CI Fan-made Season 9 2.0

This is a remake fan version of what I like to see happen in season 9. The last time I did this, I didn't have knowledge of Zach Nichols and Wheeler coming back, so that is why I need to this. There might be little surprises in store.

Episodes

9.01 Partners (G/E)

A fractured New York Times reporter, Ian Daniels, must put his career on the line when he covers up a murder from his ex friend/prison escapee, Tim Harden. When Detectives Goren and Eames suspect more than a cover up, they put their partnership to the next level when one of them is forced in a hostage situation and the other must unravel their hidden feelings.


9.02 The Naked Truth (N/W)

A controversial speaker is put in the crosshairs with Det. Nichols when a double homicide forces Major Case in a bubble, and the speaker is treated as the prime suspect. However, when the case takes a twist and the speaker's own family is caught in the middle. With the Russian mob in their sights, Nichols and Wheeler are going to have a hard time finding the suspect.


9.03 Chameleon (G/E)

Goren and Eames probe the death of a renowned physiologist and as they first suspected an accidental death, but the detectives are soon on the trail of a serial killer that change appearance after appearance. Goren is taken back to his past when he believes the role fit Nicole Wallace and that she is back, but other evidence points to another killer similar to her nature.


9.04 Hardball (N/W)

Nichols and Wheeler must treat a criminal court judge as a witness to watch when people close around her, first her husband, then her aunt, and soon her younger brother is suddenly and mysteriously dying one by one. They thought suspect its one of her enemies, but when she is track to become a Justice nominee for the U.S Supreme Court, her past is leaked to the media and they must investigate her career and her background to find the real killer.


9.05 Mother (G/E)

A group of streetwise kids are turned from witnesses to main suspects by the media when an ACS agent willingly to take care of the children is found brutally murdered. Detectives Goren and Eames doesn't suspect the kids at first, but as the case gets wider and wider they soon learn a overachiever ADA Trish Roth is acting as their "den mother" and will do whatever she can to protect her "children". As the perplexing case gets more unraveling, Goren and Eames must learn the psychology of the kids' lifestyle to understand why exactly are they being protected and from what.


9.06 Icon (N/W)

A young starlet, Lisa Bordereaux, waiting to get her moment under Broadway is found murdered two days before her first acting gig. Nichols and Wheeler probe her country past and discover she also has been running away from a deteriorating marriage from her abusive husband, former actor/model Rick Mattison. As Mattison is just a "person of interest", things take a abrupt turn when he disappears. Nichols finds out about his former famous life and uncovers a bombshell.


9.07 Blogger's Diary (G/E)

Goren and Eames searches for a missing blogger Trek403, who has clues about a model's accidental suicide knowing its a murder staged as a suicide and knows who done it. As the trace for the blogger looms every day, the detectives are soon lead to a never-ending wild goose chase and seeking help from T.A.R.U they must track him down by reading his blogs. Goren soon goes undercover as a blogger himself to smoke out the missing Trek403.


9.08 Carpe Diem (N/W)

Nichols and Wheeler investigate the suspicious death of a advice columnist, whose last advice mysteriously led to her death. As the detectives trace clues to find the suspect and the motive, they discover a hidden book filled with secrets about her past and a past of an former love.


9.09 Mi Familia (G/E)

A young businesswoman is stabbed to death and Goren and Eames traces her murder to the mob, but the case soon leads to a dysfunctional and powerful Italian family, the Giorgios; when the detectives realize the victim is the daughter of Isaiah Giorgio, head of Giorgio Inc. and that she cut ties to her family, Goren and Eames must find out why she cut her bloodline and investigate the surprising web of lies deep within the family's closet. Meanwhile, Eames faces a crisis with her family.


9.10 Fault (N/W)

The wife of newly-elected Lt. Governor Jake Rodson is murdered and the strange death leads Nichols and Wheeler to several suspects, but when Rodson's love life is leaked through the media, things go from bad to worse when Rodson was secretly involved with a mistress. With the mistress currently M.I.A, the detectives risks their careers and puts Lt. Governor Rodson as number one of their suspect list. However, things go from worse to tragedy when Lt. Governor Rodson himself is strangled to death. As the case gets complexing to solve, Nichols is put through a standstill and Wheeler must use insight from her former mentor before meeting Ross to find a new lead.

Oh wow! These are great. Okay, except for bringing Nicole back... LOL! I loved her in her day, but the way they "wrapped" her up, how would you get her back without getting buried in soap bubbles? wink.gif

9.11 Training Day (G/E)

A normal day of police training excerise turns into tragedy when the supervisor of the recruits, Lt. Arlund Gunther is shot to death with an assissian's bullet. Major Case and Detectives Goren and Eames are enlisted by the Chief of Detectives to investigate. Trying to find the cop killer is a needle in the haystack, espeically when they link Gunther's murder to the mob. However a twist in the case puts a strain on Goren and Eames's partnership when Eames's mentor, Lt. Monica Crosby, is one of the suspects. After realizing Goren and his mentor's fractured relationship, Eames has doubts that it will soon come across with her and Crosby, but since they had never talked since her late husband's funeral the case going turn heads around the department. Espeically when Major Case realizes that a mole inside the department had a hand in Lt. Gunther's murder and many suspect even Goren that it's Crosby.


