This show started off being new and refreshingly different. The male and female leads hook up in an early episode and all is well. Then the writers fall back on their standard fare of breaking them up and introducing the ex. Why in the world do they think they need to break them up? They could just as easily had them stay together and face the same issues, without the trite, overused, and expected 'plot twist'.
