Man, I can't believe that we have to wait at least five months until Season 3 picks up once again. Very sad indeed.

I won't be clicking on the spoilers at all, but I am looking forward to seeing what happens next. Burn Notice keeps me on the edge of my seat in every episode I've seen so far and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Looking forward to it.

The writers did an excellent job ending the summer with a powerful emotional finale that left me as a shipper largely satisfied. (Not fully of course, where is the kissing with this passionate explosive couple? Come on!)

But with Diego's terrified call that someone is after both him and Michael, news of a "mysterious clean up" of the Strickler situation, and then Diego's death foretelling a much more dangerous situation - I am pumped!

Let's go. "They" - whoever they are - probably know Michael killed Strickler. And Michael has no clue who is coming fast. Can't wait until January.

Just pointing out that we get a 3-month break between seasons 2 and 3, and a 5-month break between seasons 3 and 3.5.

I guess it is all better than that long wait we had from 1 to 2.

You're looking at the glass half empty--we only have to wait 3 months from 3.5 to 4!!!

I just spent 3 days with one of my old high school friends force feeding her season one. I know that she is already infecting her sister as we post...Now they are helplessly addicted and has 5 whole months to track down season 2 & first half of 3 before we start up again. Its a silver lining for some people I suppose.

Sorry, Wookie, I think they're set on 16 shows per season, split between the summer and winter half-seasons. It's working really really well for them. And if they showed all 16 in one season it is a very long wait til the next season. We waited from Sept to the next July between Seasons 1 and 2. So, I'm happy with the split season. And I would rather have 16 great shows than 22 or 26 ho-hum ones like they do on network tv. Hang out with us; we play games during the offseason to pass the time

Regarding the number of shows, I posted a "suggestion" in the For the BN Writers Thread that they consider giving us a two hour mid-break show like The Closer and 24 have done. In fact, USA has done it with Monk so why not do it with Burn Notice? Both The Closer and Monk have had their specials in December. And I can't think of a better Christmas present right now.

If any of you agree, post it in the BN writers thread. We know they read it.

Oh my did anyone take a look at the spoiler pictures? Do you know who that 'client' is? LOL I have heard reference to Mom's old 'partner in crime' and using her is quite clever. Some of you may not be old enough to remember the show.....

Yeah it's Tyne Daly. I'm not old enough to have seen the show but I know she and Sharon Gless used to work together on Cagney & Lacey. Haven't they been looking for a role for Tyne Daly to play for a while now? It'll be fun to see those two on screen again. Though I think it would've been funnier if they'd used Sharon's idea and made Tyne Madeline's chain-smoking sister or something, that would have been great!!


Is anyone like me and counting down the days until January? It's only 151 more days until the 7th of January (which is the first Thursday of the new year)

Well, I saw this and thought I would toss it out there, for what it's worth:

IMDB still has question marks for most air dates for season 3.5. However, they do have a February 11 air date for episode 3.13, Enemies Closer.

If we counted back from that, it would put the S3.5 premiere, episode 3.10, on January 21. There is some logic to that, given that for this year, 2.5 premiered on January 22.

And because we know IMDB screws up a fair bit, they also show November '09 air dates for episodes 3.15 and 3.16, which makes no sense.

If anyone is buying the box set of the S1 and S2 DVDs that comes out tomorrow (January 5), can you please check in here? Supposedly there is some preview/sneak peek of this upcoming episode (as a download, I assume). I don't know if it's just a promo, or even better, if it will be something we can find online. I will be on the lookout for it online.

I imagine not too many of us are buying it because we already bought both seasons individually, but thought I would mention it here. Perhaps some newbies will get it and then wander by here.

I too am getting more and more excited. It helps when Burn Notice is the only thing on your brain as you deal with a full wheel barrow or more of manure that you are dragging through the snow to the dump spot. I was thinking about 'ok this thursday makes it a week away? no, makes it two weeks away, so we are at 21/2 weeks out? yeah that's right. yep 17 days.' yes this is the stuff that goes through my head. lol better than holy cra* the snow is making this really heavy.

Well, compare it to Do No Harm, sequence-wise, and I would expect intense. You made me check the director, which IMDB says is John Kretchmer, but at the beginning of this thread we list both Kretchmer and Nix. JK has directed 6 previous episodes: Hard Bargain, Turn and Burn, Comrades, Bad Breaks, Question and Answer, and Fearless Leader.
