Of the characters so far in Season 3 with a multiple episode arc, Diego was the most intriguing. He was the only one I wished had remained part of the cast, at least through the end of 3.5.
Much mystery surrounded him. I never knew whose side Diego was on. Was he just a hard working, jaded CIA spook getting ready to retire? Or was he a mole for management or Strickler or even someone else? And why if he was so smart, and had traveled the world and been shot twice, did he end up in such a dead end job? Did he really not like Michael, or was he protecting him? Why did he choose that apartment during his final phone call? Was it all a set-up?
Whatever the answers, Diego was entertaining going toe to toe with Michael.

MichaelheartsDiego

And then, breaking Michael's heart with the news: "The company is not interested in your services at this time."

I really liked Tim Matheson as Undead Larry!!! Tim is not only a fantastic director, but he plays an undead spy really well!!!
They also didn't completely write him out, he could always return!!

BTW: This is my first photo post... All these cool days of the week threads made me want to learn how to screencap!!!
Many sleepless nights later.... I figured it out!!!! (I think)

Diego was one of my favorites too, DT! I think he was really a good guy!
Great job, Burnaholic, on your first photo post! It's addicting, isn't it?! Such fun!
Another of my favorite guest stars was Jay Karnes as Tyler Brennan.

What a formidable foe for Michael, and one of the few bad guys he couldn't fool.

But come on, that final scene, when he calls his daughter! *standing ovation* Incredible job, Jay Karnes! It gave a human side to Brennan. Don't get me wrong, I'm still glad Michael got the best of him; but it sure made it more interesting!

Thanks Siobhan, for the great thread!

I haven't learned photoshop either, LillyHobbs. Frustrating to have a plain statement but whenever Lucy appeared in S1, she brightened the screen. She also had a great speaking voice.
Although it was never said, I felt Lucy had a healthy crush on Michael. It would be good to see her return.

Sister, I always wanted to see Lucy again. She could be Michael's client or give him another job. I mean, she's in town. Remember that cute little puppy dog look he gave her. I think he was her trainer or mentor or something. I thought she had a crush on him, too. Who wouldn't?

Awww! I love all actors. They're so great, enjoy watching BN all different characters, and very talent people who worked so hard. I love ALL of above!!!
I hope... Nate (Mikey's little brother), Seymour (Arms Dealer), Virgil (ex-navy, sweetheart with Maddie), Tim Matheson(I'll be back), Fi's brother(from Ireland), Det. Paxton(out of Florida state, maybe She'll be back), a lot more actors will be back whenever they're coming back, Lucy(busy with CIA or FBI out of town, maybe back or not), John Mahoney as Managment (I'm sure he'll be back!!!) all of them will be back for a short temp. actors.

, I don't remember few other actors, I'll let you know. I'll be back, will write down. Okay! Maybe Matt Nix is Michael Westen's boss! ha ha! (just my joke).

Wow, thank goodness somebody else posted my boyfriend, haha. I almost thought I'd have to learn how to! And I'm a very lazy person. I'm apparently the only girl (and maybe some boys? hey, i'm open minded

) here who is not attracted to jeffrey donovan or bruce campell. you can even throw michael shanks into that mix (for him, it's the canadian accent and the chipped tooth. i can't get past the way he said "organ-eye-zation!") Anyway tho, I love me some alex carter. Definitely more my style - I like tough, pretty boys built like a third baseman if that makes sense? I'm thinking about changing my "one free pass" to him... I have a "guest star" that had a really small part on screen, but she has a HUGE role off screen.
Ellen Jacoby!! She does the Miami Casting for the show and she also played the snipers landlord in Double Booked!!!
Who better to showcase on Guest Star Tuesday than the woman who finds great guest stars?!?!

