Morning,

I am a big fan of the NBC program LIFE - Talk about characters! I think the series would fit in perfectly on USA.
What other cable network would have a ex-con police detective.

USA - Please save LIFE from a - remember that series - fate.

save Life!! Best show on TV, perfect fit with Burn Notice. I watch Burn Notice and the minute Royal Pains comes on I change the channel. Burn Notice and Life together I would watch USA for two hours straight. I do believe there are a whole lot of people who feel the same way as I do. Life has the best character on tv in Charlie Crews, Damian Lewis was great in Band of Brothers and he is great in Life. Save LIFE USA you will not regret it. With a little support from its network LIFE will never fail.

There is a chance we can save the show Life. I have started an online petition to gather enough support to convince the executives of USA to bring Life to their network. If anybody knows about Life, its definitely a show with a lot of character and it fits in well with their other crime-solving shows. Please view the petition from the link below and sign so we can save this show. Thank you all for your support.

I wish you all the best of luck with your endeavor. We are currently seeking to save Criminal Intent from the stupidity of the USA network. We trusted them with our show after it moved to USA from NBC and they are ruining by seeking to dump the two lead characters who are the foundation of the show, Detectives Goren and Eames! Not to mention their sometimes abrasive Captain Ross - who has won over legions of fans after taking over for Captain Jimmy Deakins - whom we all LOVED! Well the vast majority of us love Ross now, too!

Apparently, USA has the opposite of the Midas Touch when it comes to keeping the integrity of NBC's original shows.

Keep fighting the good fight, y'all, and don't give up. We're not!! smile.gif

Good point, OBC! We were all very excited when USA "saved" our NBC show. And that first season (which was season 7 for LOCI) was wonderful! USA promoted this show with clever commercials. The episodes were some of the best ever aired. Logan's exit from the show was poignant and well-deserving of a character who has been around for as long as the Law and Order franchise. Goren's final episode of season 7 was a roller-coaster that left him and his fans stunned. And we couldn't wait for season 8.

But something happened along the way. USA lost their love of these particular NBC characters they had saved. Season 8 could have been great...but USA delayed the premiere...and delayed. It was obvious that the new writers and Vincent D'Onofrio had a plan to show Goren regaining his footing and moving on. But USA decided that the episodes were mix or match and showed them so out of order it was confusing. Goren's beard magically disappeared and reappeared within the same episode. The same happened with Wheeler's pregnant belly...now you see it, now you don't.

And then USA decided that Robert Goren, the character around whom Law and Order Criminal Intent was built 8 years ago...was "too dark for USA's lighter dramas." And so, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that Goren, Eames, and Ross are out and they will concentrate on the "lighter" character of Zach Nichols, as portrayed by Jeff Goldblum (and actor I have always loved and whom I loved in season 8). They are hoping he will draw the Monk fans to LOCI now that Monk is ending.

I wonder if they truly think Monk fans will be any happier with this than the Goren and Eames fans are? It seems like a huge slap in the face to the fans of both shows.

I was a big fan of Life and was very disappointed that it was canceled. While it's tempting to campaign for USA to pick up this show, I am not so sure that it's the answer. If they treat Life the way they have treated LOCI, it would be a terrible thing, IMO. What if USA decides that Charley Crews is "too dark" for USA and replaces him with a "lighter character"? Seem ridiculous? That's what I would have said a year ago about that exact scenario happening to LOCI.

CHARLIE CREWS & the show LIFE

It is clear that USA is determined to destroy a once compelling and intelligent show. Removing Goren (around whom the show was originally written) and Eames (world's best partner) and Ross (a captain who earned my respect after taking over from popular and likable Deakins), and moving the direction of the show to "lighter" fare shows nothing but contempt for the fans who made this one of the most popular shows on cable. THIS fan won't stick around to watch the disaster that will be left.

I would seriously warn the fans of any shows you are hoping to save...USA is NOT the network to save them.
