"Planes, Trains, and Elevators" is the working title for the script I'm writing in which Shawn, Juliet, and Abigail are trapped in an elevator together. Note that this is a fan-made script. I do not have any sort of agreement or contract with USA/Psych. If it ever does end up as an episode, it will be because somebody from USA/Psych happens to see this and asks to use it.

Originally, it was just going to be Shawn and Jules trapped together, but I thought, "What's the fun in that?" I added Abigail for some extra conflict. What do you think? Should I take her out?

I'd also like some general feedback as to what you would like to see in this script.

Omg Let the awkwardness commence! That would be so funny. Personally I do not really like Abigail that much but it would be really funny.
On the other hand a lack of Abigail gives you more freedom to let shawn and Juliet talk about how they feel.
Either way I think it's a really good idea.

I hate Abigail, but the idea of all three of them stuck in an elevator together really gets to me in a funny way. I also considered a quiet time for Shawn and Juliet to talk, but the humor won over, and I threw Abigail in there.

I am thinking about, at one point, making Shawn choose whether to save Juliet or Abigail from certain death, adding an insane amount of conflict to the story.

What about Gus? Where's he? And why are they all alone in the elevator anyway. I can't really see Juliet, Shawn, and Abigail together without Gus or Lassiter. I vote for Planes, Trains, and Elevators as the title.

Right now, the premise is that Shawn and Abigail were on a date/out for a stroll, but Juliet calls Shawn and needs him to identify a suspect psychically before she arrests him. She needs him to do this because the suspect is a very important man, and if the SBPD is wrong, they could get sued. Lassiter is on a different assignment, but I'm going to make their cases intertwine.

Gus is... I don't know what he's doing yet. He's going to serve a role trying to get the elevator moving again. The idea is that the power went out, but Shawn finds out that the power outage was meant for him, to intentionally get him trapped in the elevator.

I like the idea. The awkwardness between having Abigail and Jules there would be hilarious. I think this would make a great episode, and I agree that "Planes, Trains, and Elevators" is a better title.

I was just thinking that maybe Gus and Lassiter could be working together, but that might be too weird. Unless Lassie called Gus to ask him and Shawn to come over at the same time that Jules calls Shawn. The he could say that he'll meet Gus and Lassie once he's done with Jules' thing, but then Shawn, Jules, and Abigail get stuck in the elevator. That's all I got.

I like the teaser, though I'd really love it if you added the "treat a woman like a person, then a princess, then a Greek Goddess, and then a person again" when Henry is talking to Shawn about girls. It would fit perfectly and be a great call-back.

I don't know how I forgot about that. I've got a question though. Was the Greek Goddess line used in a flashback before? I can't remember. I know it was used in the main body of the show, but I can't remember if it was in a flashback.

I don't think it was. It was in the Shawn (And Gus) of the Dead, wasn't it? The flashback in that episode was about Shawn being scared of monsters, right?

I don't even know what episode it was in. I just recently started watching Psych, and to catch up, I watched the entire three seasons of Psych in about three days, so matching quotes with episodes is not my strength as far as Psych goes.

But, I'll take your word for it, and I'll definitely put that quote in the flashback. Thanks so much for an awesome addition!

I'm so glad that you guys like this! I've written three books and a movie, but I've never really showed them to total strangers before, just family and friends. So I'm really glad to see a great response.

No, this is my first Psych script. However, I'll write another one as soon as I get an idea that I really like. I'm leaning toward Shawn going undercover as a magician. I know there's a Psych book that has magicians in it, but I don't know the premise and I haven't read it.
