The only real question mark is Raphael, how will he react to this development?

Now again, the cliffhanger isn't in whether Mary will survive, but in who her would-be-killer is, why he shot her, and what Marshall will do when he catches him. I saw another post about Mary's mannerisms and attitude ...this is a very complex situation -- especially for her. She has been the THINKER in this family since a young age -- raising her mother and sister. Yes, becoming something of a martyr out of necessity.

These adjustments with Raphael are HUGE for her ... it is great!

Every time that she says, "I know that ..." it is an intellectual "know" because in her reality, despite the family smarts (they all are), the HABITS have been self-destructive and she has had to think things through for the others.

Raphael is perfect, MATURE and the TRUE man -- not threaten by this woman trying to take over his life -- he knows how to share his life without getting sarcastic or condescending. It just gets better and better.

Either people aren't really interested in Mary's private life or they think that Raph is out for sure and didn't bother to comment.

I'm sure folks ARE interested in Mary's private life and Raphael's actions/reactions. I don't find this forum to be lacking opinionated people.

So I'll just state why I didn't vote in this poll and maybe it will help.

I didn't comment because there is another topic where folks are commenting about "shoulder hunching" or other mannerisms and I really didn't understand why there would be a second topic and poll about it. Then I take a look at the poll and it is not really about Mary's mannerisms but more about Raphael.

So then I look at the poll again and think I COULD vote but the choices seem very limited as if I vote YES it has to be for the reason stated in the poll or if I vote NO it has to be for the reason stated in the poll and so on.

Maybe if the topic stated The Future of Raphael and Mary's Relationship and the choices were less limiting more folks might vote and then post and explain their vote with comments on the topic of Mary and Raphael or why they voted yes or no as well as Mary's mannerisms and attitudes. Possibly they are two separate topics/polls though. Myself, I got confused and just didn't click or post.

Maybe we could start you a new less confusing poll?
