Whooo!!! Yay! I'm off to read it now... (hopefully ;P) going to make up for the fact that *sniff* there is no Psych tonight! C-=

This was really interesting. I guessed who it was; but only because I always guess the ones who it least likely is... cuz I can. lol I really liked the way you presented it; no loose ends or unexplained events. Very clean-cut. Definately moments when I cracked up. Very good! C-= One question: where is Abigail? I think you explained this once; but I forgot and I'm not going to go look it up. x3 I know you are a Shules supporter (as am I), so does this have anything to do with that? In earlier ones you kind of explained where Abigail was... I don't know; I have reason to believe that this has been a particularly hard time for you, so it's no biggie. Just kind of confused me. But that's hardly a feat. lol

That's usually the first person I suspect in Monk/Psych/Mentalist/Castle/etc... episodes. lol

There are plenty of Psych episodes in which there is absolutely no mention of Abigail, so I didn't think it was absolutely necessary for me to explain her absence. Besides, the episodes that I've written after Planes, Trains, and Elevators generally take place post-Abigail. I think she's going to be leaving the show soon, anyway.

I want Abigail out of the picture too, but having her there makes a good story line and makes you want Shawn and Jules together even more (which could be a good or bad thing). But then if they do get together, the show is basically over...

Exactly, but out of several episodes so far this season, Abigail has only been in a couple. She isn't in every episode, and not even mentioned in most. I'm just keeping in tandem.

In any case, I'm pretty sure Cook is leaving the show soon, anyway.

Horribly. My co-author is taking forever for his share of acts, ideas, etc... I think I may just take over the entire script, or it might never get done.

However, that might have to wait. While I'm waiting, I'm thinking about writing another one called "Serial Killers!"

I'm having trouble naming my next script, guys. Basically, it's about a group of serial killers. That's really all I have planned for now.
Here are a few of which I've though:

How to Catch Serial Killers: For Morons
Serial Killers!
How to Catch a Serial Killer in Three Weeks or Less -- Guaranteed!
No Singing; No Dancing; Just Killing
Killing Time... and People
Die Hardish
Gus, Don't Be a Serial Killer

For me it can be only "Gus, Don't Be a Serial Killer". Love that title.

lol. I'm more patient than one would think, but it's annoying when your co-author promises to work on something, and then he says something on Facebook about having nothing to do at the moment and he still hasn't emailed you back. More is expected from a writer. But I'll keep waiting.

I don't know. I would like it to (I love the angst, and the way Jules [I think it was Jules] was going on like "By the time you woke up, you would have missed it... sounded like they would have been in danger), but with the whole shot in the dark eppy last fri, I don't know if it would be too close together, do you know what I mean? Well, it's too late for requests because I just finished the script! I'm really happy because it was in less than 24 hours, which is a first for me. However, I did have the "big-catch-the-bad-guy-in-a-cool-unpredicted-way-finale thing". Big time. And for those of you who liked "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark", you'll almost definitely like this, because it's another dramatic episode, with lots of suspense.

Please read, everybody!

I have read your scripts and have enjoyed them a lot. My favorite is Planes, Trains and Elevators, mostly because I am a huge Shules fan, but also because I like the idea of Gus having to solve a case on his own, which is a truly fresh idea for the show that has not really been explored as far as I have seen.

A close second is the Shawn Meets the Terminator script. Although, I read it awhile back and don't think that I have read the adjustments you made to the script that I've gathered from this thread. I'll try and give some more feedback after I have done that. I like it because it is in such sync with a story line that fits with the show. One thing I love about Psych is their endless references to other works from the 80's, and what bigger reference than the Terminator?!

Anyway, thanks on the signature. As a member of the veterinary world I feel that I must support Shawn's infatuation with Labradoodles and what better way to do that than with puppies!

However, I am still only in veterinary school, so I need to get back to my books before posting on Psych threads causes me to fail out and never let me become a vet in the first place.

Keep on writing Mr. Webb. I wish you the best of luck in getting in touch with the Psych people. And whatever happens, at the very least, you are letting Psych fans have another place to go and enjoy this remarkable show. Thanks again for the scripts.

I've always wanted to see the elevator situation and Gus solving a case by himself in the show, so I wrote the script. I really, really want to see it as an episode, but Abigail is leaving the show this season. I was really disappointed when I heard, 'cause I think the idea behind the script itself is golden. The awkwardness is just too irresistible.

I recommend reading the adjustments, because they give more Shawn to the script, and how he deals with the large man trying to kill him.

I finally read the new script and it has to be my favorite so far (It's tied with the Shawn's brother one, though).

I can't exactly give feedback right now, but this one did seem a little long. (But then again, there were like, what, 3 or so crimes involved? It almost has to be long.)

I can't exactly give feedback right now, but this one did seem a little long. (But then again, there were like, what, 3 or so crimes involved? It almost has to be long.)

It was longer than the others, by about four pages. It's because the scene at Gus' house was written in a time of confusion, and I wasn't sure how it was going to end. I was originally going to have Shawn be the target of the final murder, but the way I saw it happening in my head didn't work with the way I wanted Shawn to solve the case. So I wrote the scene at Gus' house as if Shawn would be the next target, so it's basically sitting in the middle of the script as an unnecessary filler scene. However, I didn't take it out because whenever an episode for a TV show is filmed, there are some scenes of a script taken out and some put in. I left it in so that if another scene was taken out, it could take its place, and vice versa.

That, and the scene where the killer is caught was written without restraint to length. I just wrote the scene in the best way possible, with what I thought was the right amount of drama, comedy, and suspense, not worrying about writing too much content.

I do have a question for my readers, by the way, concerning the three scenes at which a murder was planned by the killer. What did you think about each one, with regards to the drama, comedy, suspense, and execution? I felt that the actor references during the bomb defusal scene fit with the attitude of Psych, but it may be a little much, since they could have died. I felt that the phone call between Henry and Shawn fit perfectly, however. smile.gif

So I had an idea for a title just before I started "Gus, Don't Be a Serial Killer" that I immediately wrote down and got really excited about. I thought up idea that goes with the title a long time ago, but I've had so many scripts to write in the meantime that I didn't have time to pursue it. But when I thought of the title, it gave me a renewed interest in the idea, and I think I'll write the script. The idea is self-explanatory in the title, but I'll elaborate.

Title: The Spy Who Ditched Me

I know, right? The movie that the title references isn't from the 80's, I know, but I couldn't resist, and I think it's the perfect title for the script. The idea is basically Shawn finds out that the girl he dated a few years ago works for the CIA, and was undercover. Now, he horns in on her case and helps her solve it. I haven't started writing it yet, since I have a project I'm in the middle of (web site), but I'll get to it soon.
