I voted Shawn takes a shot in the dark. I think its pretty self explanitory.

'Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark' for season 4.0. I cannot wait. As far as 4.5 goes, I guess I can't really say now because the ep's might get jumbled in the line up.

I vote Lassie's murder threat, but "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark" is a close second! Followed by "High-Noonish". I'm so excited for Friday to get here!

'Bollywood Homicide' for sure! I was practically raised on Bollywood movies, so I think its amazing that they're paying homage to the Indian culture. I'm really anxious to see how they pull it off! But 'Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark' is a very close second.

I am most excited about the episode "He Dead" , i like the title and i don't like episodes where Shawn is in Danger i like ones tha even though there is a dead guy in the room it so funny !

I had a feeling that Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark would be in the lead Definitly the episode I am most excited for!! This season is gonna be great!

I am not surprised that the majority picked Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark. But I love the angst so I can't wait for it!

My vote is for Extradition because:

a. When that episode airs in two days it means that Psych is back!!! Yes!!!
b. Cary Elwes
c. Cary Elwes (did I say that already?)

Although my second vote would be for Let's Get Hairy, mostly because of the fact that James gets to do another horror episode and because of the name. There was an 80's movie called Let's Get Harry (admittedly a bad movie, but it starred Michael Schoeffling, aka Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles *melting heart*) from which I'm assuming they named the episode. Great, great 80's reference!

Like everyone else, Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark is right up there as well!

I can pick three, though. Extradition (CARY ELWES! *insert giant smiley face*), High Noonish (two words: cowboy hats), and Shawn Takes A Shot In The Dark (because I know I'm gonna love everyone's reactions).

Honestly though, every episode looks just amazing.

I voted Extradition British Columbia because it kicks off the 4th season.

I voted for "The Devil Is In The Details... And The Upstairs Bedroom" because I'm pretty sure that's the said "Exorcism" episode, and seeing them have to deal with something like that... almost a "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast" kind of episode, and that is one of my all time favorites.

But if I hadn't screwed up and been stupid, I would've selected "Let's Get Hairy!", because I love all the scary episodes...

LOL! I love the scary eppies too..they were great. I had to pick the shot eppy because I dig seeing Roday do his drama stuff.

After that DEFINITELY comes the werewolf eppy because I LOVED AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. It scared the heebeebajeebees out of me and made me laugh at the same time.

Yeah, those are like my all time favorite eppies. Namely "Tuesday The 17th", because that has one of the best intros on the whole series ever, and a Rick Astly pinata! And I bet the Werewolf one will be awesome!

I'm with ya. Tuesday the 17th was my fav for that genre as well. I loved the "annie are you okay" homage to MJ and the screaming and running and skipping a step out of that shack...and the "shawn vision" during the run AND the squiggly camera one in the cabin...and Gus' shovel throwing stunt and his "I beat him already!!" and ah...I can go on all night on that one. I really loved that eppy.

I totally agee with you on the first one!!! I told my best friend on Facebook last night that Carey Elwes was guest starring this week and she said "OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!" I told her that he was going to be guest starring a while ago and she said "OMG!!!! WHEN?" After that, my second vote would be "Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark"

Yeah I know, that episode has so many great things about it, James did a great job with it, and I'm glad to hear the he "...may or may not be directing and writing a continuation of a little episode that ended the last season..."

But yeah, I love the discovery of Annie and Shawn screaming like a girl, and the running away always gets to me, one of the best part, but the part I really like is when Clive jumps down the stairs as the killer with the huge blade and Sissy screams "AHHH! JASON!" and when she screams "He was... he was... HE WAS IN THE HOUSE!" and the whole B Story is awesome as well.

Oh yes..that was a great part with him jumping down the stairs...yes! And Jules got to show her true cop side...you go girl!

And a favorite shot of mine was when Billy falls into the hole covered by leaves, and he pulls himself up and behind him is the killer with his axe... Awesome.

Yes, that is my new picture, I wanted one of him as Chad, but there were none of him alone. And yes we will, but hopefully not to the point of him not being him, like the whole Mentalist clip, that's the Shawn I want to see, but I love the seriousness peppered in there too, i.e. "Yang"

And yes TVspaz, the whole hiding in the closet is so funny, and funnier in the commentary when James is like "I love how it's a two shot, but the other person is in the closet!" and how come you won't answer my question on YouTube?

Yes, PsychNickNack, you are spot on. Psych writers/producers folks know exactly how much drama to put in this great dramedy without changing the feel of the show. They do a great balancing act on those eppies.

And yes BlackTsChica, they know exactly when to pull our strings! Every time Shawn would figure out the clue, it would be like this awesome thing, like when he does the little flip book on the train and is like "You gotta be kidding me. You gotta be kidding me!" and the whole "Watching us the whole time!" and when he finds out Yang took his mom! Awesome. That epoisode is great, but Gus doing all that silly stuff is GRRRRRRREAT! The King Kong and Michael Jackson, so funny, Lassiter "Guster what the hell is wrong with you?" I laughed so hard the first time!

I have always been a big fan of seeing main characters in danger and I'm not sure why. I just do. Although i found out that a lot of people on this board also love it James does such a great job which makes it very entertaining. Besides, who doesn't love action?

definitely Shawn takes a shot in the dark!! I´m SOOOO excited about that episode. In an interview, James Roday said that it´s one of the most serious episodes they´ve ever done, and I really like when it´s drama in Psych. Comedy too of course, but I really love when they do more serious episodes sometimes, like An Evening with mr.yang, that was a great episode!!
