I watched the Countdown Day 7 clip and was surprised to hear a reference to Kansas City and Lawrence, KS! I'm from Kansas City and went to school near Lawrence - it's not often that these locations are referenced outside the Midwest. Do you have a Kansas City or Kansas connection? I was surprised again when you referenced Florida - where I happen to live now! What are the chances? :-)

I'm not sure if this is why he mentioned Lawrence and KC but his assistant is from the 'Ta and went to KU.
He is one of the people who tweet @ www.twitter.com/psychwrites.

Also, if Mr. Franks watches sports, KU has had high profile basketball teams forever and had a good football team 2 years ago so that might play into it as well. I believe during sporting events they have to fill time with a lot of talk. It would come up that KU is in Lawrence and near Kansas City.

It's not like he referenced Eudora or Oskaloosa or something. That would have been impressive-ish. Or weird.

Around here we just call him Steve. That's just how we are. Overly familiar.
