Ok really, I like this show. But if they keep going down the route of turning the brother into a complete idiot I'll stop watching.

I really enjoyed this eposide.... and did like that part at the end when Boris comes in and gives Hank his family medical history, and that it was in German... to be that shows how they are going to evolve in season 2... One more show for this summer and then will have to wait for season 2.

I like the show too. I though it was funny when Boris gives Hank his family medical history,it was in German. Where is this going to go. unsure.gif

My fav episodes are definitely the ones with Boris, who is the real life son of actor George C. Scott!!! Which explains why he looked so dang familiar. Talk about SEXY! Boris that is.

Liked this episode a lot. Hooray for Hank who after trying so hard to get a peek at Boris' cell phone finally got to.

Bored with Jill and her uncertainty about Hank and her husband. Loved it that Evan didn't want Gary's money, it was nice twist.

Also, love Tucker and Libby. Their so adorable.

Hello, all. This isn't my usual forum, but I was curious if anybody knew how many people watched the finale?

Not sure, but if you check the ratings for BN's last show, they usually post the numbers of viewers along with its place in the top 10. A check of Variety for 8/11 reports that BN's finale got 7.59 million viewers! crpf

What high drama for our USA fave! Can you say 5 stars? Hank gets the Gardner's to back off--or was it Boris' lawyers--with his high seas intervention. Divya works outside of the box, AND actually is nice to Evan for a moment. Hank walks the streets of Manhattan and feels the tug of Long Island and a reason to stay....Yikes! The preview promises cliffhanger problems, but maybe problem-girl Jill will be stewing in her own sauce for a while. Gonna miss this crew after next week! What will we do??? unsure.gif

Overall, great episode, though I was cringing quite incessantly at the hooks, ehhhhhhh

I love that we're starting to get a peek into the mysterious world of Boris and understand his shtick and why he wants Hank around. Biggest pet peeves: romantic subplots. First of all, completely agree with the obnoxiousness of Jill's uncertainty. Come on, Jill, you're really trying to decide who is better for you? I know he's your "husband", but aren't you the girl who was crying to Hank about not having stability and practically crying over the similarities to Charlie? She's the one who seemed so broken up by her crazy husband, it's ridiculous that she's confused about what to do. But I get it, we need some drama in the plot line, which makes sense, many people can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. She spouts on about her angst with Chuckie, but when she meets with him face to face, her hormones and attractions say otherwise.

Other pet peeve: Divya and Evan. I knew that watching a show that had the main character go after the girl immediately and not deny his feelings for her to create "sexual tension" was too good to be true. So instead of using Hank as the toy, they use Evan and Divya. Please, too many of my shows fall into the vicious lap of "will they/won't they sexual tension that ultimately leads no where" (citation: Conan O'Brien). For once, don't tease the viewers, it never really works in anyone's favor, except for Gilmore Girls, Luke and Lorelai worked, but that was a rare situation, most attempt to get together and the characters crash and burn. All I'm saying is, lay off the not-so-subtle innuendos of a relationship, it only annoys the crap out of us.

Ohh I agree with the ewwww factor when it came to the hooks. I've watched cleft palate surgery and an autopsy but watching a needle go into someone or hooks.....I just can't. Maybe it's because they are awake and I feel their pain...or can imagine it. Anyway, I did like this ep and liked that Evan manned up. smile.gif

HI, all. sorry, carolinaRPfan, my last post wasn't clear. I was wanting to know the number of people who saw the last episode of Royal Pains. I think my sig was what threw you off because I have a link to a BN story. RP has had some great numbers this year; I thought someone here might have heard what the total number was for your RP finale. Guess I'll have to wait til the Tuesday report on tvbythenumbers where they have the top 20 on cable for the week past. Thanks for responding though.

Great episode! Of course, as a Boris fan, I like any episode with him in it. Time to make Boris a main character!
