The teacher said on Monday he would give them the background, but Lizzie was really curious. Lizzie was happy to see her stepmom, Olivia, already home when she walked in the door.
"Hey Lizzie, how was school?" Olivia asked her.
Lizzie plopped down on the couch and Olivia sat next to her.
"What do you know about the edmund fitzgerald?" Lizzie asked her
"The ship?" Olivia asked, surprised.
"yeah, cause we are singing the song for music class, and it had me wondering." Lizzie told her.
"Well, pretty much what you hear in the song is what happened. But there was another boat that was't too far away, they should have been able to see them, but the storm was so bad." Olvia told her.
"Tell me all you know about it, pleasaer?" Lizzie asked.
"Sure." Olivia started telling her everything, while Lizzie sat there entranced.
