Ok fellow writers of FF. Now that the worst case scenario has panned out and VDO and KE and EB are leaving LOCI. How would you send them out?

Show USA how it should be done!

Well, I like Judy's idea that they all three go off together on some elite task force. Or Sara's suggestion that they all go to Staten Island for the new Law and Order Staten Island.

How about the Chief of Detectives meets with some horribly painful end (OK, or he could just retire) and Ross is made COD's? As for Goren and Eames...I don't know. They have to stay together (in a totally partner/friends/nonshippy way of course ). But I don't have any ideas right now. Maybe when the shock and grief have worn off a bit.

In my own fanfic I am following the seasons and trying to stay within the canon of the show as much as possible. So I'll have to wait and see how they write them out to decide what I will do. Besides crying, that is.

Thanks ciaddict - that idea sort of popped into my head and the possibilities would be endless, if only for our fanfic writers vivid imaginations. Also, we could have Goren & Eames fed up with the NYPD politics and decide to retire - possibly form Major Case Detective Agency and hiring on Logan, Wheeler and Deakins! Ross could become the new COD's, since we know he's interested in further his career with the force and then he can send the 'serious' cases to them to handle since LOCI is going to be more lighthearted, per the articles we've seen...

No riding off into the sunset, married or dating, though, please. I'd rather the writers leave us to form our own opinions on what happens to Goren and Eames personally - as I said earlier. That way the shippers could happily ship them and we noromos could picture their futures with others of our own imaginations...

OK, I'm off to my own 'major case' shortly - wrangling a set of 5 year old twins, a dog, my sister, a sleep deprived son and whatever else the weekend throws my way. I hope I can check in for more developments and updates but if I'm MIA too long, please send Goren and Eames to find me, OK?

hey, depending on how they have them leave, I might really write my first fanfiction, L&O: Staten Island - The Land of the Acquired Tastes. Gotta think about it... I love Judy's idea of bringing back the others too, LOL...

OK, OK, OK! Total fluff moment. I know how the shippers would like it to end. I still don't know what I would like to see as far as G/E jobs...I can't imagine them doing anything else right now. But on a personal level....

I would like to see Bobby realize his love for and marry Mike the Ballistics Babe. And have lots of babies...well, at least one.
I would like for Alex and Peter to get together...and yes, have babies.
I still want Ross to become CODs and for him and Rodgers to make their relationship public...babies optional.

Hey...if USA is looking for lighter, fluffier "drama"...that's the fluff I want to see.

Can I just add that, whatever the writers decide, I would only hope for one thing? No matter what happens, I would like to not only see an ending respectful of all three characters and actors, but an end that would leave ALL viewers satisfied. I posted this previously, but it would be nice to have an ending that allows us all to believe what we chose - Goren and Eames remain partners in another area (task force, new squad, etc.) or move along separately (if they choose) but they are not linked in any way romantically or not. Let us to see what we want - just as we do now. That way we all win and no one is disappointed... Just a thought. I just want all of the fans to be satisfied at the end of the Goren/Eames run on LOCI. And long may they live in our imaginations and fanfics...

Well i was planning on having B/A quit the NYPD anyhow... lol... So this kinda worked out. Of course i don't like bobby leaving... but still it works out.

except I don't think B/A in the show are going where they are in my story.

WORST CASE SCENERIO FOR WRITING B/A OFF:

Molly is actually bobby's daughter.

B/A have been dating for a while now...

Bobby finally reveals to alex that molly is his daughter, and they then all get together as a family and move to... seattle for instance.

or whereever the writers want them to go.

I am dreading this.

This would be worse then them just leaving! Or Bobby dying!
