I thought that maybe I should make a master thread for all of my scripts after I wrote the first one, but I didn't because I thought I would be getting ahead of myself. A member contacted me recently and suggested that I should go ahead and make one now, so I thought I might as well do so.

Please note that I own all rights to all scripts (except for the characters, of course). I have registered the scripts and therefore I am the sole owner of each of them. They may not be used, duplicated, sold, edited, or ANYTHING short of read by anyone at anytime.

That being said, please enjoy! I would also appreciate feedback. Feedback may go in its appropriate topic, or here in this thread. If you choose to provide feedback in this topic, please state which script you are giving feedback for.

Planes, Trains, and Elevators - Shawn, Juliet, and Abigail are trapped in an elevator together and are forced to spend a good deal of time together. Meanwhile, Gus takes on a case of his own, acting as psychic in Shawn's stead. Thread | Script

Shawn Meets the Terminator - Shawn is asked to assist on a case when somebody kills a woman by the name of Sarah Connor. Thread | Script

Fairewell, My Lady - Shawn goes undercover at a Renaissance Faire, and gets himself into a sword fight, an archery match, and even a jousting tournament, all while solving several murders. Thread | Script

Brr! Is It Just Me, or Is This Case Cold? (in progress) - Shawn sets out to solve a crime that occurred 100 years ago. Thread | Teaser

Oh, Brother... - Shawn discovers that he has a brother. Nuff said. Script

Gus, Don't Be a Serial Killer - Shawn goes up against a group of serial killers. Script

Just a random question, but what do you mean you registered the scripts? I'm not trying to pry or anything, I was just curious...

When one writes a script, in order to protect it from anybody doing anything to it but reading it, it needs to be registered at WGA, the Writers Guild of America. This way, somebody can get sued or be in trouble with the law if they abuse the author's rights.

Can you do that if you don't own the original characters and stuff? Sorry for all these questions, I just know absolutely nothing about writing laugh.gif

Yup. All I own are the stories. I don't own Psych or the characters, but I can register the script as my own.

The Teaser for Fairewell, My Lady is online!

Your first 2 scripts were awesome...one thing I would like to see more of is Henry. Maybe an episode Henry is accused of a crime or Shawn and Gus are away and Lassie, Jules and the Chief ask Henry for help and Shawn comes back halfway and is shocked that Henry is helping on a case...just throwing out ideas...I just wanna see more Henry! lol

I love Henry. I look forward to more of your scripts! The Terminator one still cracks me up to this day. Great job again.

I am DONE! "Fairewell, My Lady" is FINISHED!

Hey, thanks for writing these scripts. I'm guessing that you are doing this for fun, but it's keeping me busy (and sane, haha) inbetween episodes. I'm not much of a critic (I'm not comfortable telling people that they did bad) so I'm probably not very helpful with anything, but thanks anyway. I know that myself and a bunch of other people enjoy them. biggrin.gif

I've decided that I'm gonna actually try to get in touch with Psych's agents this week. Maybe I can get these episodes published after all.

Really? That would be awesome. I've only read "Planes, Trains, and Elevators," but from what I can tell, these would be great episodes. Very nice. I've been thinking about writing some episodes myself, I just can't think of many ideas and, more importantly, any 80's references to go along with them.

The poll is now open. You may vote if you have read two or more, but it is preferred that one reads all three.

If you feel so inclined (and this is also preferred), please post why your favorite script is your favorite in this thread.

So my intention was to take a break from writing for a while and focus on contacting the agents for Psych, but a fellow member contacted me, wanting to co-write a script with me. I thought the idea was interesting, though it will be hard to pull off correctly, so we're writing it now.

Premise: Shawn and Co. set out to solve a crime that occurred 100 years ago.

I've already finished the teaser, which you can find here: Teaser

I just read the teaser; it's really good! The whole suicide-turned-muuuuuurder is intreguing. However; why are they at a bank? Was the letter supposed to act as some kind of will? If so, why wasn't it with a lawyer? But... I'm only in high school... I don't know diddly about anything like that. C-=

Wow! Thank you so much for your supportive comments! Although, I would be mad if Planes, Trains, and Elevators became the series finale. I'd hate to see Shules never be resolved.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you like the Terminator script more than the Renaissance script? I would like to know, in order to make my scripts more enjoyable in the future.

1) this thread needs a bump. :-)
2) I'm sure you weren't addressing me, but I enjoyed the Terminator script because it placed a main character in harm's way-big time. I know that the Renaissance had the sword fight, but that wasn't a huge part of the script. A big chunk of Terminator was like "Oh noes, Jules is gonna die!" The- what's the word? Angst? Anxiety?- was overwhelming and really helped with the tone of the story. And the car chase was classic. And seeing Shawn get so freaked out at the end (when he thinks Jules is hurt) was amazing. C-=

Your welcome! I would be mad too if thats how the series ended but I could just see them doing that. lol

I like the Terminator script better cause its more of a thiller I guess, thats not the word Im looking for but... I really like all three but that one is just a little bit better. In the Renaissance script I really like how you had shawn put it all together... They are both very well written but like I said the Terminator is just a little bit better. I would of liked to see a bigger part for abigal in the Plane, trains and Elevaotrs though. just a little bit more invovlment, ya know?

In my family we have this thing called "calling it" or "psyched it". Where we guess whats going to happen in the show, whether it be who did it or how theis person is going to act stuff like that. The Terminator script would be great for that kind of thing, I guess thats why I like it better. We "call it" or "psych it" on almost every series we watch its alot of fun. We do that with Monk, Burn Notice, NCIS, Psych, and even the Mentalist. Yes, we do watch the Mentalist but Psych is way better. lol

I see what you mean. I just never liked Abigail because she's always between Shules, so I didn't bother to have her involved.

I love doing that, especially when I'm right (which, honestly, is most of the time, lol). But I love it even more when the screenwriters make it hard to figure out what's going on; that means they're doing their job exceedingly well. Although, when they don't make it hard, that can also be a good thing, because that means that they're spending more time focusing on character development and the such instead of the mystery.

What do you mean that the Terminator script would be great for it? Do you mean that it was easy to figure out, fun to figure out, or hard to figure out?

I mean fun and hard to figure out. My dad has ADHD and sees alot of things like shawn and hes usually the first one to guess at something and he usually gets it right. The record in my family for pysching it is 3 minutes in to the episode. My family is competative so ita contest every week, who can figure out whats going to happen its alot of fun lol

*sighs* My co-author is slower than I at writing scripts, and he's still writing Act I. As soon as I get it, I'll write Act II, and then he'll write Act III, etc. But he's taking much longer than I normally would, so at this point, I have no idea when we'll be done. However, I have several more ideas for Psych scripts, so I may write another while I'm waiting. Dunno yet.

Ok. Ive always had an interest in writing a book or even something like this so if you would like maybe sometime we could do a script together or something. Im much better at Ideas than actually lines so..
