I really want to see this series, but I don't want to spend $70 for a show that goes nowhere. As I understand it the show ends after season 4 leaving many unanswered questions. So my question is, is there a place in the series where I can stop watching it, and be provided with a decent end for the show, rather then watching it all the way to the end of the 4th season only to be totally disapointed by the things they failed to answer.

It dosn't end there.If you really interested in what happens after the season 4 finale you'll have to read about it. One book is already out,"Welcome to Promise City". The next will be out in October. So you need not stop watching any of the serie, you just have to change media.
