Could someone help me please. Just discovered NCIS last year. I have been taping all NCIS episodes and then watching, sometimes all night. Some I've seen several times. Anyway, need some help. Last night watched where Jenny was killed, FBI guy took over NCIS and split up the team. If that is the future without our regulares I just will not watch anymore. Have been watching all day today and they have not gone further. Please would someone who knows whats going on let me know? It was episode 115 & 116. I also do not see Zita in the line up for this year. She was such fun to watch on the team I hope they did not get rid of her also. So if someone who is a longtime watcher and fan would please clue me in it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The team is stiill intact under the direction of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (Vance). And yes, Ziva is still there.

You're actually talking about episodes 112 and 113. You probably wouldn't see any episodes after those two, because USA Network doesn't play very many episodes from Season 6 (which contains the episodes after Jenny's death). Leon Vance, who took after NCIS as Director, wasn't FBI starting Season 5, where he was introduced as Assistant Director. Leon Vance became a regular cast character and Gibbs' new team was introduced, but after the end of the second episode, McGee, Tony, and Ziva return. You don't have to worry about quitting the NCIS addiction anytime soon. (:
Ziva, on the other hand, might not be returning to the team due to the latest episode. A summary of episode 138 (from Wikipedia): "Ziva's homecoming to Israel with Gibbs and the team is not a happy reunion with her father, the enigmatic and powerful head of Mossad. As tensions rise, and based on information he gets from McGee and Abby, Gibbs decides to leave Ziva in Tel Aviv. Ziva is then captured by terrorists in Somalia that Rivkin had been investigating."

Yes that last epi when Ziva got captured, shows her tied up and beat up. There's been speculation amongst ourselves whether Cote de Pablo (Ziva) is coming back, but we've found nothing that says otherwise. So to our knowledge she's going to be returning for S7 starting--I think Stew said--in September.

Anyways, she's coming back. I have my sources who tell me things.

Have my sources too and they agree with Olivia. She will be back but will be "a changed woman".

I've been looking at past subjects, posts and they discuss that Jenny is gone. Guess, that's what happens when one is shot dead. But, no one has explained why? I know that Shasha Alexander wanted to leave the show but I don't know why Lauren Holly left. Did she also wish to leave? If, someone knows could they post here?

I don't know that it was ever said why Lauren left the show. It very well could've been that she was just being written out. Even tho she did have her nasty moments, I'm still a Jenny fan.

The way the story went, Jenny had a disease that was not going to be good to her. In fact it was to be a very painful and a very prolonged path to her death. The other side of it was that she wanted to spare Jethro from having to deal with what she failed to do. In the show, she died on her own terms.

Many others have also left for no apparent reason.

michvhf - Thank you for responding. Guess, it wasn't revealed if, Lauren left because she asked to leave or they just wrote her out of the show. I agree that Jenny may have had spotty moments but on the whole, I felt she added to the team, liked that they gave this important position to a woman, and I loved the flashbacks to Paris....... Yes, they said, Jenny had a disease and it would have been a slow and painful death. I thought that Lauren portrayed Jenny beautifully and one gained lots of respect for Jenny. Lauren Holly is excellent and I miss her. Do not like the new director. Don't trust him. LOL

He does seem to have his own agenda at times but I liked that episode when they showed him and Gibbs with his family. His wife and kids were great.
