I thought that "He Dead" was the first episode of the season, but on "Upcoming episodes" on the Psych homepage, it lists "Extradition: British Colombia" as the premiere on August 7. Am I missing something?

I believe the episodes are not shot in the order shown.

I'm pretty sure that, as has happened in the past, the have a 'schedule' shoot things, and then sometimes play around with the order after the fact. This is why the wet bar built in Psy vs Psy (the first episode filmed in season 2 but shown third) can be seen in the "previous" episode of 65 Million Years Off (which was filmed third, but shown second, after American Duos which was filmed second but shown first).

That being said, I think He Dead was filmed first, but they decided not to air it first. Make sense?

It could be that the order that the episodes are filmed are different than the order they're aired. But also whoever put them up on the spoiler sight could have just screwed up the order.

If you listen to the Mr Yang podcast Steve and Andy mention that the season 4 opener would be set in Canada last season Murder anyone anyone Bueller was filmed 1st Ghost second Tuesday the 17th was filmed 10th and Six feet under the sea was second last. I think the 3rd episode for this season will be another Berman episode which was originally labeled as number 5 as this is the 50th episode and it is a milestone it will most likely be treated as one just going by a couple of sights listings and the countdown calendar

Looking at the full schedule for August on the USA site, the order will be:

August 7: EXTRADITION: BRITISH COLUMBIA
August 14: HE DEAD (and a full day marathon! Woo hoo!)
August 21: SHAWN TAKES A SHOT IN THE DARK
August 28: BOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE

This season is going to be AMAZING!!

especially cuz school for me starts august 17 so it'll be the first friday of the semester before i have anything really pressing to do.
i'll be able to watch it like..5 times that weekend! hehehe!

aug 7: the day before i leave for vacation
aug 14: the day after i get back from vacation
aug 21: the first friday in my new apt (i will definitely be breaking in my new dvr )
aug 28: the last friday of summer (it will definitely be bittersweet considering i get to dive into biochem on monday... ick)

i tried once with my one friend but it was before i had the dvds and the internet wasnt working. so she hasnt seen a full episode...

ya know...im scheduling my drive back home to GA from NJ around the premiere. im not leaving til sat. the 8th so i dont have to worry about missing psych cuz im on the road. hahah.

i was pleasantly surprised to find that i was going to be living w/ a fellow addict, we actually discovered this (after we had already decided to be roomies) while we were at a party, we knew abt 3 ppl, when we ditched the festivities for a mini-marathon

i tried with my old roomie, with the help of her bf... annoyingly enough it didnt work, as exampled by the fact that during the next new episode she wanted to hv a full-on conversation and then proceeded to make smoothies. needless to say, a new ep of my fave show and her blender do not a good combo make

i did manage to get my bff addicted so ive got a win in my record book
