Hello,
We have recently acquired a female Westie. She is 11 weeks old now. We noticed that she has one black nail and the rest have no pigment. What color should the Westie nails be? Are multicolor nails a diqualifier in conformation?? Her nose and pads are all black. Will she eventually get all black nails? Please advise.
Thanks.

If you will be showing your puppy you should familiarize yourself with the breed standard which says:
Feet--Forefeet are larger than the hind ones, are round, proportionate in size, strong, thickly padded; they may properly be turned out slightly. Dewclaws may be removed. Black pigmentation is most desirable on pads of all feet and nails, although nails may lose coloration in older dogs.
However, it does not mention the lack of pigmentation being a disqualifying fault, just says that it is most desirable
