So this year I decided that since I now own every season to date (I now have some of my favorite episodes, namely the creppy ones) I should have a whole halloween kinda party thing! So I was thinking, episodes on the list -

An Evening With Mr. Yang (Optional since it's more a thriller, but it would still work though)

Maybe the first proclaimed Psych horror-fest. I started doing the the Second season. We also watched snakes on a plane because we had nothing else to do. It wasn't that scary. Anyway, screaming our selves hoarse is always fun, even if it isn't scary! ;-)

Hilarious Prank, but I have wimpy friends, normal people might not react;
Have someone slip out side while your watching and put a lit flash light in a widow leave it for a minute then switch windaws, then trade off with the other person after a few windows, so no one is suspicious. Or, every one could do it but one person, and have the prank be on them. (Fake blood splattering on the window isnt a bad effect either)

LOL! That's hilarious. It reminds me of the time me and my friends went camping (with two tents) and each tent would try to sneak up on the others and 'haunt' the other.

I was planning to do the same thing as there are so many Horror send ups in Psych

This is gonna be fun! Eat popcorn with the lights off (I will only do that with Psych I would never do that with a real horror movie) and eat the leftover trick-or-treat candy.

Yeah, I had watched, or at least tried to watch "Scary Sherry" every year since I got the DVD's for Season 1 but this year I'm going to invite my friends that like Psych and well watch all the episodes and stuff, it'll be really awesome, I'm just debating on the order of the episodes, I mean I want to go chronologically but if I do, then I do'nt know how much of an awesome ending the "Party" will have, it really all depends on if "Let's Get Hairy!" is really REALLY awesome, as opposed to just really awesome. And also, do I end with "Tuesday The 17th" or "Yang"? You see why I started planning now?

About food, I like all your guys' ideas for popcorn and obviously I'll have Pizza (The ultimate Psych watching food ) and I was thinking Root Beer Floats... any suggestions?

I might do the same thing. I want to have a Halloween party this year, but my BFF is so easily terrified when it comes to movies. Last year, she nearly tore my arm off during Sweeney Todd and she was crying by the time 1408 ended. So I've been brainstorming for some stuff that would be okay for her like Hocus Pocus. Psych episodes are a great idea!

And I loved Ghost. Cracked me up (as they all do) but loved the boneless scene of course, the "spooky lady in the grass" as the dog jumps up, etc. I just enjoyed that one.

I love Hocus Pocus! I watch it every year!! I would love to have one of these but I don't really have any friends my age who watch Psych(besides family) I'll have to try and find someone before Halloween or I'll just have one by myself.

I'll admit, though my memories of "Ghosts" weren't the best... when I watched it when I got the DVDs I enjoyed it--then again, watching anything with commentary seems to make it better, LOL! (Even though I recall that was the commentary where the audio mixing was a bit odd--the on screen volume was as loud as the commentary, making it difficult to hear the commentary at times.)

Yeah my memories of Ghosts aren't the best either but it still freaked me out when I watched it. I recall hugging my pineapple and being made fun of by my father because of it during that episode

I asked my friends if they were interested, and they are! We're going to start after I get off work on the 30th, which means I can stay up as late as I want and not worry about getting up for work.

This sounds like it would be so much fun! But I don't know if I'll be able to do it since Halloween'll be a busy day for me... I have practice in the morning, then we're performing at a field show...twice. 4 and 10pm. And after we perform, it'll be about 40 minutes to hand out awards, and since we're working the show, we'll have to clean up afterward. I don't expect to be home before 1 o'clock.

No, it was an actual pineappple. I bought it in honor of season three. Although I would be very careful if you plan to hug a pineapple because I remember getting repeatedly poked by the leafs

You'd actually be surprised how much I do beta my own posts... half the time when the "edited" line is at the bottom, it's because I noticed a mistake and fixed it.

And I'm critical of excessive punctuation because I associate it with young kids and poor online writing skills... thus, the criticism of my own use

now I´m really excited about Halloween, I´ve decided that I´m also gonna watch all scary Psych episodes on Halloween, that´ll be awesome. All seasons haven´t been released on DVD here in Sweden yet but the season 3 and season 4 episodes can I watch on the internet
I don´t really know anyone else that watches Psych (I know, it´s unbelievable) so I guess I have to do it alone. But it´s not a problem!

And btw, many have mentioned what to eat at the "Scary Psych night" but nobody´s mentioned anyhting about what u should drink. You really should make Pineapple Smoothies, that would be perfect. I think I will. And maybe drink Fanta with pineapple flavor haha lots of pineapple xD

I wonder why they aren't having it ON halloween?

They're probably anticipating that not a lot of people watch regular network TV on Halloween. I imagine the majority of people would be watching horror movies like Friday the 13th, Nightmare of Elm Street, Halloween, or even Hocus Pocus. You know, the classics. So having it a few days before Halloween would get people into that creepy Halloween mood.

So I am having myself one of these right now and starting with Scary Sherry and ending with Let's Get Hairy (heehee that rhymed) Anyway, I am enjoying it with a hot cup of cocoa with little bunny marshmallows

Ok, im going to give you guys a bit of a wrap about the 1st ever psych-o-ween even in the world.

got to my mates place at about 7, had chat, got interrupted by trick or treaters (only had 2 groups), then got down to some serious psych watching. Was quite good, we didn't make it through all of the eps on the list, and boy gets capped (i cant stop laughing at this name for it) was stopped half way through due to one of my mates not understanding shawns flash back bullet time looking at the bullet trajectory (computing students )

but the night was good, we had home made pinapple (and meat) pizza and was alot of fun.

Sadly, my Psych Halloween Horror-fest-athon fell through. It was supposed to happen on Friday night, but I had something else come up, so my friends and I just carved pumpkins, and decided to postpone the Psych-watching until Saturday night. Well, they completely punked out on me and ended up going out to a movie instead, so I went to my parents' house with the plan to carve another pumpkin and have my on Psych Horror-fest-athon.

...Which just turned into me watching the last disc of Season 1 Psych. =P

But oh, well. At least I got to watch Scary Sherry!
