTIVE WAS BEHIND IT. KATIE HASN'T DONE MUCH OUTSIDE OF LOCI AND I WONDER IF SHE WANTED TO STAY OR IS SHE BEING LOYAL TO HER FELLOW ACTORS; WAS THE SALARY OFFERED LAUGHABLE TOO? I SUPPORT THEM 100% TOO, AND I WILL FORGE AHEAD WITH MY BLOG SITE FOR VINCENT FOLLOWING EVERYTHING THAT IS TO COME NEXT. I GUESS IN THE END IT'S A MATTER OF SHOWING OUR SUPPORT AS LOYAL FANS, AND TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WE CARE NO MATTER WHAT THE DECISIONS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS MIGHT HAVE BEEN, TO NOT HAVE THEM LEAVE ON THEIR LAST DAY ALONE, THAT NO ONE APPRECIATED ALL THE YEARS OF ENJOYMENT, THAT WE FOUGHT WITH GOOD INTENTIONS...JUST TO GIVE THEM A WELL-EARNED PAT ON THE BACK.

I am doing pretty well. Having some issues with my bad back and my knees, but overall pretty good. Macy is okay as well. Still the big lovable beast she always is. Emma, our lone dachshund now, is okay too, although I believe she still misses our Poochie girl. We are considering trying to adopt another doxie, possily a rescue one, although I am really shocked by the fees involved in resucing a dog who just needs a new loving home. It would actually be less expensive to go out and buy a new doxie puppy!

I wish the actors well too. I am grateful for the time they put into LOCI and the years of program I have enjoyed. Like the coffee commercial says "Good to the Last Drop". It will not be the same program without them. I will really miss them, even if they really are complete strangers. The show has made an impact on my life...so too have the actors who portray the characters on the show. As strange as that may sound. it is true.
I have been following Vincent's career long before LOCI...he is what drew me to the program to start with. He is the reason I continued to watch, even when they had to cut his episodes down due to health issues (if that was the reason). I DO support Vincent, Kathryn and Eric. I want to be counted as one among many who will stand up for them. I will miss them. But, if this was their choice....I do also support that. If the network forced them out, then they will surely learn in the long run that it was NOT a cost effective decision. They will surely lose many viewers and the support that WE offer, be it by watching their programs or by purchasing the products that their advertisers provide. It will certainly come back to bite them on the a$$. I have been here since Day one...episode One. I have supported the actors, supported the writers, contributed to the causes: the lunch for the actors, the cakes for them, the help in the library funds and all the other issues that arose. I was honored Fan of the Week. I am still proud of that...not for the network, but that I was able to publically show my support for the actors of the show. I will follow whatever path the actors choose to take next, to the best of my ability. I support whatever my friends here decide to do. I hope to stay in touch with everyone here. I will continue to come here and read and post as I can. Hugs to all...actors and friends!

i think i may be able to send a jar of marshmellow fluff now. smile.gif

I would've had the money for it already (and not had to take it out of my paycheck mad.gif ) if my mother didn't

A: use my gym bag, which had VERY stinky shoes in them as a shopping bag, and take everything out

And B:
While taking everything out, TAKE MY 4 DOLLARS!

i have like 4 dollars in store credit...and since- well I- I needed those 4 dollars along with my credit to buy my thing of marshmellow fluff.

I'm so mad she took my money. mad.gif

But i guesss it'll still get done. smile.gif

Way to go, Kerli!

KimT, it's good to see you! I think that most of us would stop this immediately if we had any verifiable information that leaving was the actors' ideas. VDO put out a statement that he will be working on other projects and knows the show will be in good hands. But it stops short of saying he just doesn't want to do the show anymore and feels it's time to move on. It reads more like a very tactful statement that does not place blame anywhere. And what is even more telling to me is the complete silence of KE and EB. Somewhere here is a link to an article by a journalist who tried to contact KE or her publicist and got only a "No comment". No one wants to try to force them or guilt them into staying. If they truly want to leave, I think most of us would wish them well and start consoling one another. And if they want to leave, I for one would happily go on watching the show...I love JG and I have loved Nichols this past season.

But the indications are that, if it was their "choice" to leave, it was a choice of lesser evils....Only the people involved in the negotiations know the facts. But if they were forced out, either because of money or because USA wants a "lighter" tone...then it just ticks me off that these three amazing, hardworking actors would be treated so disrespectfully. If I find out that I've been wrong all this time, I"ll wipe the egg off my face, pull my foot out of my mouth, and head over to USA to watch LOCI, Psych, IPS, et al.
