There was a loud Thump on the floor, something had fallen. Olivia jolted her head up from her desk at the loud sound. There was obviously somebody still in here with her, but last she saw everyone had Gone out for some drinks or gone home. It was past 3am and nobody was allowed inside the precint Unless it be for an important reason, but Olivia was always an Exception.

She looked around, now a bit more alert than usual. There was nobody around "Whos in here?" she yelled. She heard nothing but the sound of her computer running. Had it been the wind? Her imagination? It had to be. She turned back around to the paper work on her desk. just when she was about to Press her pen on to the paper she heard another thump.

This time she kept her eyes on her desk and froze. She tried listening for something else, anything that could convince her to pick her gun up but, Two times is more than enough to prove its beyond her imagination. She slowly put her pen down and reached for her gun which was nicely placed on her Hip. Just as she was about to Snatch it out of its carrying case she felt ice cold hands touch her shoulders and the deep voice of a man "what are you still doing here?" She quickly turned around

"crap Elliot, must you sneak up on people all the time? I didn't hear you come in."

He Chuckled "I apologize for frightening you but I had to come back and get some things I had forgotten." She looked at him in suspicion. "things?" she asked.

"yes things" he confirmed while he messed around in his desk drawer as if he was trying to keep up an act. She stared at him still with suspicion in her eyes as he picked up his Jacket from his Desk and a few papers.

"What could have possibly been so important for him to come back and get? His jacket? Please."she thought. She turned back around to finish up what was left of her papers as she waited for Elliot to leave "you coming?" He asked looking down over her shoulders.

She looked back at him in Surprise given the fact that she still had a pile of papers on her desk which had an urgent Need to get filled out.

she jokingly added "Did I consist of the things you came back for?"

Elliot stood there motionless, almost as if she had Revealed the real reason why he was there

Confused she answered "uh no I have to stay, I have a lot to finish" she was Embarrassed that the joke wasn't as funny as she planned it to be.

She fidgeted through some papers as he stood there watching her for a minute or so, he saw her getting uncomfortable

"id rather you come with" He Added in a hard voice. Almost as if he was forcing her. He looked her hard in the eyes, she couldnt help to stare back...there was something about his eyes...something different that hadnt caught her attention before.

she could have sworn his eyes were light blue once, but tonight they werent...tonight they were light caramel brown, closer to the color of blood re.. " her thoughts were interrupted by elliots impatient gestures, like he was in a hurry to get somewhere

"um no Really I just need to finish this" "well then il wait for you" He retorted. Never in her whole working career with elliot had she felt awkward with him. Shed stayed several times alone with him at the precint, and sometimes even at his apartment and it had been nothing out of the ordinary to her but Tonight was different. Tonight there was something in his eyes that told her something wasn't right. That he hadn't chosen to stay by her side just because.
