Has anyone spot any bloopers in the show?

Right now, I'm rewatching 9 Lives and the part when they're in the car and the cat is riding shotgun, Shawn gives Gus the newspaper with the latest victim's picture on the front page, he says, "it's her" but his lips are not moving. And if you have an ear for it, you can tell that that line doesn't have the same echo as the rest of the dialogue in that scene. That line was obviously placed in afterward.

In Who You Gonna Call when Gus says "Enjoy your hepatitis." His lips aren't moving either.

My favorite so far is at the end of "65 Million Years Off" where Shawn is doing his big reveal. Watch behind him and you can clearly see Corbin Bernsen's head and purple shirt as he's sneaking around in the background before he actually enters the scene.

hahaha! really?

also, in that episode after they're disgusting from the leaf blower, they're on the floor of the psych office in the same exact clothes but they're perfectly clean! it bothers me...

From many a commentary viewings, all I can think about in that scene is the "post-coital positioning" (as it is called in the commentary, though I can't recall *who* says that...)
Iamthedrummer24
In "Disco Didn't Die, It was Murdered," when Gus is driving his Mercury all cool and stuff and they are chasing those people the hubcab flies off but in the next shot its back on...Which I wonder if they did on purpose cuz bloopers like that always happened in old 1970s movies like that...

There are quite a lot of these, but in Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead, when they are chasing the mummy in the van and it crashes into a tree, Gus' first line is out of synch with his lips.

Edit - As a response to Texaschick, I got this

Someone remind me to get an HD version of it.

i don't know if it's a blooper or not but in nine lives it has allways bothered me when lassiter confronts the guy at the phone office and I forget what he says but the eye liner guy goes " this crap..is all I listen to." lassie didn't say crap before but I think it would of sounded so much better if he did!

I think he says junk

Yeah, I noticed it too! I must check out the rest. Thanks guys.
I think it makes rewatching even more interesting to look out for these. We get into shawn's character and be the psychic.
Actually I noticed this one only recently. It's not so clear, so I got a few screen shots.

Can you spot the cameraman? smile.gif

Yep, in Nine Lives... at the beginning of the ep (when James is eating the piece of broccoli going to the crime scene), a bus with a giant flag passes... though I thought it was the British flag (Union Jack)... they mention it in the commentary.

Actually, many of the bloopers here they mention in the commentaries. LOL. Not exactly shy about pointing out their own flubs. biggrin.gif

Which is exactly why I adore the commentaries... on Psych even more so than any other show.

I have to laugh, because in the "Bad, Bad Thing" commentary, someone jokes about how having as many people as possible make for 'awesome' commentaries. It was said sarcastically (given the 8 people on that commentary)... but I'd actually agree! It's my new favorite commentary (and has been since season 3 came out).

u sure its not ur favorite just cause tim is in it? wink.gif

I couldn't agree more! I've watched some commentaries of other shows where there are like 5 minutes without talking. On Psych commentaries everyone is practically talking at the same time laugh.gif The more people the better!! I love hearing about all the mistakes and behind the scenes stuff that they mention but my favorite part of the commentaries is listening to them talk to eachother and laugh!! Nothing is more entertaining than listening to them laugh at their own work tongue.gif

Also, Lassie did a Bad, Bad Thing is one of my favorite episodes and commentaries

I'll be honest, that's probably part of it... but even so, it's just a hilarious commentary with so much going on (from Doritos bags to water bottle caps to disturbing jokes about Tim's squib (sternum bush) to the police dogs in the station to the snack discussion and I think there's also something about balls in there...). Tim's the icing on the cake in there though...

I would recommend listening to all the commentaries with James and Dulé in them. They are always the funniest laugh.gif If you havn't listened to the commentary for 65 Million Years Off, then you really should. It's hilarious and one of my favorites!!

In the commentary for And Down the Stretch Comes Murder the point out that at the race track theres a sign that says something about British Columbia.

and in Truer Lies in the survailence tape, I think it's really obvious that he's running away from some one. and you can clearly start to see the shadow of the guy chasing him.
