Since I am away from work this week--wouldn't go so far as to call it a vacation--, I have decided to start a thread...my first. It really doesn't differ much from the yumminess of the JD-aholics or Shirtless JD threads (of which I bow down to their greatness). I just created it to provide a place and reminder for me to post a pic on the board, at least once a week, during this long drought of BN that is all too rapidly approaching.

This may seem completely (and stupidly) redundant. I am open to ALL feedback, pro and con.

Tuesday can be Guest Star Day because that's what it was on the original Mickey Mouse Club.

I am not sure why I know that, but I can hear them singing it. I was too young for the original. I think I saw reruns in the 70s.

Then we can make Thursday (the best day of the week) new episode day, and Sunday super spy day, where we showcase MW's great cover id's!!! That covers everyday of the week!!!

Just a thought.... When we are no longer getting new episodes we could turn Thursday's into shirtless days!!!! I know it doesn't rhyme, but when we are talking about a shirtless MW do we care if it rhymes???

Obviously, we're all anticipating the upcoming six month BN break with anxiety. I'm working on a few ideas about new threads to keep us busy and connected during the layover and hope there will be others as well. It's coming up fast and I hate it already!

I love ALL of the above ideas (except the doggone six month hiatus ). I'm already having a few junkie shivers in anticipation of the midseason break.

Hooray!!! I love it! Anything to help us through the hiatus....I honestly have no idea how I'm going to make it, but I know I have lots of help here!

OHHH! Like a "Picture of the Week" thread? Not limited to Michael but to any "Burn Notice" scene? Maybe with some sort of theme, like say one week we post pictures of someone eating yogurt? Then maybe the next week pictures of someone in the Charger?

Thanks to everyone for responding positively to the idea! Lil' Miss Burnaholic was FULL of suggestions ....very good ones! (in fact, ALL of the days other than Tuesday and Wednesday stemmed from her brilliant imagination). I think it is a wonderful idea to honor the other cast members that we love so dearly, as well. Now for Thursday, I think it is a fabulous idea to post shots from the upcoming episode. However, I am this board's biggest SPOILERPHOBE, so this is not a job at which I would excel. Any takers for Thursday's, during the season?

The other suggestion for Thursday is shirtless JD. Love, love, love the idea, but feel that making a separate thread for it would detract from Natasha's fabulous work on the "Please JD, Take the Shirt Off!" thread. I would love to add it to that thread each Thursday, during the "off-season". I just wish there were many MORE scenes to capture!!!

That, in essence, would leave Thursday DARK during the span between seasons. Kind of like when they shut the lights off on Broadway to honor an event or the passing of an actor. Our way of mourning our "loss".

Leaving Thursday "dark" might be a nice tribute....as we will all be mourning that day during the hiatus as you suggest

Siobhan, you know you kill me! I LOVE that shot; I think I stole it from you from the JD-aholics thread! It's one of my favorite "looks" that Michael (JD) gives to Fi. He used to have so many that were "just for her;" we had fewer this season, but I think that was on purpose. But, this is a great screen cap. I LOVE how JD can do that with his expressions; it's incredible.

This is an opposite image of Michael from 3.01 "Friends and Family" - his intense side.

Here Michael strains to contain his fury as he listens to Harlan tell of his betrayal of him as a friend, of misleading Fiona, and of becoming a mercenary and putting self above patriotic duty. After watching the summer finale, I now find the scene engrossing. In just that half minute, this scene unveils the arcing themes of Season 3 that could tear Michael's world apart.

Okay, this has got to be one of my favorite Michael Westen moments. In fact, I turned it into a ringtone on my phone (every time I get an e-mail I hear MW talking! ).

This is in Loose Ends (Season 1 finale) where MW is talking to the "Second Biggest" heroin dealer and the guy asks him "Who are you?" Michael turns to him and says "I'm Michael Westen, I used to be a spy".

Maybe I'm lame, but I go crazy every time I see that scene!!!!!

Thanks for the pics Siobhan. It's fun to see MW's little boy smile as he fixes his favorite chair and enjoys a little victory with Bly now on his side.

I love it when Bly first cut the chair MW said "Thanks, I didn't like that chair anyway." Then after Bly gets shot and Michael is trying to help him he says "BTW, that chair was my favorite." Those two (Bly and Michael) just keep trying to out smart ass each other and I love it! I really hope they find more ways to bring Bly back!!

I just love the 3 Agent Bly vs. Michael Westen episodes. I don't think I would go so far as to say that Agent Bly is a friend but, he might be in his corner. I would love to see them bring him back as maybe an agency contact on the side, maybe who "they" don't know about. But bring him back

As for Bly, I love Bly. Bly I think "got to know" Michael, as Michael has often said that others should do, including Diego. Diego didn't have the authority I think that Bly has, nor the finesse. Bly would never have panicked the way Diego did, rightfully so mind you, but Bly would have done something else. I think he is on par with Mikey, loves his country, knows that Michael IS one of the good guys. This belongs in the speculation thread or the "what episode do you want to see" thread, but I think Bly will figure prominently in Michael's future; maybe even sacrifice his own career to save Michael when Bly himself realizes that his own "company" is turning on the good guy, Michael, and it's not right and he won't go along with it. BBB!

Neat thread idea! Now that it's break and I'm actually realizing that it really will be 6 MONTHS before more BN airs, I'm having to stalk around here getting my fix in all these great threads.

I love the little cap sequences. Michael's cocky "I just outsmarted you" smiles are always the best. His whole face lights up with happiness lol
