Natasha,

Now I know what you watch between seasons of BURN NOTICE!

Here are my thoughts on this episode: It was nice to see Andrew again (Does he ever star in anything that doesn't involve drugs?)! I REALLY HATE Jill's Ex, the creepy Chucky (AKA - The Carver from Nip-Tuck)! Tucker and Libby make a cute couple! I never knew that Smurfs originated in Poland! wink.gif

I'm curious about one line of dialog in this episode.

The Polish girl's Black boyfriend accuses Evan of lying about Divya being his girlfriend: "You two don't belong in the same room together..." Soooo...every girl in Poland is dating/married to a Black American man? And WTF's a Black man doing in the whiter-than-white Hamptons anyway?

Hum, well I liked it. You have a Doctor with a conscience that even with the threat of being fired and messing up a good friendship, he stuck to his guns and would not help with a drug induced quick fix treatment at home that could be dangerous. He also didn't just wash his hands of the whole deal he still found an alternative treatment. I also enjoyed the comedic part of the show because otherwise it could have been a little too heavy.

Divya came to Evan's rescue but who would have doubted that. They are friends even if they didn't want to admit it and they care what happens to each other. I have a male friend even though he's a few thousand miles away, married with 3 kids and sometimes a smart ass, but he is my best friend and we talk about everything. I was very glad to see that incorporated into the show because most people don't believe it's possible.

This is a great show and although it's past my bedtime I stay up and watch it even though it makes my workouts in the morning a little more difficult. blink.gif

I do recored it on my DVR just in case I miss something. Fall asleep during it...never. During commercials...maybe.

Have a great day everyone,

I am blue, too, but not from Thorazine.....only 2 more episodes to go for all of us addicted to RP! How could have the RP production folk have known that their episode would air after days of Jackson headline news?! Hank handled the detox debacle with Tucker's dad far better than poor MJ in real life Hollywood! (A contradiction in terms,no?) He was not the concierge doctor who bowed to dangerous demands of the rich--he refused, and then was called to come in to clean up the lethal situation. There were no MacGyver moves--good to see him as the experienced professional he's supposed to be. And, for all the addiction folk in the audience, Mr.Bryant was referred to a treatment center, the next and more important step in recovery. 12 steps, baby, 12 steps.......
I loved the Divya "save" with Evan: will be interesting to see how many fans think her kiss meant anything more than protection from a fist in the face!
Looking forward to Hank's visit to NYC--some of us have wondered when he was ever going to put some closure on the lawsuit--now Boris is in the mix! Good show--but where were the ratings stars for us this time? I think I'd do a 5!

This was probably the best episode so far. I absolutely love Evan. IMHO he's stealing the show. It was good to see Divya loosen up a little bit. I thought she was nasty and rude in past episodes but we're starting to see a different side of her. I also think that this "thing" between her and Evan is going to develop into something very interesting.

I'm so curious about Boris. He is very secretive and I haven't figured out where that storyline will go. Anyone have any ideas about Boris?

I think this was one of the best eposides, and we got to see more of Hank and Tucker's friendship, I am sad that there are only 2 more eposides this season, but looking forward to next. Also hoping that they have included the Tucker & Hank freindship contiunes into season 2.

I loved this episode too. I like seeing the relationship between Evan and Divya develop...I think I pointed out in another board that their relationship would develop!!! Haha!!! I also have one question that is kind of off topic, kind of not. Who exactly is Boris and how is he related to the show?

Okay, so Boris is the Rich Guy that is letting Hank and Evan stay at his house so that he can be the conceirge doctor he is... Also I think Boris may be coming through to save Hank from the Gardner Family (which was in the pilot eposide),

I agree with you. I think this episode was the best. I also think Divya and Evan is going to develop into something very interesting. Boris is up to some thing about the Gardner Family, I don't know yet! Jill getting Boris blood and throwing it a way. I didn't think she would do that.
Tsk340
haha. boris is totally hank and evan's father. I mean come on, he had jill throw out his blood sample because was just mildly suspicious of his character already. and he said "i know you came here thinking you were going to save my life hank, but i think i might have just saved yours." if "the illness", if there even is one, it is something genetic or hereditary, then that could be what boris meant by possibly saving hank's life because he is alerting him to it early on. i just think it fits and i'm pretty good at figuring out some of the plots and twists of my favorite shows.

I enjoyed this episode, it had a nice mix of humor and seriousness, and it brought back my favorite relationship in the show, Tucker and Hank. One thing that struck me that I hadn't noticed in previous episodes is that Tucker is a good 2-3 inches taller then Hank. I'm very much looking forward to the return of Boris and what is going to happen with Hank vs the Old Hospital.

To the other poster, I think the boyfriend was saying that Divya is way out of Evan's league, nothing racial at all. She's a totally hot babe, and Evan is a goofy looking semi-spazy kind of guy, so he was saying he didn't believe they were boyfriend/girlfriend cause Evan would have no chance with her.

Hi--another possibility: Boris is VERY well connected and has a vested interest in keeping Hank employed on the island. He can probably make Hank's problems "go away" or at the very least help him with legal support to fight the NY hospital. That would "save" his life, professionally.....I don't think that his career is in such dire straits, however, but it makes for drama in the show. As for being his father--a German billionaire from Brooklyn--not my first guess! crpf

Oh, I got now...that's been bugging me for the past few weeks!!!!

I really liked this episode!!

As far as Boris, I think he will get Hank out of the bad situation by being a donor to his previous hospital where he was employed. That will smooth things over with them if they get the money that the Gardner family is pulling away from them. Then Boris will have Hank's full attention in the guest house in the Hamptons. Of course, maybe Boris will then pull his support from Jill's clinic--UH OH.

I loooved this episode. Had me squealing like a dork when Divya kissed Evan. OMG. Lol I am really excited to see what happens next between the two of them. The tension between them is wonderful. I really love both of them together. I can't believe there's only 2 more episodes left! This show is so addictive, and it sucks that there is only 2 more episodes left. RP is great!

This was the best episode by far - finally getting it together. The script was well paced, switching from one story line to another with good timing and exposition.

The detox montage was particularly effective. Good pacing and use of camera.

ALL the actors did well. They should be pleased.

When are the DVDs coming out?

I thought the way the Polish girl was written was borderline offensive, but mostly just really stupid... Like something out of a bad eighties sitcom.

Hi Mk1 , I kinda thought the same thing about this chick; she is purely incidental to the whole script, and characters like this are rarely given much work![ I thought the choice of an African American bouncer as the boyfriend was really a reach, too.] Wouldn't you know she just HAD to be an accountant(student?) just like Evan?! He is forced to play off the ones with weird characteristics for comic effects. Don't know if you are one of the Evan Haters in this forum--I'm not, but I hope season 2 keeps him evolving: see tonight's episode (11)!

I LOVED this epsiode...especially the comic relief with Evan taking Anna to a beach for the first time!! I also think it was hilarious to find out that he's afraid of a giant spider...it just made me think of something from Harry Potter that's hilarious!!! I also think the relationship with Evan and Divya is actually going to get quite interesting now that they've....SPOILER ALERT: kissed!! I can't wait to see next week's episode!!!
balticzephyr
How hard would it have been to use a real Polish girl in this episode? The girl did not look even a little bit Polish and her accent was awful! Not to mention, a Polish girl would be the last to take of her top at the beach. Maybe try a German girl for that.
