I don't know about anyone else, but I for one am so excited for the new episode!! Sorry, but I don't have any spoilers or anything, but still! Friday will take forever to come lol!

I was wondering when someone would start this thread. I can't wait for this epi!! The scary episodes have always been some of my favorites!!

This was getting way too far down the page. Come on guys!! I was extremely excited from the moment I read about this episode. Why isn't anyone posting?!?!

I know, I am so pumped for this eppy!! *I have my own brand of spelling, lol* I'm hoping that it will be along the same lines as Tues. the 17th; you know, not scary per se, but more suspenseful. I'm excited to see the character's reactions-ecspecially Gus! You know how freaked out he gets about stuff!!! haha

I'm curious as to how they are going to make "The Excorcist" funny....this is gonna be a fun one

I've never seen the Exorcist; so I have no idea what to expect... but I know that they made "Fri. the 13th" more or less humorous... IDK, I hope this will be as good as that!

I am so excited for this episode! It has the devil from Reaper playing priest. That is so amazing. To bad I can't watch it until sundayd due to the fact that I will be out of town but I am still really excited.
I hope it's as good as the last episode. <3

yeah, that episode was amazing. And this episode is also gonna be VERY good. I´m really looking forward to this episode (I´m looking forward to all new Psych episodes xD). And It´s so cool that Ray Wise is guest starring, and that he plays a priest, that´s the exact opposite from what he plays in Reaper (The Devil), haha that´s gonna feel wierd xD lol

and I also really hope that u get to see more little girl screams from Shawn and Gus, ROFL, it´s hilarious every time!

I haven´t seen "The Exorcist" but since the episode is kinda like that movie, I just have to see it. So I´ll probably see it tonight!!

I know! Ecspecially the pool scene, and the floaties! I died... even tho there was no killer in my living room.

I watched The Exorcist and I am very interested as to how they are going to pay homage to it during the epi. Someone is going to have to make a list of all the references to The Exorcist in The Devil is in the Details...And in the Upstairs Bedroom. I vote Kristen(sarcasmlove) because she seems to be completely obsessed with The Exorcist and will most likely spot every reference. Plus, everyone already looks forward to her reviews

Gah, I am so excited. Psych is my salvation on Fridays. After a long, hard week of school, I just lay down on my bed with a root beer float and pineapples (I've done it for every Season 4 eppy so far), and laugh to my heart's content.

And this episode looks like it's going to be awesome! I love scary episodes!

Oh my gosh!! I new that they were having th spider-walk in the epsiode but i didn't expect it in the preview clip. They did a great job, it was actually creepy! I can't wait for tomorrow night! 1 more day!!!

Oh my God, the spider walk at the end was so creepy. So glad I'm not watching this episode alone. Last episode I watched after midnight... by myself... can't do that this time unless I want to spend the night on my parent's floor, lol. Stuff like that scares me to death!

But you know, if I did a spider walk like that I'd probably break my back.

lol, I can actually do a pretty good back bend, but that's where it ends! The walking part, that's cool!

Once I got over the whole "being creeped out" part...which I'm not totally yet...I had to watch that a few more times just to see how she's doing it.

OMG! I hate the spider walk! It reminds of The Unborn when the creepy old guy is posessed by like that devil and he's chasing that old lady and his head likes spin, that part is like so freakin scary! If you seen The Unborn y'all know what I'm talking about.

I watched The Exorcist tonight, and I'm glad I did. I am sooo excited for this episode now! And that preview just makes me giddy!

Well, so far it's hilarious. "Have you considered going to the Methodist church down the street?" Only Henry and Shawn could get kicked out of church.

HO-LY CRAP! I might have nightmares about that scene. I wont spoil it for anyone though.

Ok this episode is kinda scaring the bejesus outta me. Yet, I cant seem to look away.

This was the first episode I got my mom to watch, and she loved it. I was afraid the scary parts might turn her off, but she was fine . . . I was the one hiding my face in a pillow! And the confession at the end had her rolling. She grew up Catholic.

