Great screen caps, Siobhan! I love that shirt too, probably because it's dark/grungy, semi-tight, and the collar is unbuttoned lol. Plus, as much as I love JD's arms - half sleeves are definitely a nice look.
And I totally know what you mean about the lemonade. It's really not a preferred drink of mine since I'm not a big fan of tart/sour tastes but that big glass of icy fresh lemonade looks beyond inviting. It reminds me of the stuff you get at fairs or carnivals or whatever, always good for taking big sips on hot days.
Anyway, happy Westenday everyone!

Happy Westensday!!!False Flag is such a great episode. And that Evelyn turned out to be such a nasty witch, using poor little Jasper like that, didn't she? Tsk. Tsk.
Well, enough about blonde assassins. On to the eye candy! There is just something about this shirt that looks oh so handsome on our dear Mr. Westen.

[This scene always makes me crave lemonade. That drink looks
almost as good as Michael!]

Thank you Burnaholic. Yes, love his smiles and the last one.
I just saw the pilot again this weekend and it always surprises me how good it is. A current article about Matt Nix says he only knew how to write for the movies so for the pilot he wrote it like a "short feature." And that is exactly what the pilot and episodes like Lesser Evil feel like, movies - and better than most.
Yet, I'm glad that unlike movies, we get to see that smile at least 16 times a year (wish we got shirtless scenes that often as well).

Ummm I think Fiona is not the only clothes horse on Burn Notice. That is a very well tailored suit. MW is meticulous with his belongings . I noticed in the loft he has trays holding his jewelry and sunglasses. Each item is neatly placed in the tray. MW opened a drawer and was looking for his lock opening kit. He lifted a small set of screwdrivers and said to Fi that they were right here. I thought that showed MW to be organized and a tad compulsive as a good spy should be.

Ah now, you see match, I didn't notice that detail before, about Michael keeping his little knick-knacks tidy. I was far too busy admiring his hands! He has lovely hands. And fingers. I like watching him when he's doing something manual, you know what I mean? Very dextrous. Does that sound strange? I meant when he's building things, stuff like that.....
Am I lowering the tone of the thread again? Sorry.

Cheffie66,,,,,You know what they say about idle hands. lol
If my son / brother were to come home and I began to realize that he were a "real spy", I would be awed. Does it seem that MW doesn't get the repect or admiration for his prowess that he should? For instance, Nate hears MW speaking Russian but does't seem the least surprised.
Am I expecting too much from a series??

Okay, this has got to be one of my favorite Michael Westen moments. In fact, I turned it into a ringtone on my phone (every time I get an e-mail I hear MW talking!

).
This is in Loose Ends (Season 1 finale) where MW is talking to the "Second Biggest" heroin dealer and the guy asks him "Who are you?" Michael turns to him and says "I'm Michael Westen, I used to be a spy".

There is a spot that gets over looked I think. In Seek and Destroy, Michael is talking to Chandler as Miles Parker. He is telling him "it could be a black listed spy working freelance. He could be standing right in front of you and you wouldn't know it." don't know if this is word for word but that just cracks me up. Talking about himself the black listed spy. lol Too techno challenged to do screen cap of this scene but if some one does it would be nice.

He also seems to be a minimalist, I would have that place full and cluttered in no time...I have always liked open lofts like his. I get a kick on how creative and clever he is in furnishing the place and fixing it up. Did I see a chain saw chain link being used as a cupboard handle?

Here are some other "eye" moments, Jenna! I've always tried to figure out the color. My conclusion: Blue-Green...like the beautiful water of Miami.

It's from "False Flag," right after Michael meets Doug and requests a paper clip to repair the gun that Evelyn disabled.
