Friends Like These was really a great Sammy episode, He was hilarious! Loved "Mike, I'm gonna go get you a new name and game" and the bit about not expecting to be wearing pants here----too funny.

Just for the benefit of anyone who might not know, the first reference to Sam in the pilot is when Lucy tells Michael that he is sponging off rich women and she "throws him a job when he is between sugar mommies."

I'm not sure how age comes into it for Sam, given that Ms. Reynolds is supposedly 39.

I think a Sugar Mommy is anyone with girly parts and money. I'm not sure age is an issue.

Does anyone have worse luck with their cars than Sam Axe?

In light of recent automotive events (RIP Ms. Reynolds' car), and continuing the conversation in this thread, I thought we could revisit one of Sam's previous heartbreaks.

That car didn't look so bad. Why didn't they just fix it and give it a new paint job; a different shade of Blend-in? I mean if the car was to be toasted for good couldn't they have wrecked it with more conviction? Just you wait; the red thing will be brought back, Its like the charger; too cool to total.

What I never got about that scene was that Michael started out wanting to run, but half an hour later he said "I'm not running." Gee, that decision might have been a wee bit less expensive for Sam a little bit earlier (*with Sam 'l'il bit' fingers*).

On a lighter/funnier note... This one always makes me laugh, especially after watching the DVD commentaries and listening to BC talk about this scene and how he is doing the super hammed up run!!

Yep, the Charger has been DOA many a time and yet it still rolls. I wouldn't be surprised to see "the red thing" come back.

Bruce Campbell is a comedic genius. I love his attention to as simple a detail as running.

I'm pretty sure there's some significant frame damage to Ms Reynolds' red Buick after getting launched off of a four-story (I think that's how tall it was) parking garage. More importantly, I think Sam's relationship with Ms Reynolds has suffered irrepairable damage, no matter what his skills are when he's not wearing pants, lol! In other words, I think one of the running gags for the show is all of the cars/women that Sam goes through!

Yea, I think the car is totaled. as for Sam and Ms. Reynolds My guess is there done for, if a guy crashed my car I'd definattley breakup, no matter how "good " he is.

Just before it all unfolded Sammy was being the true BFF, there for Mike scouting out Thomas O'Neil's place from the parking garage while asking understandingly about his friend's life.

Sam: "It's OK if your head is spinning. First it's your girl. Now it's your childhood home."
Mike: "I never liked that house."
Sam: "But you liked Fiona, right?"



... Sam: "Why does it look like the sons of the lucky charms revolution are getting ready for battle?" ...



Mike: "Sam, gimme the keys to the car."
Sam: "That's Ms. Reynolds' car."



Sam: "No. Don't. Mike."

My goals for this hiatus are to learn some technical skills I need for this forum. LOL. I want to be able to insert photos, screencap, upload episodes from DVR to DVD to computer, and learn to make videos.
So, I hope I have succeeded in getting a photo into this post.
This is from an X-Files episode, "Terms of Endearment". Wayne Weinsider is a demon who just wants a normal family, but the ultrasounds keep showing little horns. What's a demon to do?

Oh, thank you for having this thread! It’s been awhile since I posted on this forum (or any forum). I’m having BN and Sam withdrawals, but I’ve been too busy to get a fix. Fall term starts at our college Monday and I’ve been working 9 and 10 hour days all month. I even work tomorrow for about 5 or 6 hours. Then, not only will Monday be crazy busy for us, but my classes will start also that day. I can’t wait until things slow down somewhat again and I can start watching BN season 2 again. Anyways, this thread and the “what are they saying” never fails to entertain and give me a pick me up. Thanks everyone!

Here are a couple of screencaps that I made on June 12th and titled them "sam's hair." *lol* I am going to have to go back and figure out which episode this was from and I hope Sammy fans can help me out with this...





Also, I had to put up one of my favorite moments with Sam from season 3's brilliant "Shot in the Dark." This was so hysterically funny!