I must say, I appreciate that they treated Christianity pretty respectfully. (My family is Protestant now, so we're still in the fold.) You don't always see that on TV.

Yeah, that scene was freaky. But the orgasm thing. . .TRES awkward watching it with my family.

Some parts had me rolling with laughter. Henry OMG! That was awesome. And yay character development. . .that's one of the things Psych is always consistent with.

"Bum bum bum . . . wafers" LOL! I really enjoyed this episode. The right amount of comedy and scariness.

I am going to be singing "Boom Boom Boom...Muffins!" all week. The PTSD/Menstrual moment was freaking hillarious. Also did anyone notice the look on Lassis face after Jules nodded in agreement about women faking orgasms? Henry getting hooked on video games was fantastic! I can't wait 2 weeks for a new episode let alone a Lassie episode. Speaking of Lassie, Tim in that shirt(for next week)= heart palpitations!!

I missed that part with Juliet hmm. . .that's funny. XD Yeah, I know! TWO WEEKS! Psych was gonna get me through the first week of school but I'll just have to make it on my own I guess lol.

First and foremost, the first half of this episode scared the crap out of me because of amazing acting and writing. The girl (who by the way is young Eloise on Lost) was phenomenal as the "possessed" Lucy. And of course James and Dulé just seem to up their game every episode! And the writing was jaw-dropping. They never cease to amaze me and I don't know how they write such great twists and turns!
Here were a few of my favorite little things:
"Have you tried the methodist church down the road?"
"Bum bum bum, muffins!"
"I bet it was a labordoodle." "You know that's right" (I dont know just anything labordoodle gets me)
Stealing the title back from each other was awesome.
The whole finger guns? ridiculously priceless

Henry being obsessed with video games
And of course "bum bum bum Holy Ghost"

So this episode scared me but it was good. Plus, I get scared easily. Once again, great acting, great writing. I havent actually seen The Exorcist, and now that I've seen this episode I don't think I need to, but I could tell what things were straight references. It even had the Exorcist theme (I had my tv on captions and it actually said "Exorcist theme"). And the other references were great too. Linda Blair, Erin Brokovich, etc. I particularly loved the Devil Went Down to Georgia reference. Being a violinist who recently learned how to play that song, I appreciated it very much. Thank you writers.

This episode probably outscared Scary Sherry and Tuesday the 17th, which both scared me too. But this one takes the scary cake. It was thrilling, pants-crapping, and hilarious. You just don't see that anywhere else, and Psych really hit it out of the park. Though, I admit, it might take me a while to get to sleep tonight.

It was so worth watching The Exorcist for! My friends were calling me during commercials and they kept saying they were freaked out by it. But I was just thinking that it was ridiculously funny because I actually got all the references

I will be back with thoughts on the episode after rewatching it tomorrow.

I also loved Shawns line "I gotta go! Carson D is having Simon Baker on! Thats a can't miss"

The sub-plot with Henry and the video games was hilarious! When Gus came over... Shawn and Henry switched roles; he wanted to paint the house and Henry wanted to play games

"Kiss my sweet. . . love biscuits."

Juliet's look at Lasseter at the end was awesome. Apparently Lassie has never seen "When Harry Met Sally".

Next episode looks awesome too! This season is so great!

No way that was Ellie? Didn't even recognize her. Haha the cadillac thing made me cry with laughter. Everything you said is totally true. And go ahead and double post, I'm posting like every other post. XD

I loved this episode, everything about it. There were sooooo many great lines I can't begin to name them all.

Some awesome notes:

The cheek to cheek picture of Shawn and Gus! LOL!

All of the "bum, bum, bum" songs were awesome. "Bum, bum, bum hooooly ghost."

The Xbox gun in Henry's pants was a nice touch.

Any look of Shawn and Gus' when they peeked into the room was brilliantly done.

The whole Shawn disagreeing with Lassie, and him knowing who the right killer is after Lassie says what he thinks.

And Shawn's confession... "Bless me Father, for I have sinned. It has been... okay, carry the one...," omg, that was hilarious.
