Ok, since we're having a run on games with the seasonal break (I refuse to say 'hiatus'...that's what they say about shows that won't be coming back...this one better!), I thought I'd try my hand at one I came up with a while back...

Though I 'invented' it before I even came to this board, best way to describe it is a blend between 'Word Association' 'Six Degrees',

Example

Person 1 (me) : Bruce Campbell

Person 2: Lucy Lawless -- Xena

Person 3 Edward James Olmos -- BSG

Person 4 Don Johnson -- Miami Vice

Person 5 John Goodman -- Born Yesterday

etc....just keep going...

Let's say, for the purposes of this thread, no repeats for at least 10 names. No other rules really (save they have to be viable connections, and anyone can call 'horsepucky', or other phraseology (politely of course wink.gif ) on any answers they find off...no penalty, just a bit of backpedaling....

So...with no further ado (or a-don't wink.gif ) I give you

Bruce Campbell (big Shock there I'm sure! laugh.gif)

Goody! Another new game!

I'll have to watch for a while before I attempt to play. I'm seriously star/movie impaired.

And I agree with your use of the word "break". It sounds so much better. smile.gif

kusa23
Sorry, guess my intro came out wrong, Fir is on to it....it is Actor/Director/etc Word Association....Like I went to Bruce, and DT went to Brigit Fonda in AOD....next person has got to connect 1 person (and the movie/tv/whatever they were in) to her

Reb....you were off the charts!!! WOW!!!!! biggrin.gif Which do you want to go with (guessing they're all connected to BF?)?

B)No,i was thinking we could pick anyone from BN and do it like 6 degrees of seperation from the name we pick.
I guess i got it wrong, but if anyone wants to do 6 degrees of seperation from Jeffrey Donovan i'm good? tongue.gif biggrin.gif

Wait, now I'm confused. blink.gif

Kusa started with: Bruce Campbell
I (Mac) went to: Bridget Fonda
Duct Tape went to : Jennifer Jason Leigh

so rebecce, you need to pick one person to follow (and connects with) "Jennifer Jason Leigh", right?? Or did I miss something?

HI rebecce, OK basically what happens is you post one name that's associated with Jennifer Jason Leigh, not a list, that's in that other game. wink.gif
For example if I posted say Humphrey Bogart (The African Queen)
somebody else could write Katharine Hepburn who co-starred with him in that movie, does that make sense?

Ok, in the interest of game continuance, and if majority are in accord, if there is a blip in the volley (aka, a incorrect connection or other confusing issuance) other members can 'referee' and move on with the next rational connection if there is no response from the person who made the boo-boo after 1 hour of the mis-post

(ok, was that Kusa-speak, or did ya get me biggrin.gif)

Since Cindy's was at 12, it's definitely over an hour...I say using the first connection is the most reasonable
