First of all

hello everybody:) i am new to this forum and i love psych and monk and many other shows that i dont have time to mention lol

I just wanted to see if i wasn't alone on this; who thinks that writers show us the couple that we have to root for and then we just have to love them no matter what? like jack and kate in lost and well jules and shawn in psych. I mean they are sweet and their flirting is cute but serioulsy have they ever have any interaction that makes you go "wow this is a real love story that needs to be done" i think not. Whose with me???

i can think of a few examples where i thought they had to be together
1.He loves me he loves me not oops he's dead: They made a 100% match in the speed dating thing. I know Shaen said he was copying her answers, but i don't think he was telling the truth
2.Scary Sherry: The way that they had eachothers back the entire way through.
3.American Duos: same as SS
4.Meat is Murder, but Murder is also Murder: Apple Jacks T-Shirt and the way Shawn asked Jules for a drink afterwards.
5.Rob-A-Bye Baby: Shawn's proposal and the interaction between them afterwards
6.Bounty Hunters: Close talking and Shawn said he was not doing for the money, he was doing it for the girl
7.Shawn (and Gus) of the dead: Shawn was flirting with the curator and Jules looked at him and he said "What, you had your chance."
8.Murder Anyone Anyone Buller: After he kissed Abby he said it was 'pritty much perfect' but he was looking at Jules
9. Disco Didn't Die, it was Murdered: the note Shawn left said "Andreas isn't rea. Follow us. You smell nice." then later he told Gus and his dad that she know exactly what to do in a dreamy voice
10.Talk Derby to Me: Skating at the end and the candle lit dinner he made
11.Gus Walks into a bank: Upset about Luntz boardwalk and ball park fanks at the end
12.Christmas Joy: Shawn said that it could matter that he knew Joy before Jules
13.Six Feet Under the Sea: April and Jules talk then Shawn and Jules talk.
14.Lassie Did a Bad Bad Thing: talking up Juliet at the end
15.Any Given Friday night: the 11 year old nephew is rugedy sexy, checking out Shawn in uniform. End when she is smiling at him leading the tam out of the tunnel
16.Truer Lies: Wanting to believe Shawn, but Lassiter tells her she isn't allowed to
17.Truer Lies: shooting the hand is sexy according to Shawn
18.An Evening with Mr. Yang: of course the Juliet speach, but Shawn really wanted to go with her, but he couldn't do that to Abby again. He also thanked Gus nonverbally for being in the car during the date
There is my extencive list of ways that the writers make me believe that Shaen and Jules will be toghether

Shules reminds me so much of Jim/Pam on The Office, if anyone watches that. There was ackwardness, distance, other people (Roy, Karen)...but eventually they got together and have been since...but it took a few seasons (long and painful ones at that). I have no doubt Shules will happen...it is just too soon. We have seen Shawn pining over Juliet...now we really need to see the opposite, and it looks like season 4 will provide that as Shawn with probably be with Abigail for a bit.

I fully admit to being a Shules shipper...but like I said, its too soon in the series for it to happen. I'm warming up to the idea of Shawn and Abigail, as she is a likable character and a good match for Shawn. Can't wait to see what the writers have in store for Season 4!

wow thats a great list!! i loved all of those moments. i like abby too, but i think he should be with Jules.

yeah that is a good list lol but they have each other back professionally and that is it (to me at least) i guess i don 't like when writers in the pilot are saying this is the couple your supposed to like so do i like him with Abigail

lol. ive seen that site before. my old teacher is pregnant so she posted options of what the kid might look like.

i think that there's more to the relationship between shawn and jules than just having each other's back proffessionaly. And i think we'll have more shules moment to look foward to in season 4 . As you can tell in my signature i'm a huge shules fan. HUGE!
