last thursday im watching the new episode of, of course, royal pains and right after it ended i saw the trailer for the season finale, and of course im jumping off my couch excited but then i saw hank tell evan to fix somthing, like a problem and they are saying something about a betrayel, and i started wondering did evan do something!? tell me if anyones got any ideas?

I think Evan sent money to Hank and Evan's father. Either to help him out financiallly or for Evan to invest in maybe one of the father's schemes.

The promos are intentionally misleading so we'll just have to wait until Thursday. In the promo I did hear Hank say that a check bounced but I can't imagine Evan betraying Hank. But I've been wrong before

My guess is Evan is the one who puts his trust in someone who betrays them. Never trust USA promos.

Yes, the promo's are very tantalizing and then when you watch it...you're like what? That's not at all what I thought it was going to be.

It's all good though.

i know im afraid that evan might do something bad and all my love for him will go down in the drain i really hope it wasnt him cause i like him alot

I have a prediction that could go one of two ways and that's Divya's wedding.
1.) She decides she can't go through with it and sticks with HankMed or...
2.) Evan says something at the ceremony about them not being able to get married.
3.) Evan puts his trust into someone or something that puts HankMed in danger.
I'd laugh so hard if #2 happend!!!

The commercial for the finale is out of sequence. And I bet very misleading. We shall see. I do like the show a lot. A rich McGyver type thing. If they could tone down the soap opera love on/off affair though, it is distracting from the a show that could be fun. I just wish USA would tone down the thousands of commercials telling us that the final episode is on Thursday. I just watched Warehouse 13 and I think they had it on twice a commercial break. I am almost tempted to stop watching USA as much as possible until Thursday so I don't have to see it advertised a thousand more times.

For all you little girlies out there that want to take evan under your wings and cuddle him, how would you like to cuddle an octopus. evan proved his colors tonight, I hope whoever the father is kills his good for nothin, sorry, egotistical, lying backside.

OMG did you guess right tonight DQB! You have such a feel for this show! I was also disappointed that Divya didn't go with the "fantasy" thought about nuptials. I just know she'll be back next year; she's got more time to let the other shoe drop. I'm gonna have to jump into Psych and Monk in the interim..... did anyone else feel a little conned by all the cliffhangers? Everything is up in the air!

Um...trusting his dad makes him egotistical? Apparently you haven't had issues with your parents. My dad's burned me time and time again, but I continue to give him chance after chance. There's something about family that makes you want to trust them, and especially after what we discovered tonight, Evan was young enough where his father's betrayal may not have hit home in the same way it did Hank. His father used that to take advantage of his kid, which is incredibly sad and it makes me feel even closer to Evan's character because I've been there. He didn't just go blow the money on some stupid purchase or gamble it away - he was tricked out of it by his father, and knowing that coupled with Hank's reaction to the situation, he's probably feeling completely alone right now. So yeah, while I never said I wanted to "cuddle" him before, I do actually think he should get a big hug right now.

awwww ur daddy burned you like evan's father? thats sad im sorry that must be harsh but im with you, evan was probably too young to really get hurt by his father like hank did, and i think he thought that by doing this thier father would come back and everything would be happy, but it didn't turn out like that poor evan got hurt, i dont mean to take sides on anything or start a fight cause i dont like fights but thats just my opinion and chuckm_1 if thats wat you think then im ok with that cause i can see reason to both sides, cause evan did do something that he shouldnt and hank is now brought into this and i wish he would have thought about this before hand cause its not even his money but i still feel bad poopy....

As we now know Hank and Evan's father lost all their money in the stock market. Then their mom got sick and dad "Eddie R." left; Hank and Evan were 12 and 9 respectively. I have a feeling that Even was pretty close to his dad and when dad left it really hurt Evan.

So, here we are fast forward quite a few years later. Evan has been in touch sporadically over the years with their dad where as Hank doesn't want anything to do with "Eddie R." and unfortunately "Eddie R." does the same thing all over again....loses all of the money that Evan has invested....all of Hank's hard earned money.

Evan just wants his father to love him....yah the Evan character need to be toned down for Season 2 but he is still funny even when he is being spastic.

Remember, Evan is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) so he has the capability to buck it up and get through it if he would just use his head for more than a hat rack.
