Bought the book yesterday at Barnes & Noble. They just got it.... they didnt even have it on the shelves yet. I bought 2 books (1 for my wife 1 for me )

WOW SIMPLY AMAZING.
On Chapter 7... Almost done with 1/3 of the book (About 300 pages). ITS INCREDIBLE.

Gonna pick up the book today on my way home from work and am so excited!!! I just picked up the Complete Series on DVD YESTERDAY so I think I'll watch the last few episodes of season 4 as a refresher. Part of me really wants to start over at the 1st season and have a complete series viewing marathon before I dive into the book, but I don't know if I can wait the amount of time it will take to do that, I'm really eager to start it.
In fact I'm about halfway through book 5 of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series and as much as I'm enjoying it, I think I'm gonna have to put it on hold while I tackle the new 4400 book. Otherwise I know I'll just find myself reading DT while continuously glancing over to my copy of "Welcome To Promise City" sitting on the bookshelf...

Wow getting my hands on this book is turning out to be more of a hassle than I had anticipated. I just finished checking at just about all the Borders, Barnes & Noble & Waldenbooks stores in the area, and all I could find is ONE Barnes & Noble on the other side of the freakin' city that actually has a copy in-store on the shelf.
I don't know if I should be happy since that could mean a lot of people have gone out and bought the book which is why nobody has it...........or if I should be upset 'cause that could mean none of the stores were stocking it in the first place.

I would love more books also. Greg Cox says alot depend on sales. So buy everyone. Maybe some will will start a discussion of the books.

It seems that the book is getting a good review. I'm getting one in the next few days. Need to feed my hunger for 4400.
