"I like the long video clip of High Noonish. LOL! Lassie does appear scary when he doesn't speak and locks your car doors without you knowing it. Haha!

"
YES! I LOVE the way they directed Lassiter's character in that scene! Even happy-go-lucky Shawn is intimidated by him. Lassiter is the Head Detective for a reason! And Lassiter asking for their help, WOW. Just...wow! I can't wait to see this episode, I think it will be my favorite Psych episode of all.
By the way, the locked doors thing - it's a standard feature in the back seat of police cars. Lassiter didn't "lock their doors without them knowing it", they're built that way so suspects in the back seat can't open the doors from the inside. You have to open the rear doors from the outside.

Of course, now that I know I stuck my foot in my mouth with the fact you ARE a police officer, just wanted to make it clear that I have a LOT of respect for the police. I work with police daily, and when I was a witness in a crime yrs ago, the police were awesome.
Actually, now I'm curious about how Psych's depiction of police process fits with your experiences. For instance, my dad always chided poor depictions of guns in movies (like someone shooting a guy with a gun that had the safety on), I can't stand bad medicine on TV, another poster stated that "He Dead" misrepresented aviation, etc and now I find it entertaining to see how experts take Hollywood's depiction of their fields. Is Psych doing an ok job, or do you just suspend your belief now?