Thanks everyone for the great screencaps. I don't have any of the episodes in a format that lends itself to screencaps so I rely on my forum buddies to post them.
I saw Kenny (from Do No Harm) on Criminal Minds the other night and believe it or not he was whining and crying in that episode too. There was a much younger Carl Wilheim (Old Friends) on an old NCIS episode and the name of the show escapes me at the moment, but I also saw Amy (Barry's special lady) over the weekend. She played a very similar type in that show (wish I could remember what it was). She played an overbearing mom who sent a degrading email to a teenage girl who they thought had committed suicide but it turned out to be a murder. She looked and sounded just like the Amy we saw in Friends Like These.

We need more women on this thread In Friends Like These (3.08) two women were quite entertaining - and Fi fought with both of them.
Debi Mazar was hilarious as Barry's special lady Amy.

(I think Dan J did captions of Fi and Amy fighting)
But I thought it was Callie Thorne who stood out this season. She fooled the team pretending to be Natalie Rice, a real estate lady, mother, and victim. Instead she was the ruthless mastermind blackmailing Barry. I hope she returns as an ongoing adversary like Brennen.

I know Tuesday has come and gone, but I found something interesting online...nicegirlstv.com has done many (27 so far) articles featuring stars who they think "deserve their own show" and not surprisingly, many BN guest stars are included (sorry-can't figure out how to insert pics):
Seth Peterson – He is best known for his current recurring role on Burn Notice, but is probably best known for Providence. He had blink and you’ll miss him roles in Beverly Hills, 90210, Viper and Relativity. He has had guest appearances on Charmed, Deadwood, Profiler, CSI, The Shield and CSI: NY. His current project is the movie Intent with Eric Roberts.
Mark Sheppard – Most sci-fi fans will know Mark for his roles as Badger in Firefly and as Romo Lampkin in Battlestar Galactica. In the last few years he’s been seen in 24, Medium, Bionic Woman, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, The Middleman, Leverage and Dollhouse. He also appeared in an episode of Warehouse 13 and he will be seen in at least one episode of White Collar.
Dina Meyer – Dina first appeared in several episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 back in 1994 then later was one of the leads in the short-lived WB series Birds of Prey. She also appeared in the short-lived NBC series Miss Match. Yet another short-lived FOX series Point Pleasant cast her in one of the lead roles. Most recently she has appeared in Monk, Burn Notice and Nip/Tuck. Her movie roles include Dragonheart, Johnny Mnemonic, Star Trek: Nemesis, Saw (and all of its sequels). She was also in the made-for-TV movies His and Her Christmas and Crimes of Passion. She recently finished filming the horror flick Piranha 3-D.
Patrick Fabian – Folks will probably remember Patrick best from his roles in Joan of Arcadia and Veronica Mars, but he also appeared in Providence and Time of Your Life. Most recently he starred in the short-lived series Valentine on the CW and has appeared in Big Love. He has made guest appearances in countless shows like Life, Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice, Boston Legal, Bones, Ugly Betty and many more. He’s appeared in both ABC Family Channel movies Snow and Snow 2 and appeared in box office movie Must Love Dogs. He will be seen in the new Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva as well.
Alex Carter – Alex has quite a lengthy resume, including appearances in shows like Due South, The Pretender, Early Edition and Felicity. He had a starring role in the short-lived series Veritas: The Quest and Point Pleasant. More recently he’s been seen in Lincoln Heights, CSI, Burn Notice and Leverage.
Brett Cullen – Brett has a 20-year career and a face most viewers will remember from movies like The Thorn Birds and I’ll Take Manhattan; the TV shows Falcon Crest, The Young Riders and Legacy to name just a few. Most recently he’s been seen in Lost and Damages and in between all of these he’s appeared in The Mountain, Pepper Dennis, Friday Night Lights and Ugly Betty. He has three projects in the works, including Skateland and Killing Dinner. He will also be seen this summer in the ABC Family Channel series Make It or Break It.
Kevin Alejandro – You’ve seen him as Santos in Ugly Betty, starring in the short-lived FOX series Drive alongside Nathan Fillion and even in the original online series Gemini Division with Rosario Dawson. He is now appearing in the John Wells series Southland on NBC, which will return for a second season this fall. And he can be seen in current episodes of Weeds.
