Psych's less than a month away, so what predictions does anyone have? With Shawn's love life, certain cases, or anything in general. Also, what things would you want to see happen? Again, it can be on any subject.
In my opinion, I could see the Abigail thing lasting a few episodes, but then Abigail showing a little 6 Feet Under the Sea and acknowledging his relationship with Jules and trying to back away. It's a bit too early in the show to give Shawn a lasting girlfriend. Also, I can see someone finding out that he's not Psychic somehow. I mean like one of the main characters- my best bet being Chief. It's a stretch, but why not. What are some predictions everyone else has? What would you like to see happen? Which character would win in a cage match?

i like abby but i want him to be with jules insead. that would be pretty interesting if some like the chief found out shawn wasnt psychic. but in the end it doesnt really matter if hes psychic or not because hes still a great detective.

I live on the spoiler thread so I know too much! LOL!
But there is one thing I hope for and that is a few Lassie-take-charge eppies and more Henry-Shawn-Gus adventures.

I agree with that, I'd love to see Henry get in on some more action! Perhaps this will lead to a little more info on why Henry retired from the force, presumably before he wanted to.
Adding a little thought about Shawn, but it includes a spoiler-

Yeah, I feel like it's cheating more than a little since we do know quite a bit. So I'll just echo BTC and say that I'd love more "Lassie in charge" moments/episodes. Those always turn out nicely, I think!

It's really hard to predict what will happen in a show like this, but one thing I'm feeling pretty confident about is that it will be made of pure WIN!

Based on the season 3 finale, it's safe to assume that we'll see more of abigail (though i would love to see more shules moments)..also, with regard to the matters of the heart, Gus and Lassy should have love life! (and I'm being emphatic about it

).. i also think that there might be a chance for Henry and Madeleine to get back together since there were some sparks on both of them (this may be a long shot, though)...i would also like to see another character who is also like shawn and would somehow become a threat to him (similar to lindsay leiken's character, but this time, the character is hired by SBPD- this may not be the most original idea but i like the fact that shawn becomes competitive

)
but i do agree that no matter what happens, Psych will always be a win-win

We all know the show just keeps getting better and whatever they have planned this season will be amazing. Judging by the spoilers that I've read, everything is going to be awesome. We're definitely gonna see Abigail, but I'm looking forward to seeing some more personal aspects be dealt into the cards. I'm thinking that we're going to have some nice Shawn and Henry growth and development. I would very much appreciate a few storylines like that. I guess that's all I'll say for now because I don't want to 'spoiler' up this thread.

Whatever is in store for us is going to be great. I just wish it was August 7th.

Well seeing as how it's obvious that Shawn will be seeing more of Abigail, which is obviously going to create angst for Juliet, I'm interested to see how that dynamic affects thier relationships with all the other characters on the show. I'm especially interested to see how that tension/angst will affect Juliet's character interaction. This plot device is one big opportunity to grow ALL the characters on many levels. Examples:
-Juliet and Carlton growing closer as friends as well as partners, a great chance for development of Lassiter as well
-Juliet seeking Gus's advice about Shawn
-can you imagine what the writers could do if Jules went to HENRY for advice about how to deal with Shawn? Now THAT is a scene I'd love to see!
I'd also like to add that I want to see a Buzz-centric episode. Wouldn't it be great if Buzz solved a case? That would rock! *sigh* One of these days...

If nothing else, she interrogated him in "Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable" and she was in the tunnel watching Shawn in with Henry "Any Given Friday Night...".

After reading your comments, I especially agree with more of Shawn's dad. He is so funny and cute (in an old guy way) - esp his whole interaction with Shawn, the way you can see that his kid just drives him nuts and his own conflicting sides - doesn't want to write 'Love Dad' cause it's all kissy kissy but he exfoliates and takes bubble baths, LOL. OMG, they are just so funny.
But I also agree with more of the Lassiter/Jules partnership! We've only seen a little of that and I think it has so much potential... I just loved how they high fived in the season finale. They're so different but similar.. and Lassie is such a dork, he's hilarious. Yah, I think lots of potential (humour and otherwise) for that relationship too.

"If ur talking about a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship between lassie and jules, to me that' just NOT right. I want her to be with Shawn VERY much."
No, we're talking about their relationship as working partners and friends. Don't fret!
It's nice to see that glimpse every now and then showing how they've progressed in this way, such as in "65 Million Years Off" when they're on a hot streak solving cases (well, mostly Lassiter's hot streak, but he couldn't have done it without Jules). Then at the end he caves in and gets a consolation hug from her because Spencer beat him and ended his streak. That was such an "awww" moment. Also, O'Hara trying to include Lassiter in on her family Christmas celebrations since she knows he's alone...then having the heart to spare his feelings because he's just a big obnoxious dork around her family. Poor guy!
I look forward to seeing more moments like this in season 4.

Word! I would love to see more Jules/Lassiter friendship, and Henry/Shawn development as father and son.
As far as particular episodes, I have no idea - I have been avoiding spoilers like the plague...I have the utmost faith in the writers and producers, though. The show just keeps getting better and better, and I see no reason why it should stop doing so now!

Yeah. Early in the series, the Chief threatened to prosecute if the psychic thing was a scam, but now they're good friends, and he's helped out a lot. I can't imagine her doing anything.
Although, I think it'll be Jules who finds out first.

"NO! Lassie is the one character who can never know. Shawn would never hear the end of it."
Oh I think Lassiter already knows. He's NEVER believed Shawn, not from the very beginning. He's just never been able to prove it. Also, I believe he's come to begrudgingly accept Shawn as a damn good detective in his own right, so at this point he tolerates Shawn simply because of his extreme efficacy. He's even gotten to the point where he'll (extremely reluctantly) ask for Shawn's help on rare occasions.
It's a classic hate/kinda sorta like relationship.

In one of the season one episodes, (I forget which one) Lassiter said that he will never admit Shawn's a psychic. But in Gus Walks Into a Bank when Shawn is talking to him and Juliet about her relationship with Luntz, he says "What, he's a psychic. Shouldn't he know already?" (or something like that. I'm not sure about the exact words.)

There have been several occasions where Lassiter himself has no explanation for Shawn's "abilities". Besides, as pointed out by Shawn in the very first episode, the only way for them to know that he isn't a psychic is if he tells them himself. I think even Lassiter is coming to terms with Shawn's act.

I don't think it would put their relationship back at all. If Shawn told Jules that he's not really a psychic, she would understand why he claims to be one, and she would most likely respect him a great more deal, because it means that he's three times the detective she is.

I agree. I think the only bad thing him telling her he's not psychic could possibly do is make her jealous, and I highly doubt that would happen. I think she'd be more amazed he can solve so many cases
without psychic abilities!