9.12 Worlds Apart (N/W)

Nichols and Wheeler are called to the case of a apparent murder-suicide of an infamous abortion doctor, Dr. Trent Egan whose controversial desicions causes outrage among the country. When they discover a radical anti-arbortionist was the one who committed suicide and the murder, they track down his anti-arbortion gang who declared it a miracle on the doctor's death and uncover the murderer's death is part of their conspiracy. However as twisted the case gets, the more involved other abortion-theme schemes and the detectives fear another abortion doctor is their target and must stop it.

9.13 Lucky Ladies (G/E)

A architect's daughter is found murdered in the back of her car and Goren and Eames set to probe the case. When they first suspect anyone against the architect has some vendetta on him, they intially suspect a powerful loan shark. However, uncovering the victim's latest endeavors detectives follow the trail of a mysterious suitor, she met two nights before she died. And soon detectives trace more unsolved murders of females similar to the victim and put the mystery man as the main suspect.

9.14 Frenzy (N/W)

Nichols and Wheeler are stuck in a media-fueled war when Alyssa Jurgens, celebrity daughter of music mogul Doc Jurgens dies in a drug and play party. When the detectives’ personal reasons with the media get in the way of their investigation, they soon learn Jurgens's rival's son had been secretly romantically involved with his daughter and that their Romero and Juliet-like relationship spins more secrets deep within the music world. To find her killer, Nichols must force himself to spur the two music rivals.


9.15 Home (G/E)

Goren and Eames are called in to probe a renewal in a 18 year investigation of the disappearance of Marissa Deshaw after a woman claiming to be Marissa is in fact the real deal. Eames and Ross are skeptical about her sudden reappearance after 18 years and noticing she is fine; however, in order to get to the truth Goren must probe her with a series of questions in order to prove her disappearance was actual and as he do, he learns some surprising twists in the complexing case including the person who was responsible for her disappearance a serial rapist, who has been hiding for 18 years.

9.16 Confidential (N/W)

A missing flash drive holding key information of series of private records involving politicians and businessmen among New York's Elite leads Detectives Nichols and Wheeler to a series of unsolved murders. And with bodies piling up one by one, the detectives must work with CIA agent Patricia Long in order to find the elusive drive and stop the thieves before more bodies keeps piling up.

9.17 Flogger

A highly respected Professor Robert Rowan is labeled as the prime suspect of the murder of his former colleague. When autopsy results reveal she was flogged to death, Detectives Goren and Eames tries to find out the motive for the crime. However, their case becomes tainted when a petty officer accuses the professor as a murderer and when it shows it racially motivations; it brings out problems for the detectives to close the case.

(Based on the Henry Louis Gates’ arrest controversy)


9.18 Calling

With Eames taking a family emergency and Wheeler on vacation, Goren is partnered with Nichols and both their combined intellects will be tested when child killer Sam Daughtry caught twelve years ago is now going be released from jail. Riker’s new warder takes a lighter side and tries to release him compassionately due to his illness. Goren and Nichols are soon involved when a ten-year-old boy is found murdered a day after Daughtry’s release; and they instantly treat Daughtry as a suspect. However, the case takes a shift when they discover another unsolved murder that has evidence that might clear Daughtry twelve years ago. Outrage and in outcry, the people of New York will do anything to continue to put Daughtry under scrutiny. Nichols tries to understand Daughtry’s conscience twelve years ago, while Goren tries to reexamine the unsolved murder that might clear him and the solved case that convicted nearly 12 years ago.

9.19 Dead Dog

Famous jewel thief Ryan Carton known for his experience of stealing high expensive items is found murdered. Detectives Nichols and Wheeler are soon call on the scene to investigate his mysterious death. They uncover his past life and discover he was living the big social life. The detectives question his ethics and character, but as they are about to close the case into finding the real reason they are shocked to discover he had another life beyond the rich and thievery.


9.20 Off the Wall

Goren and Eames probe the disappearance of Brenna Chou, a college student and assistant to one of the most prolific liberal community organizations in New York. When they eventually find her, they discover her dead remains and shift their investigation to homicide. When going through lots of suspects, they uncover one Greg Simon; digging through his past, they discover he had intense feelings for her, though she was about to get married. However, their case takes a shocking turn when Goren and Eames notices the FBI is probing the organization, Stonegate, the same place Brenna worked. Learning this, the detectives realize there are undercover tapes that might spoil Stonegate’s closet of secrets and eventually a reason to Brenna’s disappearance, eventual death.
