Just got back from seeing GAMER, the latest wildly implausible action sci-fi bloodbath from Brian Taylor, and I think THE best part in the whole movie (except perhaps for Michael C. Hall's random and totally awesome dance near the end) was when, out of the freaking blue, James Roday and Maggie Lawson showed up for approximately 30 seconds as somewhat bored newscasters discussing a recent worldwide hack.

I almost screamed... but I didn't want the other folks in the theater to call security over to drag away the crazy lady.

Who knew that Brian Taylor was a Psych fan??

I know this isn't "big news", but I had to tell SOMEONE, and y'all are probably the only people I know of who would find it at least mildly amusing.

Yeppers...it was noted on James Hottie Thread last week that they would be on the movie in cameos. How did you like that hair, huh!

Gus's second dad was in there as well as Michael Weston (Spencer on Burn Notice), the dude from Heroes and a few other cable folks.

I was not happy with the movie, but I did enjoy the Gerard Butler storyline. New screen caps from Gamer came out today...so hopefully JimmyJam and Maggie's pics will come out soon.

I really hope that scene with James and Maggie come up somewhere on youtube.

haha yeah i heard about their cameos on the james hottie thread, and thats literally the ONLY reason that my friend and i went to see the movie. i swear to god, when they showed that wideshot of the news station and i could hear maggies voice i was like "ITS COMING ITS COMING! SHUT UP SHUT UP!" ahaha and i swear to god i held my breath for the ...what, 3 minutes? ... that they were on screen. my heart was like pouding! wow i have no life.

haha if only because of those two, i loved that movie. as we were leaving my best friend asked "let me guess, now you are going to go out and buy this on dvd even though the only part that you cared about was 30 seconds of maggie/james?" .... i said yes. lol. it was a great psych-fix for my friday night! and all the way home, my friend and i were quoting our favorite line:

James: I think I just might piss myself.
Maggie: Mmm, that sounds like fun!

Thanks to a random browse on IMDB, I noticed that they are both in the movie, so I plan on seeing it this afternoon just to see them and Milo Ventimiglia, my other celeb crush, from Heroes and Gilmore Girls. When I saw both their names, I was spazzing out! I wonder if they're one of those actor couples who star in the same things with each other because this is the third thing they've done together (the first being an episode of Fear Itself).

I really want to see that scene!!! I also hope that it is somewhere on youtube

I thought the movie was insanely good.

Maggie and James' scene was wicked funny. I also think the guy who played Adam Hornstock was in this movie as well at the TV station with that talk show lady

haha. its not like there was a lot of screentime tho so thats probaly why. half the time they're on, its just a voiceover and u see MC Hall.

By the way, and this has nothing to do with James and Maggie, did anyone else love the dance near the end? It came out of frickin' nowhere, and I wanted to stand up and cheer for Michael C. Hall.

Though... it was apparently way too weird for a lot of the early reviewers. Personally, it was my second favorite moment (after James & Maggie, of course).

yeah thanks for the link! i was screaming so much (in my head of course) that the only parts i caught in theaters were the swear words. hahaha so it was nice to actually get to hear what they were saying.

That cameo is hilarious. Nuff said. I will not see that movie, it looks absolutely horrible in my opinion, but I enjoyed their little scene.

I agree completely. Just the minute preceding their cameo that I saw was terrible...

yeah when i went opening night, my friend and i were couting the number of people that walked out of the film.

there were 7. lol

it was really crude and inappropriate. like a guy was there with his 10 year old daughter (maybe shes a james fan? lol) but they left pretty quickly.
don't get me wrong... there were like, 3 good parts i can think of (jaggie's scene, mc hall's singing pinochhio, and some cool action stuff) but the rest was awful.
